1 And the Lord said unto Aaron, Thou and thy sons and thy fathers house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary; and thou and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood.
1 O Senhor Deus disse a Arão: — Você, os seus filhos e os outros membros da
2 And also thy brethren, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, bring thou near with thee, that they may be joined with thee, and minister unto thee; while thou and thy sons with thee shall be before the tabernacle of the testimony.
2 Traga os outros membros da tribo de Levi, a que você também pertence, para ajudarem você e os seus filhos no serviço da Tenda.
3 And they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of all the tabernacle: only unto the vessels of the sanctuary and unto the altar shall they not come near, that they may not die, either they or you.
3 Eles, os levitas , farão os serviços que você mandar e farão também o serviço da Tenda. Mas eles não deverão chegar perto dos objetos sagrados que estão no Lugar Santo ou no altar. Se eles fizerem isso, vocês morrerão , e eles também.
4 And they shall be joined unto thee, and keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, respecting all the service of the tabernacle: and a stranger shall not come nigh unto you.
4 Os levitas trabalharão com você e farão todo o serviço da Tenda. Porém nenhuma pessoa estranha deverá trabalhar com vocês.
5 And ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar; that there be not any more wrath upon the children of Israel.
5 Somente você e os seus filhos serão os encarregados dos serviços do Lugar Santo e do altar. Assim, eu não ficarei irado de novo com o povo de Israel.
6 And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from the midst of the children of Israel; unto you are they given as a gift for the Lord, to perform the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.
6 Entre os israelitas eu escolhi os seus parentes, os levitas, como oferta para vocês, os sacerdotes. Os levitas são separados para mim a fim de fazer os serviços da Tenda Sagrada.
7 And thou and thy sons with thee shall keep your priesthood concerning every matter of the altar, and for that within the vail, where ye shall serve: as a service of gift do I give you your priesthood; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
7 Mas você e os seus filhos farão o trabalho de sacerdotes, cuidando das coisas do altar e das que estão no Lugar Santíssimo . Vocês serão responsáveis por essas coisas porque eu lhes dei o direito de serem sacerdotes. Porém morrerá qualquer estranho que chegar perto das coisas sagradas.
8 And the Lord spoke unto Aaron, And I, behold, I give thee the charge of my heaveofferings; of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel, unto thee have I given them as an official portion, and to thy sons, as a fixed right for ever.
8 O Senhor Deus disse a Arão: — Agora estou lhe dando todas as ofertas especiais que forem trazidas a mim e que não forem queimadas como
9 This shall belong to thee of the most holy things, from the fireofferings: every oblation of theirs, namely, every meatoffering of theirs, and every sinoffering of theirs, and every, trespassoffering of theirs, which they shall render unto me, shall, as most holy things, belong to thee and to thy sons.
9 Das coisas mais sagradas e que não forem queimadas você receberá o seguinte: as ofertas de cereais, as ofertas para tirar pecados e as ofertas para tirar a culpa. Tudo o que for trazido a mim como oferta sagrada pertence a você e aos seus filhos.
10 In a most holy place shalt thou eat it: every male shall eat it; holy shall it be unto thee.
10 Você comerá essas coisas num lugar sagrado, e somente os homens poderão comê-las. E serão uma coisa sagrada para você.
11 And this shall be thine, as the heaveoffering of their gift, of all the waveofferings of the children of Israel; unto thee have I given them, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, as a fixed portion for ever: every one that is clean in thy house may eat thereof.
11 — Além disso, serão suas também todas as ofertas especiais apresentadas pelos israelitas, as quais estou dando a você, aos seus filhos e às suas filhas, para sempre. Todos os seus parentes que estiverem puros poderão comer dessas coisas.
12 All the best of oil, and all the best of wine, and of corn, the firstfruits thereof which they shall offer unto the Lord, to thee have I given them.
12 Estou dando a você o melhor dos primeiros produtos da terra e que os israelitas me trazem, isto é, o melhor azeite, o melhor vinho e o melhor trigo.
13 The first ripe fruit of whatsoever is in their land, which they may bring unto the Lord, shall be thine: every one that is clean in thy house may eat thereof.
13 Os primeiros produtos da terra que as pessoas trouxerem para mim serão de você. Todos os seus parentes que estiverem puros poderão comer dessas coisas.
14 Every thing devoted in Israel shall be thine.
14 — Tudo o que na terra de Israel for dedicado somente para o serviço do Senhor Deus pertence a você.
15 Whatever openeth the womb of all flesh, which they bring unto the Lord, be it of men or of cattle, shall be thine: nevertheless thou shalt redeem the firstborn of man, and the firstling of the unclean cattle shalt thou redeem.
15 — Todo primeiro filho dos israelitas e toda primeira cria dos animais que os israelitas oferecerem a mim pertencem a você. Mas o primeiro filho e a primeira cria dos animais impuros voltarão, mediante pagamento, a ser da pessoa que os ofereceu.
16 And those that are to be redeemed from a month old shalt thou redeem, according to the usual estimation of five shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, which is twenty gerahs.
16 O pagamento pelos meninos será feito a você quando eles tiverem um mês de idade, e o preço serão cinco barras de prata (Segundo a tabela oficial, a barra de prata, o siclo , vale vinte geras.).
17 But the firstling of an ox, or the firstling of a sheep, or the firstling of a goat, thou shalt not redeem; they are holy: their blood shalt thou sprinkle upon the altar, and their fat shalt thou burn as a fireoffering, for a sweet savor unto the Lord.
17 Mas a primeira cria das vacas, das ovelhas ou das cabras não poderá ser comprada pela pessoa que a ofereceu; ela pertence a mim e deve ser oferecida em sacrifício. Borrife o sangue dela no altar e queime a gordura como oferta de alimento, pois isso produzirá um cheiro que me agrada.
18 And their flesh shall be thine: as the breast that is waved and as the right shoulder shall it be thine.
18 A carne dela será sua, assim como o peito e a coxa direita das ofertas especiais são seus.
19 All the heaveofferings of the holy things, which the children of Israel set apart unto the Lord, I have given to thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, as a fixed portion for ever: it is a covenant of salt for ever before the Lord for thee and for thy seed with thee.
19 — Estou dando a você, aos seus filhos e às suas filhas, para sempre, todas as ofertas especiais que os israelitas me oferecerem. Esta é uma aliança de sal que faço com você e com os seus descendentes e ela nunca deverá ser quebrada.
20 And the Lord said unto Aaron, In their land shalt thou have no inheritance, and any portion shalt thou not have among them: I am thy portion and thy inheritance among the children of Israel.
20 O Senhor Deus disse a Arão: — Você não terá terras nem propriedades em Israel, como os outros israelitas têm. No meio dos israelitas, eu sou a sua propriedade, a parte que você vai receber.
21 And to the children of Levi, behold, I have given every tithe in Israel, for an inheritance, in lieu of their service which they render, the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.
21 O Senhor disse: — Eu dou aos
22 And the children of Israel shall not henceforth come nigh unto the tabernacle of the congregation, to bear sin, to die thereby.
22 E nunca mais os outros israelitas devem chegar perto da Tenda porque isso seria um pecado que causaria a morte deles .
23 But they of the tribe of Levi themselves shall perform the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity: a statute for ever shall it be throughout your generations; and among the children of Israel shall they not possess any inheritance.
23 Mas os levitas farão o trabalho da Tenda e serão responsáveis pelos erros que cometerem; essa lei é para sempre e valerá também para os seus descendentes. Os levitas não terão nenhuma propriedade em Israel,
24 But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as a heaveoffering unto the Lord, have I given to the Levites for an inheritance: therefore have I said unto them, Among the children of Israel shall they obtain no inheritance.
24 pois eu lhes dei, para serem propriedade deles, os dízimos que os israelitas me apresentam como oferta especial. Foi por isso que eu lhes disse que não teriam propriedades em Israel.
25 And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
25 O Senhor Deus ordenou a Moisés
26 And unto the Levites shalt thou speak, and say unto them, When ye take from the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance: then shall ye separate therefrom a heaveoffering of the Lord, the tenth part of the tithe.
26 que dissesse aos levitas o seguinte: — Quando receberem dos israelitas os
27 And your heaveoffering shall be reckoned unto you, like the corn of the threshingfloor, and as the fulness of the winepress.
27 Essa oferta especial é como se fosse a oferta que o fazendeiro faz do primeiro cereal e do primeiro vinho.
28 Thus shall ye also offer a heaveoffering unto the Lord from all your tithes, which ye may receive from the children of Israel; and ye shall give thereof the heaveoffering of the Lord to Aaron the priest.
28 Assim, de todos os dízimos que receberem dos israelitas, vocês darão também uma oferta especial que pertence a Deus, o Senhor . Vocês deverão entregá-la ao sacerdote Arão.
29 From all your gifts shall ye set apart every heaveoffering of the Lord, from every best part thereof, its hallowed portion therefrom.
29 Das ofertas que vocês receberem deem a melhor parte para mim.
30 And thou shalt say unto them, When ye have separated the best thereof from it: then shall the remainder be counted unto the Levites as the produce of the threshingfloor, and as the produce of the winepress.
30 Depois que me derem a melhor parte, vocês poderão ficar com o resto, como faz o fazendeiro que, depois de dar a sua oferta, fica com o que sobra.
31 And ye may eat it in every place, ye and your households; for it is your reward in lieu of your service at the tabernacle of the congregation.
31 Vocês e as suas famílias poderão comer em qualquer lugar o que sobrar, pois é o pagamento que vocês recebem.
32 And ye shall not bear any sin by reason of it, when ye have separated its best part from it: and the holy things of the children of Israel shall ye not profane, lest ye die.
32 Comendo assim, vocês não estarão cometendo pecado se antes separarem o melhor para o Senhor . E não profanem as ofertas sagradas dos israelitas, comendo alguma delas antes que a melhor parte seja oferecida a mim. Se desobedecerem, morrerão.
