¹ Hallelujah. Sing unto the Lord a new song, his praise in the congregation of the pious.

¹ Louvai ao SENHOR. Cantai ao SENHOR uma nova canção, e seu louvor na congregação dos santos.

² Let Israel rejoice in his Maker: let the children of Zion exult in their King.

² Regozije-se Israel naquele que o fez, alegrem-se os filhos de Sião no seu Rei.

³ Let them praise his name in the dance: with the timbrel and harp let them sing praises unto him.

³ Louvem o seu nome na dança; cantem louvores a ele com tamboril e harpa.

⁴ For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people; he will adorn the meek with salvation.

⁴ Pois o SENHOR tem prazer em seu povo; ele embelezará os mansos com a salvação.

⁵ Let the pious be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their couches.

⁵ Alegrem-se os santos na glória; cantem alto sobre as suas camas.

⁶ The exalted praises of God are in their mouth, and a twoedged sword is in their hand;

⁶ Estejam em sua boca os altos louvores de Deus, e uma espada de dois fios na sua mão,

⁷ To execute vengeance on the nations, and chastisements on the people:

⁷ para executarem vingança sobre os pagãos, e punições sobre o povo;

⁸ To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron:

⁸ para amarrarem os seus reis com correntes, e os seus nobres com grilhões de ferro;

⁹ To execute upon them the judgment which is written: this is an honor for all his pious servants. Hallelujah.

⁹ para executarem sobre eles o juízo escrito; todos os seus santos têm esta honra. Louvai ao SENHOR.
