1 Zedekiah [was] twenty-one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
1 Zedequias tinha vinte e um anos de idade quando começou a reinar, e ele reinou onze anos em Jerusalém. E o nome de sua mãe era Hamutal, filha de Jeremias, de Libna.
2 And he did evil in the eyes of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
2 E ele fez aquilo que era mau aos olhos do SENHOR, conforme tudo que Jeoiaquim tinha feito.
3 For it was because of the anger of the LORD in Jerusalem and Judah (until He had cast them out from His presence) that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
3 Porquanto, por causa da ira do SENHOR, isto aconteceu em Jerusalém e em Judá, até ele os ter expelido de sua presença, e Zedequias rebelou-se contra o rei de Babilônia.
4 And it happened in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth [day] of the month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it and built forts against it all around.
4 E, aconteceu que, no nono ano de seu reinado, no décimo mês, no décimo dia do mês, veio Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia, veio, ele e todo seu exército, contra Jerusalém, e acamparam-se contra ela, e edificaram fortificações contra ela ao redor.
5 So the city was under attack until the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.
5 Então a cidade foi sitiada até o décimo primeiro ano do rei Zedequias.
6 And in the fourth month, in the ninth of the month, the famine was very grievous in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land.
6 E no quarto mês, no nono dia do mês, a fome era intensa na cidade, que não havia pão para o povo da terra.
7 And the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled and went forth out of the city by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which [was] by the king's garden. (And the Chaldeans lay around the city all around.) And they went by the way of the plain.
7 Então a cidade foi quebrada, e todos os homens de guerra fugiram, e saíram da cidade à noite pelo caminho do portão entre os dois muros, que estava próximo ao jardim do rei (agora os caldeus estavam próximos a cidade, por todo o lado) e eles foram pelo caminho da planície.
8 But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho. And all his army was scattered from him.
8 Porém o exército dos caldeus perseguiu o rei, e alcançaram Zedequias nas planícies de Jericó. E todo o seu exército foi disperso dele.
9 And they took the king and carried him up to the king of Babylon, to Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he gave judgments against him.
9 Então eles capturaram o rei, e o levaram até o rei de Babilônia, a Ribla, na terra de Hamate, onde ele emitiu sentença sobre ele.
10 And the king of Babylon killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes. He also killed all the rulers of Judah in Riblah.
10 E o rei de Babilônia matou os filhos de Zedequias perante os seus olhos. Ele também matou todos os príncipes de Judá, em Ribla.
11 And he blinded the eyes of Zedekiah. And the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death.
11 Então ele arrancou os olhos de Zedequias. E o rei de Babilônia o amarrou em correntes, e o levou para Babilônia, e o colocou na prisão até o dia da sua morte.
12 And in the fifth month, in the tenth of the month, which [was] the nineteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan, chief of the executioners, [who] served the king of Babylon, came into Jerusalem.
12 Ora, no quinto mês, no décimo dia do mês, que foi o décimo nono ano de Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia, Nebuzaradã, capitão da guarda, que serviu o rei de Babilônia, veio até Jerusalém.
13 And he burned the house of the LORD, and the king's house. And he burned with fire all the houses of Jerusalem, and all the houses of the great ones.
13 E queimou a casa do SENHOR, e a casa do rei, e todas as casas de Jerusalém, e todas as casas dos grandes homens ele as incendiou.
14 And all the army of the Chaldeans with the chief of the executioners broke down all Jerusalem's walls all around.
14 E todo o exército dos caldeus, que estava com o capitão da guarda, demoliram todos os muros de Jerusalém em redor.
15 And Nebuzaradan the chief of the executioners exiled [some] of the poor of the people, and the rest of the people who remained in the city, and those who fell away, who fell to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude.
15 Então, Nebuzaradã, o capitão da guarda, levou cativos alguns pobres dentre o povo, e o restante do povo que permaneceu na cidade, e aqueles que desertaram, que desertaram para o rei de Babilônia, e o restante da multidão.
16 But Nebuzaradan the chief of the executioners left [some] of the poor of the land for vinedressers and for farmers.
16 Porém, Nebuzaradã, o capitão da guarda, deixou alguns dos pobres da terra para vinhateiros e agricultores.
17 Also the Chaldeans broke the pillars of bronze that [were] in the house of the LORD, and the bases, and the bronze sea in the house of the LORD, and carried all the bronze of them to Babylon.
17 Também as colunas de bronze que estavam na casa do SENHOR, e as bases, e o mar de bronze que estava na casa do SENHOR, os caldeus quebraram, e levaram todo o bronze para Babilônia.
18 They also took away the pots, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and all the vessels of bronze with which they served.
18 Os caldeirões também, e as pás, e os apagadores de velas, e as bacias, e as colheres e todos os vasos de bronze com que eles ministravam, eles tomaram.
19 And the chief of the executioners took away the basins, and the firepans, and the bowls, and the pots, and the lampstands, and the spoons, and the cups; what [was] gold, [in] gold; and what [was] silver, [in] silver.
19 E o capitão da guarda tomou as bacias, e os braseiros, e as tigelas, e os caldeirões, e os castiçais, e as colheres, e as taças; aquilo que era de ouro, em ouro, e aquilo que era de prata, em prata.
20 the two pillars, one sea, and twelve bronze bulls that [were] under the bases, which king Solomon had made in the house of the LORD; the bronze of all these vessels was without weight.
20 As duas colunas, um mar, e doze bois de bronze que estavam sob as bases, os quais o rei Salomão tinha feito na casa do SENHOR; o bronze de todos estes vasos era de peso incalculável.
21 And the pillars, the height of one pillar was eighteen cubits. And a line of twelve cubits went around it, and the thickness of it [was] four fingers. [It was] hollow.
21 E, com relação às colunas, a altura de uma coluna era dezoito cúbitos. E uma tira de doze cúbitos a circundava. E a espessura desta era quatro dedos, esta era oca.
22 And a capital of bronze [was] on it. And the height of one capital [was] five cubits, with network and pomegranates on the capitals all around, all [of] bronze. The second pillar also, and the pomegranates, [were] like these.
22 E um capitel de bronze estava sobre ela, e a altura de um capitel era cinco cúbitos, com rede e romãs sobre os capitéis ao redor, tudo de bronze. Semelhante a esta era a segunda coluna, e as romãs.
23 And there were ninety-six pomegranates on a side; all the pomegranates on the network [were] a hundred all around.
23 E havia noventa e seis romãs sobre um lado, e todas as romãs sobre a rede eram cem em todas as direções ao redor.
24 And the chief of the executioners took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three doorkeepers.
24 E o capitão da guarda levou Seraías, o sumo sacerdote, e Sofonias, o segundo sacerdote, e os três guardiães da porta.
25 He also took out of the city a eunuch who was in charge of the men of war; and seven men from those who were near the king's person, who were found in the city; and the chief scribe of the army, who mustered the people of the land; and sixty men of the people of the land, who were found in the middle of the city.
25 Ele tomou também da cidade um eunuco, que tinha a responsabilidade sobre os homens de guerra, e sete daqueles homens que eram próximos à pessoa do rei, que foram encontrados na cidade, e o escriba mais importante do exército, que convocava o povo da terra, e sessenta homens do povo da terra, que foram encontrados no meio da cidade.
26 And Nebuzaradan the chief of the executioners took them and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah.
26 Então Nebuzaradã, o capitão da guarda, os tomou e os trouxe ao rei de Babilônia, a Ribla.
27 And the king of Babylon struck them and slaughtered them in Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was exiled out of his own land.
27 E o rei de Babilônia os feriu e os matou em Ribla, na terra de Hamate. Desta forma Judá foi levado cativo da sua própria terra.
28 This [is] the people whom Nebuchadnezzar exiled: in the seventh year, three thousand and twenty-three Jews;
28 Este é o povo a quem Nabucodonosor levou cativo: no sétimo ano três mil e vinte três judeus.
29 in the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar he exiled from Jerusalem eight hundred and thirty-two persons;
29 No décimo oitavo ano de Nabucodonosor ele levou cativos de Jerusalém oitocentas e trinta e duas pessoas.
30 in the twenty-third year of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuzaradan the chief of the executioners exiled seven hundred and forty-five persons of the Jews. All the persons [were] four thousand and six hundred.
30 No vigésimo terceiro ano de Nabucodonosor, Nebuzaradã, o capitão da guarda, levou cativos dos judeus setecentas e quarenta e cinco pessoas. Todas as pessoas foram quatro mil e seiscentas.
31 And it happened in the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the twenty-fifth of the month, Evil-merodach king of Babylon in the [first] year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him out from prison,
31 E, isto aconteceu no trigésimo sétimo ano do cativeiro de Jeoiaquim, rei de Judá, no duodécimo mês, no vigésimo quinto dia do mês, que Evil-Merodaque, rei de Babilônia, no primeiro ano de seu reinado, levantou a cabeça de Jeoiaquim, rei de Judá, e o trouxe para fora da prisão.
32 and spoke kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings who [were] with him in Babylon.
32 E falou-lhe bondosamente, e colocou seu trono acima do trono dos reis que estavam com ele em Babilônia.
33 And he changed his prison garments, and he ate bread before him all the days of his life.
33 E mudou suas vestes de prisão. E este comeu continuamente pão perante ele todos os dias de sua vida.
34 And his allowance in continual allowance was given him from the king of Babylon, the matter of a day in its day, until the day of his death, all the days of his life.
34 E para a sua alimentação, foi-lhe dada alimentação contínua pelo rei de Babilônia, cada dia uma porção até o dia de sua morte, todos os dias de sua vida.
