¹ A Psalm by David.The Lord says to my Lord, "Sit at my right hand,until I make your enemies your footstool for your feet."

¹ Disse o Senhor ao meu senhor: Assenta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha os teus inimigos debaixo dos teus pés.

² The Lord will send forth the rod of your strength out of Zion.Rule in the midst of your enemies.

² O Senhor enviará de Sião o cetro do seu poder, dizendo: Domina entre os teus inimigos.

³ Your people offer themselves willingly in the day of your power, in holy array.Out of the womb of the morning, you have the dew of your youth.

³ Apresentar-se-á voluntariamente o teu povo, no dia do teu poder; com santos ornamentos, como o orvalho emergindo da aurora, serão os teus jovens.

⁴ The Lord has sworn, and will not change his mind:"You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek."

⁴ O Senhor jurou e não se arrependerá: Tu és sacerdote para sempre, segundo a ordem de Melquisedeque.

⁵ The Lord is at your right hand.He will crush kings in the day of his wrath.

⁵ O Senhor, à tua direita, no dia da sua ira, esmagará os reis.

⁶ He will judge among the nations.He will heap up dead bodies.He will crush the ruler of the whole earth.

⁶ Ele julga entre as nações; enche-as de cadáveres; esmagará cabeças por toda a terra.

⁷ He will drink of the brook in the way;therefore he will lift up his head.

⁷ De caminho, bebe na torrente e passa de cabeça erguida.
