3 Chi ja jínī ndá nú jā vāha ndasí inī maá Jētohō ō.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Túsaá de mānī cā coo ndá nú jíín Jētohō ō Cristo. Chi cúu yā tá cúu iin yūū jā cánuú cā jā yítuu squínā templo, jā coo níí cání. De vísō nī squéne yichī nchivī yā, sochi Yāā Dios chi ja nī nacāji yā Cristo chi cánuú ndasí yā, tá cúu nūū nácāji ó iin yūū váha jā quituu squínā vehe.

5 De ndá máá nú chi cúu nú tá cúu iin iin yūū jā cúvāha templo Yāā Dios, de cutecū nū níí cání. 5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Chi súcuán cáhān tutū īī:
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 De ndá máá nú jā cándíja nú, chi yūū váha jā cánuú ndasí cúu yā nūū nū. De nūū nchivī jāá nduú cándíja chi nduú, chi sa quée ndaā jā cáhān tutū īī:
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 De suni quée ndaā tūhun jā cáhān tutū sīquī nchivī jāá nduú cándíja:
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 De ndá máá nú cúu nchivī jā ní nacāji Yāā Dios. De suni cúu ndá nú sūtū jā sáhá nú tiñu jā cúnī maá Yāā cúu Rey. De nchivī íyó ndoo cúu ndá nú, de nchivī maá yā cúu nú. Súcuán nī nsāhá Yāā Dios ndóhó tácua nacani nú tūhun nāsa ñáhnú ndasí tiñu sáhá yā, chi maá yā nī ncana ndá ndóhó tá nī ndeē nū modo nūū neē. De nī squívi yā ndá ndóhó nūū luz yā jā vāha ndasí stúu yā inī ánō nū.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Ñanī mánī, inī ñayīví yáhá cúu ndá nú tá cúu nchivī ñuū jīcá jā jíca tátū. Túsaá de cáhān ndāhví nī jíín ndá nú jā má sāhá nú ndācá tiñu néhén jā ndíyo inī nū jíín modo maá nú. Chi ndācá ñúcuán cánāá jíín nú, ndúcú jā tānū tāhvī ánō nū.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 De ndāā caca ndá nú māhñú nchivī jāá nduú jínī tūhun Yāā Dios. Chi vísō cáhān ji sīquī nū, tá cúu nūū cáhān ji sīquī nchivī jā sáhá tiñu néhén, sochi tá cunī ji tiñu váha jā sáhá ndá nú, de quīvī jā sāhá ndāā Yāā Dios tiñu de cāhān ji jā cúñáhnú ndasí yā.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Jā síquī maá Jētohō ō de cuetáhví nú nūū ndá tēe jā ndíso tíñú nūū nchivī. Cuetáhví nú nūū maá rey, chi tēe cúñáhnú cā cúu dē.
13 — ausente —
14 De cuetáhví nú nūū ndācá gobernador jā ní jani rey tácua sndóho dē nchivī jā sáhá tiñu néhén de cuetúhún dē nchivī jā sáhá tiñu váha.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Chi cúnī Yāā Dios jā sāhá nú tiñu váha, de súcuán sāhá nú jā ndá nchivī cánaā jāá nduú jícūhun inī, casī ji yuhú ji.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;

16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Coo respeto ndá nú nūū ndá nchivī. Cundáhví inī nū ndá hermano cándíja. Cundihvī inī nū jā má stíví nú nūū Yāā Dios. Coo yíñúhún nú nūū maá rey.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Chi iin jā váha cúu tú jéndeé inī iin tēe jā sndóho cāhá nchivī dē sīquī jā squíncuu dē nūū Yāā Dios.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Chi tú sndóho ndá ji ndóhó jā sáhá nú cuāchi, de ni iin mā cuétúhún ndóhó de tú jéndeé inī nū jíín jā ndóho nú. Sochi tú sndóho ji ndóhó jā sáhá nú tiñu váha, de tú jéndeé inī nū jíín, suu cúu jā váha jā jétahān inī Yāā Dios.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Chi jā ñúcuán cúu jā ní ncana yā ndá ndóhó. Chi suni maá Cristo nī ndoho yā jā síquī nū, de súcuán nī ncuu yā iin ejemplo nūū nū jā cundoho nú jēhē ndá táhán nú, de súcuán cuniquīn nū ichi yā.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 De maá yā nduú cuitī nā cuāchi ní nsáhá yā, de ni nduú cuitī nā tūhun stáhví ní ncáhān yā.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Tá nī ncāhān nāvāha nchivī nūū yā, de nduú ní nácahān nāvāha yā. De tá nī sndóho ji yā, de nduú ní ntétáhán yā jíín ji, chi sa nī nchihi yā maá yā ndahá Yāā Dios, Yāā sándaā vāha sīquī ndihi ñúcuán.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 De nī jiso maá Cristo cuāchi ó jíín yiqui cúñu yā tá nī jīhī yā yīcā cruz, tácua quee ó nūū cuáchi de caca ndaā ō. Chi nī ntacuēhé yā, de suu cúu jā ní nduvāha ndá nú jā ní nsāhá cuāchi nú.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Chi nī nsana ndá nú tá cúu tīcāchí, de mitan de ja nī ndicó cóo nú nī ndīvi nú ndahá Cristo, Yāā cúu pastor nū de jíto vāha yā ánō nū.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
