1 येशूंनी परत त्यांना दाखला सांगितला:
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 ते म्हणाले, “स्वर्गाचे राज्य, एका राजासारखे आहे ज्याने आपल्या मुलाच्या विवाह निमित्ताने मेजवानी तयार केली.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 ज्यांना आमंत्रित केले होते त्या सर्वांस मेजवानीसाठी यावे म्हणून राजाने दासांना त्यांच्याकडे पाठविले. पण त्यांनी मेजवानीस येण्याचे नाकारले.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 “तेव्हा त्याने आणखी काही दास पाठविले, ‘ज्यांना आमंत्रित केले आहे त्यांना सांगा की मी मेजवानी तयार केली आहे, माझे बैल आणि पुष्ट गुरे कापली आहेत आणि सर्वकाही तयार आहे. लग्नाच्या मेजवानीस या.’
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 “परंतु त्यांनी मुळीच लक्ष दिले नाही आणि एकजण आपल्या शेतावर, तर दुसरा आपल्या व्यापारासाठी निघून गेला.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 बाकीच्या आमंत्रितांनी तर राजाच्या दासांना पकडले, अपमानित वागणूक दिली आणि ठारही मारले.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 राजाला खूपच राग आला. त्याने आपले सैन्य पाठवून दासांना ठार करणार्यांचा नाश केला. त्यांची शहरे जाळून टाकली.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 “यानंतर राजा आपल्या दासांना म्हणाला, ‘लग्नाची मेजवानी तयार आहे, पण ज्यांना मी आमंत्रण दिले ते लोक या बहुमानास पात्र नाहीत.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 तेव्हा तुम्ही रस्त्यांच्या चौकामध्ये जा आणि तिथे जे दिसतील, त्यांना मेजवानीस घेऊन या.’
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 राजाच्या आज्ञेप्रमाणे दास बाहेर गेले आणि चांगले वाईट, असे जे कोणी त्यांना रस्त्यांत सापडले, त्या सर्वांना ते मेजवानीस घेऊन आले आणि मेजवानीचा कक्ष आमंत्रितांनी भरून गेला.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “राजा पाहुणे मंडळीस भेटावयास आला, त्यावेळी एक मनुष्य विवाहोत्सवाचा पोशाख न घालताच आलेला दिसला.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 राजाने त्या मनुष्याला विचारले, ‘मित्रा, लग्नाच्या पोषाखाशिवाय तू आत कसा आलास?’ तो मनुष्य स्तब्ध झाला.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 “मग राजा आपल्या नोकरास म्हणाला, ‘या मनुष्याचे हातपाय बांधा आणि त्याला बाहेरच्या अंधारात फेकून द्या. त्या ठिकाणी रडणे आणि दातखाणे चालेल.’
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 “कारण बोलावलेले पुष्कळ आहेत, पण निवडलेले थोडके आहेत.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 मग परूशी लोक बाहेर गेले आणि येशूंना त्यांच्या बोलण्यात कसे पकडावे यासंबंधी चर्चा केली.

16 त्यानुसार परूश्यांनी आपल्या काही शिष्यांना हेरोदी गटाच्या लोकांबरोबर येशूंकडे पाठविले व म्हणाले, “गुरुजी, तुम्ही प्रामाणिक व्यक्ती आहात, हे आम्हाला माहीत आहे. तुम्ही कोणाचे समर्थन करीत नाही, कोणाची पर्वा न करता खरेपणाने परमेश्वराचा मार्ग शिकविता आणि भेदभाव न करता, ते कोण आहेत याकडे लक्ष देत नाहीत.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 तर आता आम्हाला हे सांगा की, कैसराला कर देणे योग्य आहे की नाही?”
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 पण त्यांचा हेतू काय आहे हे येशूंनी ओळखले. “अहो, ढोंग्यांनो,” येशू म्हणाले, “मला सापळ्यात पाडू पाहता काय?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 कर भरण्यासाठी वापरलेले एक नाणे मला दाखवा.” आणि त्यांनी त्यांना दिनारचे एक नाणे दाखविले.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 येशूंनी त्यांना विचारले, “या नाण्यावर कोणाचा मुखवटा आणि कोणाचा लेख आहे?”
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 “कैसराचे!” त्यांनी उत्तर दिले.
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 त्यांच्या उत्तराने ते आश्चर्यचकित झाले आणि मग ते त्यांना सोडून निघून गेले.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 त्याच दिवशी, पुनरुत्थान नाही असे म्हणणारे सदूकी त्यांच्याकडे आले व प्रश्न करू लागले.

24 “गुरुजी, मोशेने आम्हाला सांगितले आहे की, एखादा मनुष्य, मूल न होता मरण पावला, तर त्याच्या भावाने त्याच्या विधवेशी लग्न करून त्याच्यासाठी संतती वाढवावी.
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 आता सात भाऊ होते. त्यातील पहिल्याने लग्न केले, पण एकही मूल न होता तो मरण पावला. तेव्हा त्याची विधवा त्याच्या धाकट्या भावाची पत्नी झाली.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 पण हीच गोष्ट दुसर्या व तिसर्या भावापासून सातव्या भावापर्यंत झाली.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 सर्वात शेवटी ती स्त्री मरण पावली.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 जेव्हा, पुनरुत्थान होईल तेव्हा ती कोणाची पत्नी होईल, कारण त्या सातही जणांनी तिच्याशी लग्न केले होते?”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 येशूंनी उत्तर दिले, “तुम्ही चुकत आहात, कारण ना तुम्ही धर्मशास्त्र जाणता, ना परमेश्वराचे सामर्थ्य ओळखता.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 पुनरुत्थानामध्ये लग्न करत नाही किंवा लग्न करूनही देत नाही; तर ते स्वर्गातील देवदूतांप्रमाणे असतील.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 पण आता मृतांच्या पुनरुत्थाना संदर्भात परमेश्वर तुमच्याशी काय बोलत आहे हे तुम्ही वाचले नाही काय?
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 ‘मी अब्राहामाचा परमेश्वर, इसहाकाचा परमेश्वर आणि याकोबाचा परमेश्वर आहे,’ तो मृतांचा परमेश्वर नसून जिवंतांचा आहे.”
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 सभोवार जमलेली गर्दी येशूंच्या उत्तरांनी विलक्षण प्रभावित झाली.
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 येशूंनी सदूकींना निरुत्तर केले, हे परूश्यांनी ऐकले, तेव्हा ते एकत्र जमले.
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 कोणी एक नियमशास्त्र तज्ञ आला व त्यांची परीक्षा पाहण्याकरिता त्यांना हा प्रश्न विचारला:
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 “गुरुजी, मोशेच्या नियमशास्त्रानुसार सर्वात मोठी आज्ञा कोणती आहे?”
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 येशूंनी उत्तर दिले, “ ‘प्रभू तुमचे परमेश्वर यांच्यावर तुमच्या पूर्ण हृदयाने आणि तुमच्या पूर्ण जिवाने आणि तुमच्या पूर्ण मनाने प्रीती करा.’
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 हीच सर्वात पहिली आणि महान आज्ञा आहे.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 यासारखीच दुसरी ही आहे: ‘जशी स्वतःवर तशी तुमच्या शेजार्यावर प्रीती करा.’
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 सर्व नियम आणि संदेष्ट्यांची शिकवण या दोन आज्ञांवरच आधारित आहे.”
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 एकदा परूशी लोक एकत्र गोळा झाले असताना, येशूंनी त्यांना विचारले,
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 “ख्रिस्ताबद्दल तुमचे काय म्हणणे आहे? तो कोणाचा पुत्र आहे?”
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 येशूंनी विचारले, “मग दावीद त्याला आत्म्याद्वारे ‘प्रभू,’ असे कसे म्हणतो?
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 “ ‘प्रभू माझ्या प्रभूला म्हणाले:
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 जर दावीद त्यांना ‘प्रभू’ म्हणतो, तर ते त्याचा पुत्र कसा असू शकेल?”
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 यावर त्यांना काही उत्तर देता येईना आणि तेव्हापासून कोणी त्यांना आणखी प्रश्न विचारावयास धजले नाहीत.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
