New Simplified Bible (NSB) vs NTLH
1 Jehovah spoke to Moses in the Desert of Sinai in the first month of the second year after the Israelites left Egypt. He said:
1 No primeiro mês do segundo ano depois da saída do povo de Israel do Egito, o Senhor falou com Moisés no deserto do Sinai. Ele disse:
2 »The Israelites should celebrate the Passover at the same time every year.

3 »You must celebrate it on the fourteenth day of this month at dusk. Follow all the rules and regulations for the celebration of the Passover.«

4 So Moses told the Israelites to celebrate the Passover.
4 Portanto, Moisés mandou que os israelitas comemorassem a Páscoa.
5 They celebrated it on the fourteenth day of the first month at dusk while they were in the Desert of Sinai. The Israelites did everything as Jehovah commanded Moses.
5 Eles a comemoraram no dia catorze do primeiro mês, ao pôr do sol, no deserto do Sinai. Os israelitas fizeram tudo o que o Senhor havia ordenado a Moisés.
6 There were some men who had become unclean from touching a dead body. They could not celebrate the Passover that day. They went to Moses and Aaron.
6 Porém alguns homens se tornaram impuros porque tocaram num morto e por isso não puderam comemorar a Páscoa naquele dia. Eles foram falar com Moisés e Arão
7 They said: »We are unclean because we touched a dead body. Why are we prevented from making our offerings to Jehovah at the same time the rest of the Israelites bring their offerings?«
7 e disseram: — Estamos impuros porque tocamos num morto. Será que não vamos poder apresentar a nossa oferta ao
8 Moses answered: »Wait here until I find out what Jehovah commands you to do.«
8 Então Moisés respondeu: — Esperem, que eu vou falar com o
9 Jehovah said to Moses, »Tell the Israelites:
9 Aí o Senhor disse a Moisés:
10 »Should you or any of your descendants be unclean from touching a dead body or away on a long trip. You may still celebrate the Passover.
10 — Diga aos israelitas o seguinte: se algum de vocês ou dos seus descendentes estiver impuro por haver tocado num morto ou se estiver longe, viajando, mesmo assim poderá comemorar a Páscoa em honra de Deus, o Senhor .
11 »You will celebrate it on the fourteenth day of the second month at dusk. Eat the Passover animal along with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.
11 Vocês a comemorarão um mês depois, no dia catorze do segundo mês, quando anoitecer. Nessa ocasião vocês comerão o animal com pães sem fermento e com ervas amargas.
12 »Never leave any of the meat until morning or break any of the animals bones. Follow all the rules for the Passover when you celebrate it.
12 Não deixem sobrar nada da comida para o dia seguinte e não quebrem nenhum osso do animal. Façam a comemoração de acordo com todas as leis da Páscoa.
13 »If you are clean and not on a trip and yet do not bother to celebrate the Passover, you must be excluded from the people. You did not bring your offering to Jehovah at the right time. You must suffer the consequences for your sin.
13 Mas pode acontecer que alguém esteja puro e não esteja viajando; se essa pessoa não comemorar a Páscoa, será expulsa do meio do povo, pois não me apresentou a oferta no tempo certo. E será castigada por causa do seu pecado.
14 »Foreigners living with you may want to celebrate Jehovahs Passover. They must follow these same rules and regulations. The same rules will apply to foreigners and native-born Israelites.«
14 — Se algum estrangeiro que mora no meio de vocês quiser comemorar a Páscoa, terá de obedecer às leis e às ordens a respeito dessa festa. A mesma lei será para todos, tanto para os nascidos no país como para os estrangeiros.
15 That day the tent of the words of Gods Covenant was set up. The column of smoke covered it. The smoke over the tent glowed like fire from evening until morning.
15 No dia em que foi armada a Tenda Sagrada , veio uma nuvem e a cobriu. De noite a nuvem parecia fogo.
16 The smoke always glowed this way. At night the smoke that covered the tent glowed like fire.
16 Era sempre assim: de dia a nuvem cobria a Tenda e de noite parecia fogo.
17 When the smoke moved from the tent the Israelites would break camp. Wherever it stopped the Israelites would set up camp.
17 Quando a nuvem se levantava de cima da Tenda, os israelitas começavam a caminhar. No lugar onde a nuvem parava, aí eles acampavam.
18 The Israelites would break camp or set up camp at Jehovahs command. They stayed at the place where the column of smoke stayed over the tent.
18 Eles começavam a caminhar ou acampavam de acordo com a ordem de Deus, o Senhor . E ficavam acampados ali durante o tempo em que a nuvem estava parada sobre a Tenda.
19 When the smoke stayed over the tent for a long time, the Israelites obeyed Jehovahs command and did not break camp.
19 Quando ela ficava muito tempo sobre a Tenda, os israelitas obedeciam à ordem do Senhor e não saíam dali.
20 The same thing happened when the smoke stayed only a few days over the tent: At Jehovahs command they would set up camp, and at his command they would break camp.
20 Às vezes a nuvem ficava poucos dias sobre a Tenda; assim, conforme a ordem do Senhor , eles continuavam acampados ou começavam a caminhar.
21 Sometimes the column of smoke stayed only from evening until morning. They broke camp when the smoke moved in the morning. Day or night, when the smoke moved, they broke camp.
21 Às vezes a nuvem ficava parada somente desde a tarde até a manhã do dia seguinte; quando ela se levantava de manhã, eles começavam a caminhar. Sempre que a nuvem se levantava, fosse de dia ou fosse de noite, os israelitas começavam a caminhar.
22 Whether it was two days, a month, or a year, as long as the column of smoke stayed over the tent, the Israelites stayed in the same place. But when the smoke moved, they would break camp and move.
22 Mas, se ela ficava sobre a Tenda dois dias, ou um mês, ou mesmo um ano, enquanto estivesse parada, os israelitas continuavam acampados e não começavam a caminhar. Porém, quando ela se levantava, eles partiam.
23 At Jehovahs command they set up camp, and at his command they broke camp. They obeyed the command Jehovah gave through Moses.
23 De acordo com a ordem do Senhor , eles acampavam ou começavam a caminhar. Os israelitas faziam isso obedecendo ao que o Senhor ordenava por meio de Moisés.
