¹ A Song. A Psalm by the sons of Korah.Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised,in the city of our God, in his holy mountain.

¹ Grande é o SENHOR e mui digno de louvor, na cidade do nosso Deus, no seu monte santo.

² Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth,is Mount Zion, on the north sides,the city of the great King.

² Formoso de sítio, e alegria de toda a terra é o monte Sião sobre os lados do norte, a cidade do grande Rei.

³ God has shown himself in her citadels as a refuge.

³ Deus é conhecido nos seus palácios por um alto refúgio.

⁴ For, behold, the kings assembled themselves,they passed by together.

⁴ Porque eis que os reis se ajuntaram; eles passaram juntos.

⁵ They saw it, then they were amazed.They were dismayed.They hurried away.

⁵ Viram-no e ficaram maravilhados; ficaram assombrados e se apressaram em fugir.

⁶ Trembling took hold of them there,pain, as of a woman in travail.

⁷ With the east wind, you break the ships of Tarshish.

⁸ As we have heard, so we have seen,in the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God.God will establish it forever.Selah.

⁸ Como o ouvimos, assim o vimos na cidade do Senhor dos Exércitos, na cidade do nosso Deus. Deus a confirmará para sempre. (Selá.)

⁹ We have thought about your loving kindness, God,in the midst of your temple.

⁹ Lembramo-nos, ó Deus, da tua benignidade, no meio do teu templo.

¹⁰ As is your name, God,so is your praise to the ends of the earth.Your right hand is full of righteousness.

¹⁰ Segundo é o teu nome, ó Deus, assim é o teu louvor, até aos fins da terra; a tua mão direita está cheia de justiça.

¹¹ Let Mount Zion be glad!Let the daughters of Judah rejoice,Because of your judgments.

¹¹ Alegre-se o monte de Sião; alegrem-se as filhas de Judá por causa dos teus juízos.

¹² Walk about Zion, and go around her.Number its towers.

¹² Rodeai Sião, e cercai-a, contai as suas torres.

¹³ Consider her defenses.Consider her palaces,that you may tell it to the next generation.

¹³ Marcai bem os seus antemuros, considerai os seus palácios, para que o conteis à geração seguinte.

¹⁴ For this God is our God forever and ever.He will be our guide even to death.

¹⁴ Porque este Deus é o nosso Deus para sempre; ele será nosso guia até à morte.
