1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz foresaw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
1 A palavra que Isaías, o filho de Amós, viu concernente a Judá e Jerusalém.
2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be firmly established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and unto it shall flow all the nations.
2 E acontecerá que nos últimos dias o monte da casa do SENHOR será estabelecido no cume dos montes, e será exaltado acima das colinas. Todas as nações fluirão em direção a ele.
3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; that he may teach us of his ways, and we may walk in his paths; for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord out of Jerusalem.
3 E muitos povos irão e dirão: Vinde vós e deixai-nos subir ao monte do SENHOR, em direção à casa do Deus de Jacó, e ele nos ensinará a respeito de seus caminhos, e nós andaremos nas suas veredas; pois de Sião sairá a lei, e a palavra do SENHOR de Jerusalém.
4 And he will judge among the nations, and decide for many people; and they shall beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning–knives: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, and they shall not learn any more war.
4 E ele julgará entre as nações, e repreenderá muitos povos; e eles converterão suas espadas em lâminas de arado e suas lanças em foices. Nação não erguerá mais espada contra nação, nem aprenderão mais a guerrear.
5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.
5 Ó casa de Jacó, vinde e deixai-nos andar na luz do SENHOR.
6 For thou hast abandoned thy people, the house of Jacob, because they are full of witchcraft more than the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and with the children of strangers they unite themselves.
6 Portanto, tu tens abandonado teu povo, a casa de Jacó, porque eles se abastecem do oriente, e são adivinhos como os filisteus, e eles se agradam nos filhos de estrangeiros.
7 And full became their land of silver and gold, and there is no end to their treasures; and full became their land of horses, and there is no end to their chariots;
7 Sua terra também está repleta de prata e ouro, nem há qualquer limite para seus tesouros; sua terra também está repleta de cavalos, nem há qualquer limite para suas carruagens.
8 And full became their land of idols; to the work of their own hands they bow themselves, to what their own fingers have made.
8 Sua terra também está cheia de ídolos; eles adoram a obra de suas próprias mãos, a qual seus próprios dedos têm feito.
9 And so is bent down the son of earth, and humbled the man; and thou wilt not forgive them.
9 E o pobre se abate e o nobre se humilha; portanto, não os perdoe.
10 Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, because of the dread of the Lord, and because of the glory of his majesty.
10 Entra entre a rocha e esconde-te na areia, por temor do SENHOR e pela glória da sua majestade.
11 The looks of human pride shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bent down: and exalted shall be the Lord alone on that day.
11 Os olhares altivos do homem serão humilhados, a arrogância dos homens curvar-se-á, e o SENHOR, unicamente, será exaltado naquele dia.
12 For there is a day of judgment unto the Lord of hosts over every proud and lofty one; and over every exalted one, that he be brought low;
12 Porque o dia do SENHOR dos Exércitos será sobre todo aquele que é orgulhoso e arrogante, e sobre todo aquele que é elevado, para que seja humilhado.
13 And over all the cedars of the Lebanon, the high and exalted, and over all the oaks of Bashan;
13 E sobre todos os cedros do Líbano, que são altos e elevados, e sobre todos os carvalhos de Basã,
14 And over all the high mountains, and over all the exalted hills;
14 e sobre todos os altos montes, e sobre todas as colinas que são elevadas,
15 And over every high tower, and over every fortified wall;
15 e sobre toda torre alta, e sobre toda muralha fortificada,
16 And over all the ships of Tharshish; and over all desirable palaces.
16 e sobre todos os navios de Társis, e sobre todas as pinturas agradáveis.
17 And the pride of man shall be bent down, and the haughtiness of men shall be humbled: and exalted shall be the Lord alone on that day.
17 E a altivez do homem curvar-se-á, e a arrogância dos homens será humilhada, e só o SENHOR será exaltado naquele dia.
18 And the idols will he utterly abolish.
18 E os ídolos ele extinguirá completamente.
19 And men shall enter into the caverns of rocks, and into the rifts of the earth, because of the dread of the Lord, and because of the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to terrify the earth.
19 E eles adentrarão os buracos das rochas e nas cavernas da terra, por temor do SENHOR e pela glória de sua majestade, quando ele se erguer para sacudir terrivelmente a terra.
20 On that day shall a man cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which have been made for him to worship, to the moles and to the bats;
20 Naquele dia um homem arremessará seus ídolos de prata e seus ídolos de ouro, os quais eles fizeram, cada um para si mesmo, para adorar, às toupeiras e aos morcegos;
21 To enter into the clefts of the rocks, and into the hollows of the cliffs, because of the dread of the Lord, and because of the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to terrify the earth.
21 para adentrarem nas fendas das rochas, e nos cumes das rochas fendidas, por temor do SENHOR, e pela glória de sua majestade, quando ele se erguer para sacudir terrivelmente a terra.
22 Withdraw yourselves then from man, whose breath is in his nostrils; because, for what is he to be esteemed?
22 Deixai-vos do homem, cujo fôlego está em suas narinas; pois em que situação deve ser considerado?
