1 Aleluia! Louvem, ó servos do Senhor, louvem o nome do Senhor!
2 Blessed be the name of the Lord,from this time forth and forevermore.
2 Seja bendito o nome do Senhor, desde agora e para sempre!
3 From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same,The Lord's name is to be praised.
3 Do nascente ao poente, seja louvado o nome do Senhor!
4 The Lord is high above all nations,his glory above the heavens.
4 O Senhor está exaltado acima de todas as nações; e acima dos céus está a sua glória.
5 Who is like the Lord, our God,who has his seat on high,
5 Quem é como o Senhor, o nosso Deus, que reina em seu trono nas alturas,
6 Who stoops down to see in heaven and in the earth?
6 mas se inclina para contemplar o que acontece nos céus e na terra?
7 He raises up the poor out of the dust.Lifts up the needy from the ash heap;
7 Ele levanta do pó o necessitado e ergue do lixo o pobre,
8 that he may set him with princes,even with the princes of his people.
8 para fazê-los sentar-se com príncipes, com os príncipes do seu povo.
9 He settles the barren woman in her home,as a joyful mother of children.Praise Yah!
9 Dá um lar à estéril, e dela faz uma feliz mãe de filhos. Aleluia!
