Leeser Old Testament (LEESER) vs NVT
1 Of David. Unto thee, O Lord, will I call; O my rock, turn not unheeding from me: lest thou turn away silent from me, and I become like those that go down into the pit.
1 A ti eu clamo, ó S enhor , minha rocha; não feches teus ouvidos para mim. Pois, se permaneceres calado, será melhor que eu desista e morra.
2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward the most holy place of thy sanctuary.
2 Ouve minha súplica por misericórdia, quando eu clamar por socorro, quando levantar as mãos para o teu santuário.
3 Snatch me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of injustice, who speak peace with their neighbors, with mischief in their heart.
3 Não me arrastes com os perversos, com os que praticam o mal, que dirigem palavras amigáveis ao próximo, enquanto tramam maldades no coração.
4 Give unto them according to their doing, and according to the evil of their deeds; according to the work of their hands do thou give unto them: bestow their just recompense on them.
4 Dá o castigo pelo que fizeram, segundo a medida de sua perversidade. Retribui-lhes por seus atos e faz que recebam o que merecem.
5 Because they have no regard for the doings of the Lord, nor the works of his hands: may he pull them down, and not build them up.
5 Eles não se importam com as obras do S enhor , nem com o que suas mãos criaram. Por isso ele os derrubará, e nunca mais voltarão a se erguer.
6 Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.
6 Louvado seja o S enhor , pois ouviu meu clamor por misericórdia!
7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him hath my heart trusted, and I am helped, and my heart exulteth; and with my song will I thank him.
7 O S enhor é minha força e meu escudo; confio nele de todo o coração. Ele me ajuda, e meu coração se enche de alegria; por isso lhe dou graças com meus cânticos.
8 The Lord is strength unto them, and he is the fortress of victory of his anointed.
8 O S enhor é a força de seu povo, fortaleza segura para seu ungido.
9 Help thy people, and bless thy heritage: and feed them, and exalt them unto all eternity.
9 Salva o teu povo! Abençoa os que pertencem a ti! Conduze-os como pastor e leva-os em teus braços para sempre.
