1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:

2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Yá nacuèriná ibànùaca yàasu wenàiwicanáiwa nàaca namáidacaténá wenàiwica nacuèriná icàlidéeyéicaté iríni quéecha. Quéwa càmita nawàwa nàwacáidáyacacawa néré.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Néese nacuèriná ibànùaca yàasu wenàiwicanáiwa áibanái. Ipíchawáise nàacawa, yá íimaca nalí: ‘Pìacué picàlidaca nalíni, níara numáidéeyéica, nudéca nuchùnìaca yái nayáapináca. 4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.

5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.

6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.

7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Iná pìacué picutáca mamáalàacata wenàiwicanái bamuchúamibàa yàcalé, àyapulìcubàa nacái pimáidacaténácué nía macáita pìanèeyéica’, íimaca yái nacuèrináca.
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Néese níái yàasu wenàiwicanái nàacawa bamuchúamibàa yàcalé àyapulìcubàa, yá nàwacáidaca macáita wenàiwica nàanèeyéica néenibàa, cayábanaméeyéi, báawanaméeyéita nacái. Iná yéewa idéca capìi ipuníacawa madécaná wenàiwica iyú, yái manuíri capìi imàdáaná casamiento yàaluca.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “Néeseta quéwa yái nacuèriná iwàlùacawa néré itàidacaténá wenàiwicanái yàanèeyéica néré nayáacaténá nayáacaléwa, yá iicáca abéeri asìali nèewi ibàlesíami yáapichawa meedá. 11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.

12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.

13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.

14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.

16 Iná nabànùaca abénaméeyéi néenáwa Jesús yàatalé náapicha nacái áibanái cayábéeyéi iicáca rey Herodes íiwitáise. Yá náimaca Jesús irí:
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Iná picàlida walíni càinácaalí píináidacawa: ¿Cayábasica wapáyaidacaalí wáichawa plata iyú níara emperador romanosàiri yàasu gobiernonái icuèyéica wàasu cáli? —náimaca.
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Quéwa Jesús yáalíaca náiwitáise báawéeri nawàwáaná nacháawàaca iináwaná ìwali itàacái ìwalíisewa. Yá íimaca nalí:
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?

19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.

20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?

21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.

22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.

24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Uwé, áibaalíté nàyaca wèewi siete namanùbaca yéenánái. Nabèeri yeedáca abéechúa íinupináwa, quéwa yéetácawa uícha méenibeta. Méenibecáináni, íná iméeréeri yeedáca úái ibèeri íinumicawa.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.

26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.

27 And last of all the woman also died.

28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Néese Jesús íimaca nalí:
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.

30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.

31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 Dios íimacaté: ‘Núacata yái Dios icuèrica Abraham, Isaac nacái, Jacob nacái’, càité íimaca yái Diosca. ¡Dios càmita icùa yéetéeyéimiwa ichéeca meedá! ¡Néese Dios icùaca cáuyéi wenàiwica! Iná iwàwacutácué píalíacawa cáuca nía Dios yáapicha siùcade, níái Abraham, Isaac, Jacob nacái, éwita néetácáanítatéwa madécaná camuí ipíchawáiseté Moisés ìyaca. Iná yéewa wáalíacawa Dios icáucàidáanápiná yéetéeyéimiwa áiba èeriwa —íimaca yái Jesúsca.
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.

33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.

34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 Néese abéeri fariseo yéewáidéeri wenàiwica templo irìcu, íináidacawa yáalimáidáanápiná iicáwa Jesús icàlidáanápiná áiba wawàsi báawéeri nacháawàacaténá iináwaná ìwali ìwalíise. Yá íimaca Jesús irí:
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 —Pía yéewáidéerica wenàiwica, nàyaca madécaná wawàsi Dios ichùulièrica wamàníinápináca. ¿Càiríiná wawàsi máiníiri cachàinica náicha canánama wamàníinápiná? —íimaca.
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?

37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.

38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.

41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 Iimaca nalí:
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Néese Jesús íimaca nalí:
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 ‘Nucuèriná Dios íimacaté Nuíwacali irí: Píawinawa nuéwápuwáise picùacaténá núapicha macáita, idècunitàacá numawènìadaca píicha macái piùwidenáiwa, íimaca yái Diosca’,
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Yái rey Davidca íimacaté Mesías ìwali ‘Nuíwacali’, íná éwita rey David itaquérinámicáanítani, yái Mesíasca, càicáaníta iwàwacutá náimaca ìwali rey David Iiwacali nacáicani —íimaca yái Jesúsca, icàlidaca nalí ìwaliwa, yái Mesíasca.
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?

46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
