1 Hallelujah. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights.
1 Louvai ao SENHOR. Louvai ao SENHOR desde os céus; louvai-o nas alturas.
2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.
2 Louvai-o, todos os seus anjos; louvai-o, todos os seus exércitos.
3 Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.
3 Louvai-o, sol e lua; louvai-o, todas as estrelas de luz.
4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that are above the heavens.
4 Louvai-o, vós céus dos céus, e vós águas que estiverem sobre os céus.
5 Let them praise the name of the Lord; for he commanded and they were created.
5 Louvem o nome do SENHOR, pois ele comandou, e foram criados.
6 And he established them for ever and to eternity: he gave a decree which none shall transgress.
6 Ele também os estabeleceu para sempre e sempre; criou um decreto que não passará.
7 Praise the Lord from the earth, ye sea–monsters, and all deeps;
7 Louvai ao SENHOR desde a terra: vós dragões, e todas as profundezas.
8 Fire, and hail, snow, and vapor; thou storm–wind that fulfillest his word;
8 Fogo e granizo; neve e vapores, e vento tempestuoso cumprindo a sua palavra;
9 Ye mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars;
9 Montes, e todas as colinas, árvores frutíferas e todos os cedros;
10 Ye beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and winged birds;
10 Animais, e todos os gados, coisas rastejantes e aves voadoras;
11 Ye kings of the earth, and all nations; ye princes, and all judges of the earth;
11 Reis da terra e todos os povos; príncipes e todos os juízes da terra;
12 Young men and also virgins; old men, together with boys:––
12 Jovens, donzelas, velhos e crianças.
13 Let them praise the name of the Lord; for his name alone is exalted; his majesty is above earth and heaven.
13 Louvem o nome do SENHOR, pois só o seu nome é excelente; a sua glória está sobre a terra e o céu.
14 He also exalteth the horn of his people, a praise unto all his pious servants, even unto the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Hallelujah.
14 Ele também exalta o chifre do seu povo, o louvor de todos os seus santos, até das crianças de Israel, um povo perto dele. Louvai ao SENHOR.
