1 येशूले फेरि तिनीहरूसित दृष्टान्तहरूमा बोल्दै यसो भन्नुभयो:
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 “स्वर्गको राज्य एउटा राजाजस्तो हो, जसले आफ्ना पुत्रका विवाहको लागि एउटा भोज तयार गरे।
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 तिनले आफ्ना सेवकहरूलाई भोजमा निम्तो पाएकाहरूलाई बोलाउन पठाए; तर तिनीहरूले आउन अस्वीकार गरे।
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 “तब तिनले अझ बढी सेवकहरू पठाए र भने, ‘ती निम्ता गरिएकाहरूलाई मैले मेरो भोज तयार पारेको छु भनी भन: मोटा-मोटा पशुहरू मारेर व्यञ्जन तयार गरिएका छन्; अनि सबै थोक तयार छन्। विवाहको भोजमा आओ।’
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 “तर ती कसैले पनि ध्यान दिएनन्; अनि एउटा आफ्नो खेततिर र अर्कोचाहिँ आफ्नो व्यापारतिर गइहाले।
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 अरू बाँकी रहेकाहरूले चाहिँ तिनका सेवकहरूलाई पक्रे, दुर्व्यवहार गरे र मारे।
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 राजा अति रिसाए, र तिनले आफ्ना सेनाहरू पठाए, र ती हत्याराहरूलाई नाश पारिदिए, र तिनीहरूका सहरहरू जलाइदिए।
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 “तब तिनले आफ्ना सेवकहरूलाई भने, ‘विवाहको भोज त तयार छ, तर ती निम्त्याइएकाहरू आउन योग्यका ठहरिएनन्।
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 यसकारण सडकका कुनाहरूतिर जाओ, र जसलाई भेट्टाउँछौ, त्यसलाई भोजमा आउन निम्तो देओ।’
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 यसकारण ती सेवकहरू सडकतिर गए, र के असल के खराब, भेटेजति सबै मानिसहरूलाई जम्मा गरेर ल्याए; अनि विवाहको घर पाहुनाहरूले भरियो।
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “तर जब राजा ती पाहुनाहरूलाई हेर्न भित्र आए, त्यहाँ तिनले विवाहको वस्त्र नलाएको एक जना मानिसलाई देखे।
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 तिनले सोधे, ‘ए साथी, तिमी विवाहको वस्त्रविना कसरी भित्र आयौ?’ त्यो मानिस निरुत्तर भयो।
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 “तब राजाले कर्मचारीहरूलाई भने, ‘यसका हातखुट्टा बाँधेर बाहिर अँध्यारोमा फ्याँकिदेओ, जहाँ रुवाइ र दाह्रा किटाइ हुनेछ।’
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 “किनकि बोलाइएका धेरै छन्, तर चुनिएका थोरै छन्।”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 त्यसपछि फरिसीहरू बाहिर गइहाले र येशूलाई उहाँकै कुरामा कसरी फसाऔँ भनेर योजना बनाए।

16 तिनीहरूले आफ्ना चेलाहरूलाई हेरोदीहरूसित उहाँकहाँ पठाए। तिनीहरूले भने, “हे गुरु, तपाईं इमानदार मानिस हुनुहुन्छ भनी हामी जान्दछौँ, र तपाईंले साँचो गरी परमेश्वरका मार्ग सिकाउनुहुन्छ। तपाईं मानिसहरूद्वारा बहकाइनुहुन्न; किनकि तिनीहरू को हुन् भनी तपाईं ध्यान दिनुहुन्न।
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 तब हामीलाई तपाईंको विचार भन्नुहोस्। सिजरलाई कर तिर्नु उचित छ कि छैन?”
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 येशूले तिनीहरूका दुष्ट अभिप्राय जानेर भन्नुभयो, “ए कपटीहरू हो, किन मलाई फसाउने कोसिस गर्दैछौ?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 कर तिर्दा प्रयोग गरिने सिक्का मलाई देखाओ।” तिनीहरूले उहाँकहाँ एउटा दिनार ल्याए।
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 अनि उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई सोध्नुभयो, “यो चित्र कसको हो? र यो छाप कसको हो?”
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 “सिजरको,” तिनीहरूले जवाफ दिए।
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 जब तिनीहरूले यो सुने, तिनीहरू छक्क परे, र उहाँलाई छोडेर गइहाले।
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 त्यही दिन पुनरुत्थान हुँदैन भन्ने सदुकीहरू उहाँकहाँ एउटा प्रश्न लिएर आए।

24 तिनीहरूले भने, “हे गुरु, मोशाले हामीलाई भनेका थिए, यदि कुनै मानिस बालबच्चा नभईकन मर्यो भने उसको भाइले त्यस विधवालाई विवाह गरेर उसका लागि बालबच्चा जन्माउनुपर्छ।
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 अब हाम्रो बीचमा सात भाइहरू थिए। पहिलोले विवाह गर्यो, तर ऊ मर्यो; अनि उसका बालबच्चा नभएकोले उसले आफ्नी पत्नीलाई भाइका निम्ति छोड्नुपर्यो।
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 त्यही घटना दोस्रो भाइसित, तेस्रो भाइसित र सातौँसम्म नै घट्यो।
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 अन्त्यमा त्यो स्त्री पनि मरी।
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 अब पुनरुत्थानमा त्यो स्त्री सात जनामध्ये कसकी पत्नी हुनेछे? किनकि त्यसको विवाह ती सबैसँग भएको थियो।”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 येशूले जवाफ दिनुभयो, “तिमीहरू धर्मशास्त्र अथवा परमेश्वरको शक्तिलाई नजानेकाले भ्रममा परेका छौ।
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 पुनरुत्थानमा मानिसहरू न विवाह गर्छन्, न त विवाहमा दिइन्छन्: तिनीहरू स्वर्गमा भएका दूतहरूजस्ता हुनेछन्।
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 तर मरेकाहरूको पुनरुत्थानको विषयमा परमेश्वरले तिमीहरूलाई के भन्नुभएको छ, के तिमीहरूले पढेका छैनौ?
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 ‘म अब्राहामका परमेश्वर, इसहाकका परमेश्वर, र याकोबका परमेश्वर हुँ।’ उहाँ मरेकाहरूका परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्न, तर जीवितहरूका परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ।”
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 जब भीडहरूले यो सुने, तिनीहरू उहाँका शिक्षामा छक्क परे।
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 येशूले सदुकीहरूलाई चुप पार्नुभयो भन्ने सुनेर फरिसीहरू एकसाथ भेला भए।
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 तीमध्ये एक जना व्यवस्थाका विशेषज्ञले यो प्रश्न गरेर उहाँलाई जाँच गरे:
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 “हे गुरु, व्यवस्थामा सबैभन्दा महान् आज्ञा कुनचाहिँ हो?”
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 येशूले जवाफ दिनुभयो: “ ‘परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वरलाई तिमीहरूका सम्पूर्ण हृदयले, सम्पूर्ण प्राणले, र सम्पूर्ण मनले प्रेम गर।’
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 यही नै पहिलो र सबैभन्दा महान् आज्ञा हो।
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 अनि दोस्रो पनि उत्तिकै महत्त्वपूर्ण छ: ‘तिमीहरूले आफ्ना छिमेकीलाई आफैँलाई जस्तै प्रेम गर।’
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 सबै व्यवस्था र अगमवक्ताहरू यी दुई आज्ञाहरूमा नै आधारित छन्।”
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 फरिसीहरू एकसाथ भेला भएका बेलामा येशूले तिनीहरूलाई सोध्नुभयो,
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 “तिमीहरू ख्रीष्टको विषयमा के विचार गर्छौ? उनी कसका पुत्र हुन्?”
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “त्यसो भए दावीदले आत्माद्वारा बोल्दैगर्दा उहाँलाई कसरी ‘प्रभु’ भने? किनकि तिनी भन्छन्,
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 “ ‘परमप्रभुले मेरा प्रभुलाई भन्नुभयो:
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 यदि दावीदले उहाँलाई ‘प्रभु’ भन्छन् भने कसरी उहाँ तिनका पुत्र हुन सक्छन्?”
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 यसको जवाफमा कसैले एक शब्द पनि भन्न सकेन। त्यस दिनदेखि कसैले पनि उहाँलाई अरू प्रश्न सोध्ने आँट गरेन।
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
