Isaías 52

1 Awake, awake, put on your strength, Zion; put on your beautiful garments, Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into you the uncircumcised and the unclean.
1 Desperta, desperta, veste-te de poder, ó Sião. Veste tuas lindas vestes, ó Jerusalém, a cidade santa. Porque daqui em diante não mais haverá de entrar em ti o incircunciso e o impuro.
2 Shake yourself from the dust! Arise, sit up, Jerusalem! Release yourself from the bonds of your neck, captive daughter of Zion!
2 Sacode-te a ti mesmo do pó. Sobe e assenta-te, ó Jerusalém. Afrouxa por ti mesma os grilhões do teu pescoço, ó cativa filha de Sião.
3 For thus says the Lord, "You were sold for nothing; and you shall be redeemed without money."
3 Porque assim diz o SENHOR: Vós tendes vos vendido por nada, e sereis redimidos sem dinheiro.
4 For thus says the Lord God, "My people went down at the first into Egypt to live there: and the Assyrian has oppressed them without cause.
4 Porque assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Meu povo desceu antigamente em direção ao Egito, para estada temporária lá, e os assírios os oprimiram sem causa.
5 "Now therefore, what do I do here," says the Lord, "seeing that my people are taken away for nothing? Those who rule over them mock," says the Lord, "and my name continually all the day is blasphemed.
5 Agora, portanto, o que tenho eu aqui, diz o SENHOR, para meu povo ser levado por nada? Aqueles que os governam os fazem gemer, diz o SENHOR, e meu nome continuamente, todo dia, é blasfemado.
6 Therefore my people shall know my name. Therefore they shall know in that day that I am he who speaks; behold, it is I."
6 Portanto, meu povo saberá meu nome. Portanto, eles saberão naquele dia que Eu Sou aquele que fala: Eis que nisto Eu estou.
7 How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of good, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, "Your God reigns!"
7 Como lindos sobre os montes são os pés daquele que traz boas novas, que anuncia paz, que traz boas novas do bem, que anuncia salvação, que diz a Sião: Teu Deus reina!
8 The voice of your watchmen! they lift up the voice, together do they sing; for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord returns to Zion.
8 Tuas sentinelas erguerão a voz; com a voz juntamente elas cantarão, porque elas verão olho a olho, quando o SENHOR trouxer novamente Sião.
9 Break forth into joy, sing together, you waste places of Jerusalem; for the Lord has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem.
9 Irrompei em alegria, cantai juntamente, vós, lugares abandonados de Jerusalém, porque o SENHOR tem confortado o seu povo, ele tem redimido Jerusalém.
10 The Lord has made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
10 O SENHOR tem desnudado seu santo braço aos olhos de todas as nações, e todos os confins da terra verão a salvação proveniente de nosso Deus.
11 Depart, depart, go out from there, touch no unclean thing! Go out of the midst of her! Cleanse yourselves, you who bear the vessels of the Lord.
11 Parti vós, parti vós, saí vós dali, não toqueis coisa impura. Saí vós do meio dela, estai vós limpos, os que carregam os vasos do SENHOR.
12 For you shall not go out in haste, neither shall you go by flight: for the Lord will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.
12 Porquanto, vós não saireis com pressa nem ireis fugindo, porque o SENHOR irá adiante de vós e o Deus de Israel será a vossa retaguarda.
13 Behold, my servant shall deal wisely, he shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high.
13 Eis que meu servo comportar-se-á prudentemente. Ele será exaltado e enaltecido e será muito elevado.
14 Just as many were astonished at you (his appearance was marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men),
14 Como muitos estavam espantados por causa de ti (seu semblante estava tão desfigurado, mais do que qualquer homem, e seu aspecto mais do que os filhos dos homens).
15 so shall he sprinkle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they understand.
15 Então, Ele irá aspergir muitas nações. Os reis irão fechar suas bocas perante Ele, porque aquilo que não tinha sido contado a eles, os mesmos verão, e, daquilo que eles não tinham ouvido, eles ponderarão a respeito.
