1 And the Lord called unto Moses, and spoke unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,
1 Chamou o Senhor a Moisés e, da tenda da congregação, lhe disse:
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any one of you wish to bring an offering unto the Lord: of the cattle, either of the herds, or of the flocks, shall ye bring your offering.
2 Fala aos filhos de Israel e dize-lhes: Quando algum de vós trouxer oferta ao Senhor , trareis a vossa oferta de gado, de rebanho ou de gado miúdo.
3 If his offering be a burnt–sacrifice of the herds, then shall he offer a male without blemish: unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation shall he bring it, that it may be favorably received for him before the Lord.
3 Se a sua oferta for holocausto de gado, trará macho sem defeito; à porta da tenda da congregação o trará, para que o homem seja aceito perante o Senhor .
4 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the burnt–offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.
4 E porá a mão sobre a cabeça do holocausto, para que seja aceito a favor dele, para a sua expiação.
5 And he shall kill the young steer before the Lord: and the sons of Aaron the priests shall bring near the blood, and they shall sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
5 Depois, imolará o novilho perante o Senhor ; e os filhos de Arão, os sacerdotes, apresentarão o sangue e o aspergirão ao redor sobre o altar que está diante da porta da tenda da congregação.
6 And he shall flay the burnt–offering, and cut it into its pieces.
6 Então, ele esfolará o holocausto e o cortará em seus pedaços.
7 And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire;
7 E os filhos de Arão, o sacerdote, porão fogo sobre o altar e porão em ordem lenha sobre o fogo.
8 And the sons of Aaron the priests shall lay in order the parts, the head, and the fat, upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar;
8 Também os filhos de Arão, os sacerdotes, colocarão em ordem os pedaços, a saber, a cabeça e o redenho, sobre a lenha que está no fogo sobre o altar.
9 But its inwards and its legs shall he wash in water; and the priest shall burn the whole on the altar, as a burnt–sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto the Lord.
9 Porém as entranhas e as pernas, o sacerdote as lavará com água; e queimará tudo isso sobre o altar; é holocausto, oferta queimada, de aroma agradável ao Senhor .
10 And if his offering be of the flocks, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt–sacrifice: then shall he offer a male without blemish as the same.
10 Se a sua oferta for de gado miúdo, de carneiros ou de cabritos, para holocausto, trará macho sem defeito.
11 And he shall kill it on the side of the altar, northward, before the Lord; and the sons of Aaron the priests shall sprinkle its blood upon the altar round about.
11 E o imolará ao lado do altar, para o lado norte, perante o Senhor ; e os filhos de Arão, os sacerdotes, aspergirão o seu sangue em redor sobre o altar.
12 And he shall cut it into its pieces, with its head and its fat; and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar;
12 Depois, ele o cortará em seus pedaços, como também a sua cabeça e o seu redenho; e o sacerdote os porá em ordem sobre a lenha que está no fogo sobre o altar;
13 But the inwards and the legs shall he wash with water; and the priest shall bring near the whole, and burn it upon the altar; it is a burnt–sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto the Lord.
13 porém as entranhas e as pernas serão lavadas com água; e o sacerdote oferecerá tudo isso e o queimará sobre o altar; é holocausto, oferta queimada, de aroma agradável ao Senhor .
14 And if of fowls be the burnt–sacrifice for his offering to the Lord: then shall he bring his offering of turtle–doves, or of young pigeons.
14 Se a sua oferta ao Senhor for holocausto de aves, trará a sua oferta de rolas ou de pombinhos.
15 And the priest shall bring it near unto the altar, and pinch off its head, and burn it on the altar; and the blood thereof shall be wrung out on the wall of the altar.
15 O sacerdote a trará ao altar, e, com a unha, lhe destroncará a cabeça, sem a separar do pescoço, e a queimará sobre o altar; o seu sangue, ele o fará correr na parede do altar;
16 And he shall remove its crop with its feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, at the place of the ashes.
16 tirará o papo com suas penas e o lançará junto ao altar, para o lado oriental, no lugar da cinza;
17 And he shall cleave it by its wings, but shall not divide it asunder; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that is on the fire: it is a burnt–sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto the Lord.
17 rasgá-la-á pelas asas, porém não a partirá; o sacerdote a queimará sobre o altar, em cima da lenha que está no fogo; é holocausto, oferta queimada, de aroma agradável ao Senhor .
