1 Praise Yah,for it is good to sing praises to our God;for it is pleasant and fitting to praise him.
1 Louvai ao SENHOR pois é bom cantar louvores ao nosso Deus; pois isso é prazeroso, e o louvor é agradável.
2 The Lord builds up Jerusalem.He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.
2 O SENHOR edifica a Jerusalém, ele ajunta os exilados de Israel.
3 He heals the broken in heart,and binds up their wounds.
3 Ele sara os quebrantados de coração, e lhes ata as suas feridas.
4 He counts the number of the stars.He calls them all by their names.
4 Ele conta o número das estrelas, chama-as a todas pelos seus nomes.
5 Great is our Lord, and mighty in power.His understanding is infinite.
5 Grande é o nosso Senhor, e de grande poder; o seu entendimento é infinito.
6 The Lord upholds the humble.He brings the wicked down to the ground.
6 O SENHOR eleva os humildes; ele lança os perversos ao chão.
7 Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving.Sing praises on the harp to our God,
7 Cantai ao SENHOR com ação de graças; cantai louvores sobre a harpa ao nosso Deus.
8 who covers the sky with clouds,who prepares rain for the earth,who makes grass grow on the mountains.
8 Que cobre o céu com as nuvens, que prepara a chuva para a terra, que faz a grama crescer sobre os montes.
9 He provides food for the livestock,and for the young ravens when they call.
9 Ele dá aos animais da sua comida, e aos corvos jovens que clamam.
10 He doesn't delight in the strength of the horse.He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.
10 Ele não se deleita na força do cavalo; não tem prazer nas pernas do homem.
11 The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him,in those who hope in his loving kindness.
11 O SENHOR tem prazer naqueles que o temem, naqueles que esperam na sua misericórdia.
12 Praise the Lord, Jerusalem!Praise your God, Zion!
12 Louva ao SENHOR, ó Jerusalém; louva ao teu Deus, ó Sião.
13 For he has strengthened the bars of your gates.He has blessed your children within you.
13 Pois ele fortaleceu as barras dos teus portões; ele abençoou aos teus filhos dentro de ti.
14 He makes peace in your borders.He fills you with the finest of the wheat.
14 Ele pacifica em tuas fronteiras, e te preenche com o mais fino trigo.
15 He sends out his commandment to the earth.His word runs very swiftly.
15 Ele envia o seu mandamento sobre a terra; a sua palavra corre velozmente.
16 He gives snow like wool,and scatters frost like ashes.
16 Ele dá a neve como lã; ele espalha a geada como cinza.
17 He hurls down his hail like pebbles.Who can stand before his cold?
17 Ele lança seu gelo como pedaços; quem pode suportar diante do seu frio?
18 He sends out his word, and melts them.He causes his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
18 Ele envia a sua palavra, e os derrete; faz o seu vento soprar, e as águas fluírem.
19 He shows his word to Jacob;his statutes and his ordinances to Israel.
19 Mostra a sua palavra a Jacó, os seus estatutos e os seus juízos a Israel.
20 He has not done this for just any nation.They do not know his ordinances.Praise Yah!
20 Ele não fez assim a nenhuma outra nação; e quanto aos seus juízos, eles não os conheceram. Louvai ao SENHOR.
