Leeser Old Testament (LEESER) vs ARA
1 And I again lifted up my eyes, and looked, and behold there was a flying rollbook.
1 Tornei a levantar os olhos e vi, e eis um rolo voante.
2 And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll, its length is twenty cubits, and its breadth ten cubits.
2 Perguntou-me o anjo: Que vês? Eu respondi: vejo um rolo voante, que tem vinte côvados de comprimento e dez de largura.
3 Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of all the earth; for every one that stealeth as it is on this side shall be in an equal degree entirely destroyed, as also every one that sweareth falsely as it is on that side shall be likewise entirely destroyed.
3 Então, me disse: Esta é a maldição que sai pela face de toda a terra, porque qualquer que furtar será expulso segundo a maldição, e qualquer que jurar falsamente será expulso também segundo a mesma.
4 I bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with its timber and its stones.
4 Fá-la-ei sair, diz o Senhor dos Exércitos, e a farei entrar na casa do ladrão e na casa do que jurar falsamente pelo meu nome; nela, pernoitará e consumirá a sua madeira e as suas pedras.
5 Then went forth the angel that spoke with me, and said unto me, Do but lift up thy eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.
5 Saiu o anjo que falava comigo e me disse: Levanta, agora, os olhos e vê que é isto que sai.
6 And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their appearance through all the earth.
6 Eu perguntei: que é isto? Ele me respondeu: É um efa que sai. Disse ainda: Isto é a iniquidade em toda a terra.
7 And, behold, there was lifted up a heavy cover of lead: and there was a certain woman sitting in the midst of the ephah.
7 Eis que foi levantada a tampa de chumbo, e uma mulher estava sentada dentro do efa.
8 And he said, This is the wickedness. And he cast her into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weighty lead cover upon the mouth thereof.
8 Prosseguiu o anjo: Isto é a impiedade. E a lançou para o fundo do efa, sobre cuja boca pôs o peso de chumbo.
9 Then did I lift up my eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, having the wind in their wings, and they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.
9 Levantei os olhos e vi, e eis que saíram duas mulheres; havia vento em suas asas, que eram como de cegonha; e levantaram o efa entre a terra e o céu.
10 Then said I to the angel that spoke with me, Whither are these bearing away the ephah?
10 Então, perguntei ao anjo que falava comigo: para onde levam elas o efa?
11 And he said unto me, To build for it a house in the land of Shinar: and when this is erected, then will the other be set there upon its own base.
11 Respondeu-me: Para edificarem àquela mulher uma casa na terra de Sinar, e, estando esta acabada, ela será posta ali em seu próprio lugar.
