1 Bendirei ao Senhor em todo o tempo; o seu louvor estará continuamente na minha boca.
2 My soul shall boast in the Lord.The humble shall hear of it, and be glad.GIMEL
2 No Senhor se gloria a minha alma; ouçam-no os mansos e se alegrem.
3 Oh magnify the Lord with me.Let us exalt his name together.DALET
3 Engrandeci ao Senhor comigo, e juntos exaltemos o seu nome.
4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me,and delivered me from all my fears.HEY
4 Busquei ao Senhor, e ele me respondeu, e de todos os meus temores me livrou.
5 They looked to him, and were radiant.VAVTheir faces shall never be covered with shame.ZAYIN
5 Olhai para ele, e sede iluminados; e os vossos rostos jamais serão confundidos.
6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him,and saved him out of all his troubles.HET
6 Clamou este pobre, e o Senhor o ouviu, e o livrou de todas as suas angústias.
7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him,and delivers them.TET
7 O anjo do Senhor acampa-se ao redor dos que o temem, e os livra.
8 Oh taste and see that the Lord is good.Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.YOD
8 Provai, e vede que o Senhor é bom; bem-aventurado o homem que nele se refugia.
9 Oh fear the Lord, you his holy ones,for there is no lack with those who fear him.KAPH
9 Temei ao Senhor, vós, seus santos, porque nada falta aos que o temem.
10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger,but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.LAMED
10 Os leõezinhos necessitam e sofrem fome, mas àqueles que buscam ao Senhor, bem algum lhes faltará.
11 Come, you children, listen to me.I will teach you the fear of the Lord.MEM
11 Vinde, filhos, ouvi-me; eu vos ensinarei o temor do Senhor.
12 Who is someone who desires life,and loves many days, that he may see good?NUN
12 Quem é o homem que deseja a vida, e quer longos dias para ver o bem?
13 Keep your tongue from evil,and your lips from speaking lies.SAMEKH
13 Guarda a tua língua do mal, e os teus lábios de falarem dolosamente.
14 Depart from evil, and do good.Seek peace, and pursue it.AYIN
14 Aparta-te do mal, e faze o bem: busca a paz, e segue-a.
15 The Lord's eyes are toward the righteous.His ears listen to their cry.PEY
15 Os olhos do Senhor estão sobre os justos, e os seus ouvidos atentos ao seu clamor.
16 The Lord's face is against those who do evil,to cut off the memory of them from the earth.TZADE
16 A face do Senhor está contra os que fazem o mal, para desarraigar da terra a memória deles.
17 They cried, and the Lord hears,and delivers them out of all their troubles.QOPH
17 Os justos clama, e o Senhor os ouve, e os livra de todas as suas angústias.
18 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart,and saves those who have a crushed spirit.RESH
18 Perto está o Senhor dos que têm o coração quebrantado, e salva os contritos de espírito.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,but the Lord delivers him out of them all.SHIN
19 Muitas são as aflições do justo, mas de todas elas o Senhor o livra.
20 He protects all of his bones.Not one of them is broken.TAV
20 Ele lhe preserva todos os ossos; nem sequer um deles se quebra.
21 Evil shall kill the wicked.Those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.
21 A malícia matará o ímpio, e os que odeiam o justo serão condenados.
22 The Lord redeems the soul of his servants.None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned.
22 O Senhor resgata a alma dos seus servos, e nenhum dos que nele se refugiam será condenado.
