1 And the Lord spoke unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after their going out of the land of Egypt, saying,
1 No primeiro dia do segundo mês, no segundo ano depois da saída do Egito, o Senhor disse a Moisés no deserto do Sinai, na tenda de reunião:
2 Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, every male according to their polls;
2 "Fazei o recenseamento de toda a assembléia dos filhos de Israel segundo suas famílias, suas casas patriarcais, contando nominalmente por cabeça todos os varões da idade de vinte anos para cima,
3 From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: these shall ye number according to their armies, thou and Aaron.
3 todos os israelitas aptos para o serviço das armas: fareis o recenseamento deles segundo os seus grupos, tu e Aarão.
4 And with you there shall be one man each of every tribe; a man who is the head of his family division.
4 Assistir-vos-á um homem de cada tribo, um chefe da casa de seu pai.
5 And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you; of Reuben: Elizur the son of Shedeur.
5 Eis os nomes daqueles que vos hão de acompanhar: de Rubem, Elisur, filho de Sedeur;
6 Of Simeon: Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
6 de Simeão, Salamiel, filho de Surisadai;
7 Of Judah: Nachshon the son of Amminadab.
7 de Judá, Naasson, filho de Aminadab;
8 Of Issachar: Nethanel the son of Zuar.
8 de Issacar, Natanael, filho de Suar;
9 Of Zebulun: Eliab the son of Chelon.

10 Of the children of Joseph, of Ephraim: Elishama the son of Ammihud; of Menasseh: Gamliel the son of Pedahzur.

11 Of Benjamin: Abidan the son of Gidoni.

12 Of Dan: Achiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

13 Of Asher: Pagiel the son of Ochran.

16 These were the selected of the congregation, the princes of the tribes of their fathers; the heads of the thousands of Israel were they.
16 Tais são os que foram escolhidos da assembléia. Eram os príncipes de suas tribos patriarcais, chefes de milhares em Israel.
17 And Moses and Aaron took these men who are expressed by name:
17 Depois de se terem ajuntado esses homens designados pelos seus nomes, Moisés e Aarão
18 And all the congregation they assembled together on the first day of the second month, and they were enrolled in the lists of their pedigrees after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, according to their polls.
18 convocaram toda a assembléia no primeiro dia do segundo mês. Efetuaram o recenseamento por clãs e famílias, contando nome por nome as pessoas da idade de vinte anos para cima,
19 As the Lord had commanded Moses, so did he number them in the wilderness of Sinai.
19 assim como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés. Fez-se, pois, o recenseamento no deserto do Sinai.
20 And there were of the children of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names according to their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
20 Dos filhos de Rubem, primogênito de Israel, seus descendentes segundo suas famílias e suas casas patriarcais, contando seus nomes por cabeça, todos os varões da idade de vinte anos para cima - todos os que eram aptos para o serviço das armas -,
21 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.
21 foram recenseados 46.500 na tribo de Rubem.
22 Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, those that were numbered of them, by numbering the names according to their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
22 Dos filhos de Simeão, seus descendentes segundo suas famílias e suas casas patriarcais, contando seus nomes da idade de vinte anos para cima - todos os que eram aptos para o serviço das armas -,
23 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.
23 foram recenseados 59.300 na tribo de Simeão.
24 Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
24 Dos filhos de Gad, seus descendentes segundo suas famílias e suas casas patriarcais, contando seus nomes da idade de vinte anos para cima - todos os que eram aptos para o serviço das armas -,
25 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.
25 foram recenseados 45.650 na tribo de Gad.
26 Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
26 Dos filhos de Judá, seus descendentes segundo suas famílias e suas casas patriarcais, contando seus nomes da idade de vinte anos para cima - todos os que eram aptos para o serviço das armas -,
27 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Judah, were seventy and four thousand and six hundred.
27 foram recenseados 74.600 na tribo de Judá.
28 Of the children of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
28 Dos filhos de Issacar, seus descendentes segundo suas famílias e suas casas patriarcais, contando seus nomes da idade de vinte anos para cima - todos os que eram aptos para o serviço das armas -,
29 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.
29 foram recenseados 54.400 na tribo de Issacar.
30 Of the children of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
30 Dos filhos de Zabulon, seus descendentes segundo suas famílias e suas casas patriarcais, contando seus nomes da idade de vinte anos para cima - todos os que eram aptos para o serviço das armas -,
31 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.
31 foram recenseados 57.400 na tribo de Zabulon.
32 Of the children of Joseph, namely, of the children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war.
32 Entre os filhos de José, os filhos de Efraim, seus descendentes segundo suas famílias e suas casas patriarcais, contando seus nomes da idade de vinte anos para cima - todos os que eram aptos para o serviço das armas -,
33 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred.
33 foram recenseados 40.500 na tribo de Efraim.
34 Of the children of Menasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
34 Dos filhos de Manassés, seus descendentes segundo suas famílias e suas casas patriarcais, contando seus nomes da idade de vinte anos para cima - todos os que eram aptos para o serviço das armas -,
35 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Menasseh, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.
35 foram recenseados 32.200 na tribo de Manassés.
36 Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
36 Dos filhos de Benjamim, seus descendentes segundo suas famílias e suas casas patriarcais, contando seus nomes da idade de vinte anos para cima - todos os que eram aptos para o serviço das armas -,
37 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.
37 foram recenseados 35.400 na tribo de Benjamim.
38 Of the children of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
38 Dos filhos de Dã, seus descendentes segundo suas famílias e suas casas patriarcais, contando seus nomes da idade de vinte anos para cima - todos os que eram aptos para o serviço das armas -,
39 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Dan, were sixty and two thousand and seven hundred.
39 foram recenseados 62.700 na tribo de Dã.
40 Of the children of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
40 Dos filhos de Aser, seus descendentes segundo suas famílias e suas casas patriarcais, contando seus nomes da idade de vinte anos para cima - todos os que eram aptos para o serviço das armas -,
41 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Asher, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.
41 foram recenseados 41.500 na tribo de Aser.
42 Of the children of Naphtali, by their generations, after their families, by the descent from their fathers, by numbering the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
42 Dos filhos de Neftali, seus descendentes segundo suas famílias e suas casas patriarcais, contando seus nomes da idade de vinte anos para cima - todos os que eram aptos para o serviço das armas -,
43 Those that were numbered of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
43 foram recenseados 53.400 na tribo de Neftali.
44 These are those that were numbered, whom Moses numbered with Aaron, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men; one man each for his family division were they.
44 Estes são os que foram recenseados por Moisés e Aarão com os príncipes de Israel, em número de doze, um homem de cada casa patriarcal.
45 Thus were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the descent from their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel,
45 Os israelitas recenseados por famílias, da idade de vinte anos para cima - todos os que eram aptos para o serviço das armas -,
46 Even all they that were numbered, were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
46 somaram o total de 603.550.
47 But the Levites, after the tribe of their fathers, were not numbered among them.
47 Quanto aos levitas, porém, não foram contados com os demais, segundo suas tribos patriarcais.
48 For the Lord had spoken unto Moses, saying,
48 O Senhor havia dito, com efeito, a Moisés:
49 Only the tribe of Levi shalt thou not number, and their sum shalt thou not take, among the children of Israel;
49 "Não farás o recenseamento da tribo de Levi, nem porás a soma deles com os filhos de Israel.
50 But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the testimony, and over all its vessels, and over all things that belong to it: they shall carry the tabernacle, and all its vessels; and they shall minister unto it; and round about the tabernacle shall they encamp.
50 Confia-lhes o cuidado do tabernáculo do testemunho, de todos os seus utensílios e de tudo o que lhe pertence. Levarão o tabernáculo e todos os seus utensílios, farão o seu serviço e acamparão em volta do tabernáculo.
51 And when the tabernacle is to be carried forward, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
51 Quando se tiver de partir, os levitas desmontarão o tabernáculo e o levantarão quando se tiver de acampar. O estrangeiro que se aproximar dele será punido de morte.
52 And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their armies.
52 Os israelitas acamparão cada um em seu respectivo acampamento e cada um perto de sua bandeira, segundo suas turmas.
53 But the Levites shall encamp round shout the tabernacle of the testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of the testimony.
53 Quanto aos levitas, porém, acamparão em torno do tabernáculo do testemunho, para que não suceda explodir a minha cólera contra a assembléia dos israelitas; ademais, os levitas terão a guarda do tabernáculo do testemunho".
54 And the children of Israel did so: all, just as the Lord had commanded Moses, so did they.
54 Os israelitas fizeram tudo o que o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés; assim o fizeram.
