1 And I again lifted up my eyes, and looked, and behold, there came out four chariots from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of copper.
1 Quando me virei, levantei os meus olhos, e olhei, e eis que saíam quatro carruagens de entre dois montes; e os montes eram montes de bronze.
2 In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot, black horses:
2 Na primeira carruagem havia cavalos vermelhos, e na segunda carruagem, cavalos pretos;
3 And in the third chariot, white horses; and in the fourth chariot, grizzled, ash–colored horses.
3 e na terceira carruagem, cavalos brancos; e na quarta carruagem, cavalos malhados e baios.
4 And I began and said unto the angel that spoke with me, What are these, my lord?
4 Então eu respondi e disse ao anjo que falava comigo: O que é isto, meu senhor?
5 And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth after having stood before the Lord of all the earth.
5 E o anjo respondeu e disse-me: Estes são os quatro espíritos dos céus, que saem de onde estavam perante o Senhor de toda a terra.
6 The chariot on which are black horses––these go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grizzled go forth toward the south country.
6 Os cavalos pretos que estão lá saem para a terra do norte; e os brancos saem atrás deles, e os malhados saem para a terra do sul.
7 And the red–colored were gone forth, and sought to traverse the earth: and he said, Go, traverse the earth. So they traversed the earth.
7 E os baios saíram adiante, e procuraram ir de modo a percorrer a terra de um canto a outro. E ele disse: Ide pois, percorrei a terra de um canto a outro. Então eles percorreram a terra de um canto a outro.
8 Then cried he loudly unto me, and spoke unto me, saying, Behold, these that are going toward the north country, have quieted the indignation of my spirit in the north country.
8 Então ele me chamou, e falou-me, dizendo: Eis que esses que vão para a terra do norte fizeram repousar o meu Espírito na terra do norte.
9 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
9 E a palavra do SENHOR veio a mim, dizendo:
10 Take from the exiles, from Cheldai, from Tobiyahu, and from Yeda’yah, and thou shalt come on the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephanyah, whither they have arrived from Babylon;
10 Toma daqueles do cativeiro, até de Heldai, de Tobias e de Jedaías, que vieram de Babilônia, e vem tu no mesmo dia, e entra na casa de Josias, filho de Sofonias;
11 Take also silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua, the son of Jehozadak the high priest;
11 então toma prata e ouro, e faze coroas, e coloca-as sobre a cabeça de Josué, filho de Jozadaque, e sumo sacerdote;
12 And thou shalt say unto him as followeth, Thus hath said the Lord of hosts, saying, Behold a man, Sprout is his name; since out of his own place shall he sprout up, even he shall build the temple of the Lord:
12 e fala-lhe, dizendo: Assim diz o SENHOR dos Exércitos: Eis aqui o homem cujo nome é O Renovo: Ele crescerá do seu lugar, e edificará o templo do SENHOR.
13 Yea, he shall build the temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and a priest shall be upon his own throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between both of them.
13 Ele mesmo edificará o templo do SENHOR, e levará a glória; ele se assentará e governará sobre o seu trono; ele será sacerdote sobre o seu trono, e haverá conselho de paz entre os dois.
14 And the crowns shall be for Chelem, and for Tobiyah, and for Yeda’yah, and for Chen the son of Zephanyah, as a memorial in the temple of the Lord.
14 E as coroas serão para Helém, e para Tobias, e para Jedaías, e para Hem, filho de Sofonias, como um memorial no templo do SENHOR.
15 And distant ones shall come and build on the temple of the Lord, and ye shall know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord your God.
15 E aqueles que estão longe virão, e edificarão no templo do SENHOR, e vós sabereis que o SENHOR dos Exércitos me enviou a vós. E isto só acontecerá, se diligentemente obedecerdes a voz do SENHOR vosso Deus.
