1 യേശു പിന്നെയും ഉപമകളിലൂടെ അവരോട് പ്രസ്താവിച്ചതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 സ്വർഗ്ഗരാജ്യം തന്റെ പുത്രന് വേണ്ടി കല്യാണസദ്യ ഒരുക്കിയ ഒരു രാജാവിനോടു സദൃശം.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 അവൻ കല്യാണത്തിന് ക്ഷണിച്ചവരെ വിളിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ദാസന്മാരെ പറഞ്ഞയച്ചു; അവർക്കോ വരുവാൻ മനസ്സായില്ല.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 പിന്നെയും അവൻ മറ്റു ദാസന്മാരെ അയച്ചു: എന്റെ വിരുന്ന് ഒരുക്കിത്തീർന്നു, എന്റെ കാളകളെയും തടിപ്പിച്ച മൃഗങ്ങളെയും അറുത്തു, എല്ലാം ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു; കല്യാണവിരുന്നിന് വരുവിൻ എന്നു ക്ഷണിച്ചവരോട് പറയിച്ചു.
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 എന്നാൽ അവർ അവന്റെ ക്ഷണം ഗൗരവമായി കൂട്ടാക്കിയില്ല ചിലർ തങ്ങളുടെ നിലങ്ങളിലേക്കും മറ്റുചിലർ തങ്ങളുടെ വ്യാപാരസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലേയ്ക്കും പൊയ്ക്കളഞ്ഞു.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 ശേഷമുള്ളവർ അവന്റെ ദാസന്മാരെ പിടിച്ച് അപമാനിച്ചു കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 രാജാവ് കോപിച്ചു സൈന്യങ്ങളെ അയച്ച് ആ കൊലപാതകന്മാരെ മുടിച്ചു അവരുടെ പട്ടണം ചുട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 പിന്നെ അവൻ ദാസന്മാരോട്: കല്യാണം ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ക്ഷണിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരോ യോഗ്യരായില്ല.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 ആകയാൽ പെരുവഴികൾ ചേരുന്ന ഇടങ്ങളിൽ ചെന്നു കാണുന്നവരെ ഒക്കെയും കല്യാണത്തിന് വിളിപ്പിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 ആ ദാസന്മാർ പെരുവഴികളിൽ പോയി, കണ്ട ദുഷ്ടന്മാരെയും നല്ലവരെയും എല്ലാം കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; കല്യാണശാല വിരുന്നുകാരെക്കൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞു.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 വിരുന്നുകാരെ നോക്കുവാൻ രാജാവ് അകത്തുവന്നപ്പോൾ കല്യാണവസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കാത്ത ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ അവിടെ കണ്ടു:
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 സ്നേഹിതാ, നീ കല്യാണവസ്ത്രം ഇല്ലാതെ ഇവിടെ അകത്തുവന്നത് എങ്ങനെ? എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. എന്നാൽ അവനു ഉത്തരം മുട്ടിപ്പോയി.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 രാജാവ് തന്റെ ദാസന്മാരോട്: ഇവനെ കയ്യും കാലും കെട്ടി ഏറ്റവും പുറത്തുള്ള ഇരുട്ടിൽ തള്ളിക്കളവിൻ; അവിടെ കരച്ചിലും പല്ലുകടിയും ഉണ്ടാകും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടവർ അനേകർ; തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടവരോ ചുരുക്കം.
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 അനന്തരം പരീശന്മാർ ചെന്നു യേശുവിനെ അവന്റെ തന്നെ വാക്കിൽ കുടുക്കേണ്ടതിന് ആലോചിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്

16 അവരുടെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരെ ഹെരോദ്യരോടുകൂടെ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചു. “ഗുരോ, നീ സത്യവാനും, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വഴി നേരായി പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നവനും, മനുഷ്യരുടെ മുഖം നോക്കാത്തവനും, ആരുടെയും അഭിപ്രായത്തിന് വിധേയനാകാത്തവനും, ആണ് എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നു.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 നിനക്കു എന്ത് തോന്നുന്നു? കൈസർക്ക് കരം കൊടുക്കുന്നത് വിഹിതമോ അല്ലയോ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞുതരേണം.
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 യേശു അവരുടെ ദുഷ്ടത അറിഞ്ഞിട്ട്: കപടഭക്തിക്കാരേ, എന്നെ പരീക്ഷിക്കുന്നത് എന്ത്?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 കരത്തിനുള്ള നാണയം കാണിക്കുവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അവർ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഒരു വെള്ളിക്കാശ് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 അവൻ അവരോട്: ഇതിലുള്ള പ്രതിച്ഛായയും മേലെഴുത്തും ആരുടേത് എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന് കൈസരുടേത് എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞു.
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 എന്നാൽ കൈസർക്കുള്ളത് കൈസർക്കും ദൈവത്തിനുള്ളത് ദൈവത്തിനും കൊടുക്കുവിൻ എന്നു അവൻ അവരോട് പറഞ്ഞു.
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 അവർ ഇത് കേട്ടു ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെട്ടു അവനെ വിട്ടുപൊയ്ക്കളഞ്ഞു.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 ആ ദിവസം പുനരുത്ഥാനം ഇല്ല എന്നു പറയുന്ന ചില സദൂക്യരും അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു:

24 “ഗുരോ, ഒരുവൻ മക്കൾ ഇല്ലാതെ മരിച്ചാൽ അവന്റെ സഹോദരൻ വിധവയായ സഹോദരഭാര്യയെ വിവാഹംകഴിച്ച് തന്റെ സഹോദരന് വേണ്ടി സന്തതിയെ ജനിപ്പിക്കേണം എന്നു മോശെ കല്പിച്ചുവല്ലോ.
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 എന്നാൽ ഒരിടത്ത് ഏഴു സഹോദരന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവരിൽ ഒന്നാമത്തവൻ വിവാഹം ചെയ്തശേഷം മരിച്ചു, സന്തതി ഇല്ലായ്കയാൽ തന്റെ ഭാര്യ സഹോദരന്റേതായിത്തീർന്നു.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 രണ്ടാമത്തവനും മൂന്നാമത്തവനും ഏഴാമത്തവൻ വരെയും അങ്ങനെ തന്നെ ചെയ്തു.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 എല്ലാവരും കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ട് ഒടുവിൽ സ്ത്രീയും മരിച്ചു.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 എന്നാൽ പുനരുത്ഥാനത്തിൽ അവൾ എഴുവരിൽ ആർക്ക് ഭാര്യയാകും? എല്ലാവർക്കും അവൾ ഭാര്യ ആയിരുന്നുവല്ലോ“ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 അതിന് യേശു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞത്: നിങ്ങൾ തിരുവെഴുത്തുകളെയും ദൈവശക്തിയെയും അറിയാത്തതുകൊണ്ട് തെറ്റിപ്പോകുന്നു.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 പുനരുത്ഥാനത്തിൽ അവർ വിവാഹം കഴിക്കുന്നില്ല, വിവാഹത്തിന് കൊടുക്കപ്പെടുന്നതുമില്ല; സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലെ ദൂതന്മാരെപ്പോലെ അത്രേ ആകുന്നത്.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 മരിച്ചവരുടെ പുനരുത്ഥാനത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത് നിങ്ങൾ വായിച്ചിട്ടില്ലയോ?
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 ഞാൻ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ ദൈവവും യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്റെ ദൈവവും യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവവും ആകുന്നു എന്നു അവൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; എന്നാൽ അവൻ മരിച്ചവരുടെ ദൈവമല്ല, മറിച്ച് ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദൈവമത്രേ.
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 പുരുഷാരം ഇതു കേട്ടിട്ടു അവന്റെ ഉപദേശത്തിൽ വിസ്മയിച്ചു.
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 സദൂക്യരെ അവൻ നിശബ്ദരാക്കിയെന്ന് കേട്ടിട്ടു പരീശന്മാർ ഒന്നിച്ച് കൂടി,
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 അവരിൽ നിയമപണ്ഡിതനായ ഒരുവൻ:
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 “ഗുരോ, ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ ഏറ്റവും മഹത്തരമായ കല്പന ഏത്?“ എന്നു യേശുവിനെ പരീക്ഷിച്ച് ചോദിച്ചു.
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 യേശു അവനോട്: നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ കർത്താവിനെ നീ പൂർണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടും പൂർണ്ണാത്മാവോടും പൂർണ്ണ മനസ്സോടുംകൂടെ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം.
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 ഇത് മഹത്തരവും, ഒന്നാമത്തേതുമായ കല്പന
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 രണ്ടാമത്തേതും അതിനോട് സമം: കൂട്ടുകാരനെ നിന്നെപ്പോലെ തന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം.
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 ഈ രണ്ടു കല്പനകളിൽ സകല ന്യായപ്രമാണവും പ്രവാചകന്മാരും അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 പരീശന്മാർ ഒരുമിച്ചു കൂടിയിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ യേശു അവരോട്:
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 ക്രിസ്തുവിനെക്കുറിച്ച് നിങ്ങൾക്ക് എന്ത് തോന്നുന്നു? അവൻ ആരുടെ പുത്രൻ? എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു; “ദാവീദിന്റെ പുത്രൻ“ എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞു.
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 അവൻ അവരോട്: എന്നാൽ ദാവീദ് ആത്മാവിൽ അവനെ കർത്താവ് എന്നു വിളിക്കുന്നത് എങ്ങനെ?
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 “ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ നിന്റെ പാദപീഠം ആക്കുവോളം
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 ദാവീദ് അവനെ കർത്താവ് എന്നു പറയുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 അവനോട് ഉത്തരം പറവാൻ ആർക്കും കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല; അന്നുമുതൽ ആരും അവനോട് ഒന്നും ചോദിപ്പാൻ ധൈര്യപ്പെട്ടില്ല.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
