1 And it happened in the days of Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of nations,
1 E aconteceu nos dias de Anrafel, rei de Sinar, Arioque, rei de Elasar, Quedorlaomer, rei de Elão, e Tidal, rei de nações,
2 they made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar.
2 que estes fizeram guerra a Bera, rei de Sodoma, a Birsa, rei de Gomorra, a Sinabe, rei de Admá, e a Semeber, rei de Zeboim, e ao rei de Bela, que é Zoar.
3 All these were joined together in the valley of Siddim, which is the Salt Sea.
3 Todos estes foram reunidos no vale de Sidim, que é o mar de sal.
4 They served Chedorlaomer twelve years, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled.
4 Eles serviram doze anos a Quedorlaomer, e no décimo terceiro ano se rebelaram.
5 And in the fourteenth year Chedorlaomer and the kings that were with him came and struck the giants in Ashteroth Karnaim, and the Zuzim in Ham, and the Emim in Shaveh Kiriathaim,
5 E no décimo quarto ano veio Quedorlaomer, e os reis que estavam com ele, e feriram os refains em Asterote-Carnaim, e os zuzins em Hã, e os emins em Savé-Quiriataim,
6 and the Horites in their Mount Seir, as far as the oak of Paran, which is [by] the wilderness.
6 e os horeus no seu monte Seir, até El-Parã, que fica junto ao deserto.
7 And they returned, and came to Enmishpat, which is Kadesh, and struck all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites who lived in Hazazon-tamar.
7 E eles retornaram, e vieram a En-Mispate, que é Cades, e feriram toda a terra dos amalequitas, e também os amorreus, que habitavam em Hazazom-Tamar.
8 And the king of Sodom went out, and the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah, and the king of Zeboim, and the king of Bela (which [is] Zoar). And they joined battle with them in the valley of Siddim;
8 E saiu o rei de Sodoma, e o rei de Gomorra, e o rei de Admá, e o rei de Zeboim, e o rei de Bela (esta é Zoar) e se ajuntaram à batalha contra eles no vale de Sidim,
9 with Chedorlaomer the king of Elam, and with Tidal the king of nations, and Amraphel the king of Shinar, and Arioch the king of Ellasar, four kings with five.
9 contra Quedorlaomer, rei de Elão, e Tidal, rei das nações, e Anrafel, rei de Sinar, e Arioque, rei de Elasar; quatro reis contra cinco.
10 And the valley of Siddim [was] full of asphalt pits. And the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountain.
10 E o vale de Sidim estava cheio de poços de betume, e os reis de Sodoma e Gomorra fugiram, e caíram ali, e os restantes fugiram para o monte.
11 And they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their food, and went their way.
11 E eles tomaram todos os bens de Sodoma e Gomorra, e todos os seus mantimentos, e foram no seu caminho.
12 And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son, who lived in Sodom, and all his goods, and went away.
12 E eles tomaram Ló, filho do irmão de Abrão, que habitava em Sodoma, e os seus bens, e partiram.
13 And there came one who had escaped. And he told Abram the Hebrew, for he lived in the plains of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol and brother of Aner. And these had a covenant with Abram.
13 E veio um que havia escapado, e contou a Abrão, o hebreu, pois ele habitava na planície de Manre, o amorreu, irmão de Escol e irmão de Aner; e estes eram confederados de Abrão.
14 And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he led forth his trained servants, born in his own house (three hundred and eighteen) and pursued them to Dan.
14 E quando Abrão ouviu que o seu irmão foi levado cativo, ele armou os seus servos treinados, nascidos na sua própria casa, trezentos e dezoito, e os perseguiu até Dã.
15 And he divided himself against them by night, he and his servants. And he struck them, and pursued them to Hobah, which [is] on the left of Damascus.
15 E ele se dividiu contra eles, ele e seus servos, à noite, e os feriu e os perseguiu até Hobá, que está à esquerda de Damasco.
16 And he brought back all the goods, and also brought back his brother Lot and his goods, and the women also, and the people.

17 And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer and of the kings with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which [is] the king's valley.
17 E o rei de Sodoma saiu para encontrá-lo depois do seu retorno do massacre a Quedorlaomer e os reis que estavam com ele, no vale de Savé, que é o vale do rei.
18 And Melchizedek the king of Salem brought forth bread and wine. And he [was] the priest of the most high God.
18 E Melquisedeque, rei de Salém, trouxe pão e vinho, e ele era o sacerdote do Deus Altíssimo.
19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed [be] Abram of the most high God, possessor of Heaven and earth.
19 E ele o abençoou, e disse: Bendito seja Abrão do Deus Altíssimo, possuidor do céu e da terra.
20 And blessed [be] the most high God, who has delivered your enemies into your hand. And he gave him tithes of all.
20 E bendito seja o Deus Altíssimo, que entregou teus inimigos em tuas mãos. E lhe deu dízimos de tudo.
21 And the king of Sodom said to Abram, Give me the people and take the goods for yourself.
21 E o rei de Sodoma disse a Abrão: Dá-me as pessoas, e toma os bens para ti.
22 And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lifted up my hand to the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of Heaven and earth,
22 E Abrão disse ao rei de Sodoma: Eu levanto a minha mão ao SENHOR, o Deus Altíssimo, o possuidor do céu e da terra,
23 that I will take from all that is yours, [not] from a thread even to a shoestring, lest you say, I have made Abram rich.
23 que não tomarei nem um fio, nem a correia de uma sandália, e que não tomarei coisa alguma que é tua, para que não digas: Eu enriqueci a Abrão,
24 Nothing for me, only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men who went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.
24 salvo tão somente o que os jovens comeram, e a parte dos homens que foram comigo, Aner, Escol e Manre; que eles tomem a sua parte.
