2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Kale whi̧né atéró detere o̧la naai ape yóló ali male so whi̧ dape sene fae yóló, ama kutó diratere whi̧rape dotonaletei, atima hó̧yóló waalomeipó yalepó.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Tétepa, ama mepaae kutó diratere whi̧rapemo dotonótu duraalu, ‘I detere o̧la naai ape yóló ali male so whi̧paae i fo yae. Ya̧lo o̧lata taleyóló mulóló, bulmakau hupuró mepaae seraai huputamo dóló turukiyóló mulóo, mepaae o̧la o̧lakélé fea mo su̧mó taleyóló mulóo erapa, ya̧lo naalené so dokotere be dȩmó detere o̧la naai ape yae,’ yalepó.
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.

5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.

6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.

7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;

9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.

10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.

11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Atépa, kale doasi topo whi̧né a̧paae woseturaalu, ‘No-ó, ya̧ so dokotere be dȩmó detere o̧la naai derótua dere kuti derénire noatepa yaleé?’ yóló foné salemó, kale whi̧ haleturaalu, fokélé tekeni, hokomó sókó fi beterepó.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Tétepa, kale doasi topo whi̧né ama kutó diratere whi̧paae duraalu, ‘Ai whi̧ belamó diliki dolomó wole du bitu ama serekenétei, a̧ turukóló nuku beteró̧pólópa, hó naase dokóló taae derae,’ yalepó.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Ti noatepae, so whi̧ mo turó ape yaletei, tóróti sokósu yale so whi̧maaté wóló beterapó,” yalepó.
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.

16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Sisapaae takis moni matere ala wisirépé, dore? Ti naao noa kisipa mute?” yalepó.
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?

19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.

20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?

21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.

22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.

24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.

25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.

26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.

27 And last of all the woman also died.

28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Ti fo depa, Yesuné duraalu, “Diaao̧ ai mutu betere kisipata, kale asȩmó yóló muló betere foró Kótóné doasi bole fotoko̧tamo wisiyóló kisipani, ha̧sókó furaalu du beterapó.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Kale sinale whi̧rape momó kepaayóló betaaire sukamó whi̧kélé so dokóo, sokélé whi̧tamo fóo ini, ó hepen bemó betere ensel-rape kaae betaalo ai ape.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.

31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:

32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.

34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se

36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Ai fo depa, Yesuné tokó̧ mótu duraalu, “Naao Talepaae yaala sókó fóló, hȩkesené sinitere alata, naao hosaa bete turónékélé, naao kepe bete turónékélé, naao kisipa tiki bete turónékélé, yaala sókó fu betae.
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Ti ai alata, ama folosóró yae yóló muló betere mo doa topo ala ai ape.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Ai ki̧lipaae me tamo dakoróló yae yóló muló betere mo doasi topo fo i ape. Naaotei ya̧ yaala sókó fóló hȩkesené sukutu dere kaae, naao be whi̧ so whi̧paaekélé atéró yaala sókó fu betae.
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 Kale yae yóló muló betere forape fearó Kótóné ama fo eratere ko̧ló whi̧rapetamoné ere fota, ti i doasi topo fo tamo tómó beleró beterapó,” yalepó.
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.

42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!

43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:

44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?

45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?

46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
