Ezequiel 22

1 And the Word of the LORD came to me, saying,
1 Veio a mim a palavra do Senhor , dizendo:
2 And you, son of man, will you judge, will you judge the bloody city? And you shall make her know all her abominations.
2 Tu, pois, ó filho do homem, acaso, julgarás, julgarás a cidade sanguinária? Faze-lhe conhecer, pois, todas as suas abominações
3 And you shall say, So says the Lord Jehovah: The city sheds blood in her midst that her time may come, and makes idols against herself to defile [herself].
3 e dize: Assim diz o Senhor Deus: Ai da cidade que derrama sangue no meio de si, para que venha o seu tempo, e que faz ídolos contra si mesma, para se contaminar!
4 You are guilty in your blood that you have shed; and you have defiled yourself in your idols you have made. And your days [are] brought near, and have come to your years. Therefore I have made you a reproach to the nations, and a mocking to all lands.
4 Pelo teu sangue, por ti mesma derramado, tu te fizeste culpada e pelos teus ídolos, por ti mesma fabricados, tu te contaminaste e fizeste chegar o dia do teu julgamento e o término de teus anos; por isso, eu te fiz objeto de opróbrio das nações e de escárnio de todas as terras.
5 [Those who are] near and [those] far from you shall mock against you, O defiled of name, abounding in tumult.
5 As que estão perto de ti e as que estão longe escarnecerão de ti, ó infamada, cheia de inquietação.
6 Behold, the rulers of Israel, each man by his might, have been in you in order to shed blood.
6 Eis que os príncipes de Israel, cada um segundo o seu poder, nada mais intentam, senão derramar sangue.
7 In you they have despised father and mother. In your midst they have dealt with the stranger by oppression. In you they oppressed the orphan and the widow.
7 No meio de ti, desprezam o pai e a mãe, praticam extorsões contra o estrangeiro e são injustos para com o órfão e a viúva.
8 You have despised My holy things, and have profaned My sabbaths.
8 Desprezaste as minhas coisas santas e profanaste os meus sábados.
9 In you are men of slander to shed blood; and in you they eat on the mountains; in your midst they do unchaste acts.
9 Homens caluniadores se acham no meio de ti, para derramarem sangue; no meio de ti, comem carne sacrificada nos montes e cometem perversidade.
10 In you they have uncovered their fathers' nakedness; in you they have humbled her defiled by impurity.
10 No teu meio, descobrem a vergonha de seu pai e abusam da mulher no prazo da sua menstruação.
11 And a man has done abomination with his neighbor's wife; and a man has defiled his daughter-in-law in unchaste acts; and a man has humbled within you his sister, his father's daughter.
11 Um comete abominação com a mulher do seu próximo, outro contamina torpemente a sua nora, e outro humilha no meio de ti a sua irmã, filha de seu pai.
12 In you they have taken bribes to shed blood. You have taken usury and increase, and you gained by extortion of your neighbors, and you have forgotten Me, says the Lord Jehovah.
12 No meio de ti, aceitam subornos para se derramar sangue; usura e lucros tomaste, extorquindo-o; exploraste o teu próximo com extorsão; mas de mim te esqueceste, diz o Senhor Deus.
13 And behold, I have struck My palm against your unjust gain which you have made, and at your blood which has been in your midst.
13 Eis que bato as minhas palmas com furor contra a exploração que praticaste e por causa da tua culpa de sangue, que há no meio de ti. Estará firme o teu coração?
14 Can your heart stand, or can your hands be strong, in the day that I shall deal with you? I the LORD have spoken, and [I] will act.
14 Estarão fortes as tuas mãos, nos dias em que eu vier a tratar contigo? Eu, o Senhor , o disse e o farei.
15 And I will scatter you among the nations and disperse you in the lands, and will destroy your uncleanness out of you.
15 Espalhar-te-ei entre as nações, e te dispersarei em outras terras, e porei termo à tua imundícia.
16 And you will be profaned in you before the eyes of the nations, and you shall know that I [am] the LORD.
16 Serás profanada em ti mesma, à vista das nações, e saberás que eu sou o Senhor .
17 And the Word of the LORD came to me, saying,
17 Veio a mim a palavra do Senhor , dizendo:
18 Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to Me. All of them [are] bronze, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the middle of the furnace; they are even the dross of silver.
18 Filho do homem, a casa de Israel se tornou para mim em escória; todos eles são cobre, estanho, ferro e chumbo no meio do forno; em escória de prata se tornaram.
19 Therefore so says the Lord Jehovah: Because you have all become dross, behold, therefore I will gather you into the middle of Jerusalem.
19 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Deus: Pois que todos vós vos tornastes em escória, eis que vos ajuntarei no meio de Jerusalém.
20 [As they] gather silver, and bronze, and iron, and lead, and tin, into the middle of the furnace, to blow the fire on it to melt [it], so I will gather [you] in My anger and in My fury, and I will leave [you there] and melt you.
20 Como se ajuntam a prata, e o cobre, e o ferro, e o chumbo, e o estanho no meio do forno, para assoprar o fogo sobre eles, a fim de se fundirem, assim vos ajuntarei na minha ira e no meu furor, e ali vos deixarei, e fundirei.
21 And I will gather you and blow on you in the fire of My wrath, and you shall be melted in the middle of it.
21 Congregar-vos-ei e assoprarei sobre vós o fogo do meu furor; e sereis fundidos no meio de Jerusalém.
22 As silver is melted in the middle of the furnace, so you shall be melted in the middle of it; and you shall know that I the LORD have poured out My fury on you.
22 Como se funde a prata no meio do forno, assim sereis fundidos no meio dela; e sabereis que eu, o Senhor , derramei o meu furor sobre vós.
23 And the Word of the LORD came to me, saying,
23 Veio a mim a palavra do Senhor , dizendo:
24 Son of man, say to her: You [are] a land not being cleansed, nor rained on in the day of disgust.
24 Filho do homem, dize-lhe: Tu és terra que não está purificada e que não tem chuva no dia da indignação.
25 A plot [by] her prophets [is] in her midst, like a roaring lion tearing the prey. They have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they multiplied her many widows in her midst.
25 Conspiração dos seus profetas há no meio dela; como um leão que ruge, que arrebata a presa, assim eles devoram as almas; tesouros e coisas preciosas tomam, multiplicam as suas viúvas no meio dela.
26 Her priests have broken My law and have defiled My holy things. They have put no difference between the holy and the common, and have not taught between the unclean and the clean, and have hidden their eyes from My sabbaths, and I am defiled among them.
26 Os seus sacerdotes transgridem a minha lei e profanam as minhas coisas santas; entre o santo e o profano, não fazem diferença, nem discernem o imundo do limpo e dos meus sábados escondem os olhos; e, assim, sou profanado no meio deles.
27 Her rulers in her midst [are] like wolves tearing the prey, to shed blood and to destroy souls, to get unjust gain.
27 Os seus príncipes no meio dela são como lobos que arrebatam a presa para derramarem o sangue, para destruírem as almas e ganharem lucro desonesto.
28 And her prophets have daubed themselves [with] lime, seeing vanity and divining lies to them, saying, So says the Lord Jehovah; when the LORD has not spoken.
28 Os seus profetas lhes encobrem isto com cal por visões falsas, predizendo mentiras e dizendo: Assim diz o Senhor Deus, sem que o Senhor tenha falado.
29 The people of the land have used oppression and practiced robbery, and they have troubled the poor and needy. Yea, [they] have oppressed the stranger without right.
29 Contra o povo da terra praticam extorsão, andam roubando, fazem violência ao aflito e ao necessitado e ao estrangeiro oprimem sem razão.
30 And I sought for a man among them who should wall up a wall for the land, and stand in the break before me, that I should not destroy it. But I did not find one.
30 Busquei entre eles um homem que tapasse o muro e se colocasse na brecha perante mim, a favor desta terra, para que eu não a destruísse; mas a ninguém achei.
31 Therefore I have poured out My fury on them. I have burned them up with the fire of My wrath. I have given their way on their heads, says the Lord Jehovah.
31 Por isso, eu derramei sobre eles a minha indignação, com o fogo do meu furor os consumi; fiz cair-lhes sobre a cabeça o castigo do seu procedimento, diz o Senhor Deus.
