1 Xíní ñúhú jándacoo ndó tócó ndihi ña̱ núu cája ndó ta a̱ jándahvi ga̱ ndó ña̱yivi. Ndítahan cacuu ndó tá quia̱hva ndáa ndó ta a̱ cáhi̱hvi̱ ga̱ ini ndó ta a̱ cácuu ga̱ ndó ña̱yivi ndahndá yúhu̱.
1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Tá quia̱hva cája na̱ va̱lí ndúcú na̱ chi̱chí na̱ quia̱hva já ndítahan ndinducú ndó canda̱a̱ ini ndó tu̱hun Ndióxi̱ já ná cuu cuahnu ndó xi̱hi̱n á ña̱ ná jáca̱cu Ndióxi̱ ndo̱hó.
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 Tá ná caja ndó já jána̱ha̱ ndó ña̱ mé a̱ nda̱a̱ táhyí na̱canda̱a̱ ini ndó ña̱ va̱ha ndiva̱ha ini Ndióxi̱, xitoho í.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Cayati ndó nu̱ú Jesucristo, xitoho í jáchi̱ tácú va mé á ta cúú á tátu̱hun yu̱u̱ ndúhu̱ ña̱ na̱candají da̱ cáva̱ha vehe. Joo nu̱ Ndióxi̱ cúú Jesucristo tátu̱hun in yu̱ú va̱ha ndiva̱ha ña̱ na̱ca̱xi a.

5 Ta caja Ndióxi̱ xi̱hi̱n ndóhó ña̱ ná cacuu ndó tátu̱hun yu̱u̱ tácú ta cava̱ha Ndióxi̱ veñu̱hu mé á xi̱hín ndihi ndó. Ta sa̱ cúú ndó ju̱tu̱ yi̱i̱ nu̱ á. Ta sa̱há ña̱ na̱caja Jesucristo xi̱hi̱n ndó cuu jo̱co̱ ndó mé ndó caja ndó ña̱ cúni̱ mé cuití va jáchi̱ ña̱ ja̱n quéa̱ cáji̱i̱ ini Ndióxi̱ xi̱hi̱n.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Sa̱há ña̱ cán quéa̱ cáchí tu̱hun Ndióxi̱ tá cáha̱n sa̱há Jesús já cáchí a̱ já:
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Mé yu̱u̱ cáha̱n Ndióxi̱ sa̱ha̱ yóho cúú á Jesucristo ta ndíya̱hvi ndiva̱ha nu̱ mé ndó jáchi̱ cándeé ini ndó a̱. Joo na̱ co̱ cándeé ini Jesús na̱ cán cúú na̱ jáxi̱nu̱ nu̱ú tu̱hun Ndióxi̱ tá na̱cachi a já:
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Ta íin inga tucu nu̱ cáchí a̱ sa̱há Jesús:
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Joo mé ndó cúú ndó na̱ na̱ca̱xi Ndióxi̱ ña̱ ná nduu ndó na̱ vehe mé á. Ta na̱nduu ndó ju̱tu̱ cuéntá mé á ta mé á cúú á rey. Ta cúú ndó in táhndá cáhnu ña̱yivi yi̱i̱ ndáca̱a̱n ndó in ñuu ña̱ na̱ndiquehe Ndióxi̱ cacomí a̱ cuéntá sa̱ha̱. Ta na̱ca̱xi Ndióxi̱ ndóhó ña̱ ná ca̱ha̱n ndó xi̱hín ña̱yivi ndaja ndáa ña̱ náhnu cája Ndióxi̱. Mé a̱ na̱cana ndo̱hó tá na̱sa̱nduu ndó nu̱ú naá cán já ná quixi ndó nu̱ú ndató ndiva̱ha yéhe̱ nu̱ íin a.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Co̱ó na̱sa̱cuu toho ndó ña̱yivi cuéntá Ndióxi̱ jihna joo viti cúú ndó cuéntá mé á. Co̱ó na̱ta̱hvi̱ ini Ndióxi̱ sa̱ha̱ ndó jihna joo viti táhvi̱ ini a sa̱ha̱ ndo̱.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Cande̱hé ndo̱, ñani i̱. Xíca̱ ta̱hví i̱ nu̱ ndó, na̱ cúú tátu̱hun na̱ ndúu ñuu tóho̱ jáchi̱ indiví cúú ñuu ndó. Sa̱há ña̱ quíhvi̱ ini i̱ ndo̱hó sa̱há ña̱ cán quéa̱ xíca̱ i̱ ña̱ma̱ni̱ nu̱ ndo̱ ña̱ ná a̱ cája ndó ña̱ xíca̱ ini yiquí cu̱ñu ndó caja. Jáchi̱ cúú á tátu̱hun cani táhan yiquí cu̱ñu ndó xi̱hi̱n ínima̱ ndo̱.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Mé ndó ndúu ndó tañu ña̱yivi ñuyíví, na̱ co̱ xíca íchi̱ cuéntá Ndióxi̱. Xíní ñúhú caja va̱ha ndó já ná cuni na̱ ja̱n ndá quia̱hva cája ndó. Va̱tí viti cáha̱n núu na sa̱ha̱ ndo̱ ta cáchí na̱ ña̱ cúú ndó na̱ quini joo tá ná cuni na ña̱ va̱ha cája ndó já quéa̱ caja cáhnu na Ndióxi̱ tá ná xi̱nu̱ qui̱vi̱ caja vií mé á sa̱ha̱ tócó ndihi ña̱yivi.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Sa̱há ña̱ cája cáhnu ndó Jesucristo, xitoho í xíní ñúhú coo jo̱ho ndó nu̱ sáhndá na̱ jutixia ndúu ñuyíví yóho nu̱ ndo̱. Coo jo̱ho ndó nu̱ cáha̱n presidente, da̱ ndójo chuun cáhnu chága̱.

14 Ta coo jo̱ho ndó nu̱ sáhndá da̱ cúú gobernador jáchi̱ mé presidente cúú da̱ sáhndá chuun nu̱ú gobernador ña̱ ná caja vií da̱ sa̱há na̱ co̱ cája va̱ha. Ta ndítahan nu̱ dá ca̱ha̱n va̱ha da sa̱há na̱ cája va̱ha.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Cúni̱ Ndióxi̱ ña̱ ná caja va̱ha ndó. Já quéa̱ na̱ tóntó ji̱ni̱, na̱ co̱ xíca íchi̱ cuéntá Ndióxi̱ cuni na ña̱ va̱ha cája ndó já ná a̱ ñéhe̱ íní na̱ ca̱ha̱n núu na sa̱ha̱ ndo̱.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Va̱tí na̱ja̱ni̱ ndó ndáha̱ ley Moisés ña̱ na̱sa̱comí cuéntá sa̱ha̱ ndó jihna joo co̱ cúni̱ cachi a ña̱ núná nu̱ ndó caja ndó ndá cua̱chi cúni̱ ndo̱. Jáchi̱ xíní ñúhú ndicu̱hu̱n ini ndó ña̱ cúú ndó na̱ cája chúun cuéntá Ndióxi̱ viti.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Xíní ñúhú coo to̱ni ñúhú ndo̱ xi̱hi̱n tócó ndihi ña̱yivi. Ta ndítahan qui̱hvi̱ ini ndó na̱ cúú cuéntá Jesús. Ta ndítahan nu̱ ndó caja cáhnu ndó Ndióxi̱. Ta ndítahan coo to̱ni ñúhú ndó xi̱hín da̱ cómí chuun ñuyíví yóho.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Ndóhó, na̱ cómí xitoho cuéntá sa̱ha̱ xíní ñúhú caja ndó xi̱hín ndinuhu ini ndó ña̱ sáhndá xitoho ndó nu̱ ndo̱. Ta a̱ ndíñehe yúhu̱ ndó nu̱ ná. Co̱ó a̱ caja toho a á cúú ná ña̱yivi xíxi ini xi̱hi̱n ndo̱ á cúú ná na̱ quíhvi̱ ini ndo̱hó, na̱ co̱ jándoho na̱há ini ndó.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Sa̱ xíni̱ ndó ña̱ cúni̱ Ndióxi̱ caja ndó. Sa̱há ña̱ cán quéa̱ caja ndeé ini ndó tá cája xíxi na xi̱hi̱n ndó sa̱há in ña̱ha co̱ó na̱caja ndó. Jáchi̱ sa̱há ña̱ yóho caji̱i̱ ini Ndióxi̱ xi̱hi̱n ndó.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Va̱tí cája ndeé ini ndó tá ndóho ini ndó sa̱há cua̱chi na̱caja ndó, co̱ ñéhe̱ táhvi̱ toho ndó ña̱ma̱ni̱ nu̱ Ndióxi̱. Joo tá cája ndeé ini ndó tá ndóho ini ndó sa̱há ña̱ va̱ha cája ndó já quéa̱ cáji̱i̱ ini Ndióxi̱ xi̱hi̱n ndo̱.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Jáchi̱ sa̱há ña̱ yóho na̱cana mé á ndo̱hó. Ta na̱jána̱ha̱ Jesucristo ña̱ yóho nu̱ ndo̱ tá na̱ndoho ini mé á sa̱ha̱ ndo̱ va̱tí co̱ó na̱caja mé á cua̱chi. Ta ña̱ yóho cúú in quia̱hva na̱sacu a caja ndó.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Ni in túhún toho tañu co̱ó na̱caja mé á cua̱chi ta ni in túhún tañu co̱ó na̱jándahvi a ña̱yivi.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Tá na̱casáhá na̱ cána̱há quini na xi̱hi̱n á co̱ó na̱nducú ñehe mé á tu̱hun quini nu̱ na. Ta tá na̱jándoho na ini a co̱ó na̱sacu ini a caja núu a xi̱hín na̱ cán. Ña̱ na̱caja mé á quéa̱ na̱sacu ndihi a ña̱ ndáha̱ Ndióxi̱, mé a̱ cája vií nda̱a̱ sa̱ha̱ tócó ndihi ña̱ha.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Mé Jesucristo na̱ndicojo a cua̱chí ja̱tá yiquí cu̱ñu a cua̱ha̱n tá na̱xi̱hi̱ a̱ ndi̱ca crúxu̱. Ta cúú á tátu̱hun na̱xi̱hi̱ yó nu̱ú cua̱chí ña̱ ná cuu catacú cuéntá mé á tá ná caja í ña̱ va̱ha cuití va. Na̱jándicue̱he̱ na̱ Jesucristo ña̱ ná cuu ndiva̱ha mé ndó.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Jáchi̱ mé ndó na̱xi̱ca nuu ndó ñuyíví yóho tá quia̱hva xíca nuu in ndicachi, rí na̱ndiñúhú nu̱ú xitoho. Joo viti na̱ndicó co̱o ndó nu̱ Jesucristo ta mé a̱ cán ndáá a̱ ndo̱hó tá quia̱hva ndáá in da̱ta̱a ndicachi ja̱na̱ dá. Ta co̱ jándacoo ndáha̱ mé á ndo̱hó.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
