Ezequiel 32
Leeser Old Testament (LEESER) vs NTLH
1 And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, on the first day of the month, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
1 No ano décimo segundo do nosso cativeiro , no dia primeiro do décimo segundo mês , o Senhor me disse o seguinte:
2 Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou didst deem thyself like a young lion among the nations: while thou art as a crocodile in the seas; and thou issuedst forth with thy rivers, and madest turbid the waters with thy feet, and didst stir up their rivers.
2 — Homem mortal , cante um cântico fúnebre a respeito do rei do Egito. Diga-lhe isto: “Você age como um leão no meio das nações, mas parece mais um crocodilo nadando e agitando a água do rio. Com as suas patas, você turva a água e suja os rios.
3 Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, I will therefore spread out my net over thee through the assemblage of many people, and they shall draw thee up in my net.
3 Quando muitos povos se ajuntarem, eu, o Senhor Deus, o pegarei na minha rede e deixarei que eles puxem a rede para a praia.
4 Then will I cast thee upon the land, upon the open field will I hurl thee, and will cause all the fowls of the heaven to dwell upon thee, and I will satisfy off thee the beasts of all the earth.
4 Eu o deixarei em lugar seco, eu o jogarei na terra e trarei todos os pássaros e animais do mundo para que comam a sua carne.
5 And I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with thy carcass.
5 Cobrirei montanhas e vales com o seu cadáver podre.
6 I will also saturate the land wherein thou swimmest with thy blood, even to the mountains; and the ravines shall be full of thee.
6 Ensoparei a terra com o seu sangue, e ele cobrirá as montanhas e encherá os rios.
7 And I will cover up the heavens, when thou art quenched, and make their stars obscure: the sun will I cover up with a cloud, and the moon shall not let shine her light.
7 Quando eu destruir você, cobrirei o céu e apagarei as estrelas. Esconderei o sol atrás das nuvens, e a lua não brilhará mais.
8 All the lightdispensing lights of the heavensthese will I make obscure because of thee, and I will lay darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord Eternal.
8 Apagarei todas as luzes do céu e lançarei o seu país na escuridão. Sou eu, o Senhor Deus, quem está falando.
9 And I will aggrieve the heart of many people, when I bring those who are broken off from thee among the nations, into countries which thou hast not known.
9 — “Você será destruído, e eu espalharei essa notícia em países de que você nunca ouviu falar. Aí muitas nações vão ficar em confusão
10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and on their kings the hair shall stand on end because of thee, when I brandish my sword before their faces: and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, on the day of thy downfall.
10 e espantadas com o que eu vou fazer com você. Quando eu agitar a minha espada, os seus reis ficarão apavorados. No dia em que você cair, todos eles tremerão de medo de perder a vida.”
11 For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, The sword of the king of Babylon shall come over thee.
11 — O Senhor Deus continua a dizer ao rei do Egito: “Você enfrentará a espada do rei da Babilônia.
12 By the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall, the fiercest of nations are all of them: and they shall destroy the pride of Egypt, and all her multitude shall be annihilated.
12 Deixarei que os soldados de nações cruéis peguem a espada e matem milhares de egípcios. Eles arrasarão tudo aquilo de que você tem orgulho e matarão o seu povo.
13 And I will cause to vanish all her beasts from beside the great waters; and the foot of man shall not make them turbid any more, nor shall the hoofs of beasts make them turbid.
13 Destruirei o seu gado em todos os bebedouros, e não haverá mais gente nem gado para sujar a água.
14 Then will I make clear their waters, and cause their rivers to flow like oil, saith the Lord Eternal;
14 Deixarei que as suas águas assentem e fiquem claras e farei com que os seus rios corram calmamente. Sou eu, o Senhor Deus, quem está falando.
15 When I render the land of Egypt desolate and wasted, the country bereft of what now filleth it, when I smite all those that dwell therein: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
15 Quando eu fizer o Egito virar um deserto abandonado e destruir todos os que vivem ali, as outras nações ficarão sabendo que eu sou o Senhor .”
16 This is the lamentation wherewith they shall lament for her; the daughters of the nations shall lament for her: for Egypt, and for all her multitude, shall they lament with it, saith the Lord Eternal.
16 — Este é o cântico fúnebre que as mulheres das outras nações vão cantar para chorar pelo Egito e por todo o seu povo. Eu, o Senhor Deus, falei.
17 And it came to pass in the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
17 No ano décimo segundo do nosso cativeiro , no dia quinze do primeiro mês , o Senhor me disse o seguinte:
18 Son of man, moan for the multitude of Egypt, and say that it shall go down, yea, she, and the daughters of powerful nations, unto the land of the nether world, with those that go down to the pit.
18 — Homem mortal , chore pela multidão de gente do Egito. Faça com que eles desçam ao mundo dos mortos junto com outras nações poderosas.
19 Whom dost thou surpass in loveliness? go down then, and be thou laid with the other uncircumcised.
19 Diga o seguinte: “Será que vocês são mais bonitos do que os outros? Pois vocês vão descer e se deitar nas sepulturas dos maus.”
20 In the midst of those that are slain by the sword shall they fall: to the sword is she given up; drag her away and all her multitudes.
20 — Os egípcios cairão junto com aqueles que são mortos em batalha. Uma espada está preparada para matar toda a gente do Egito.
21 Then will speak of him the strongest among the mighty out of the midst of the nether world with those that once helped him, They are gone down, there lie the uncircumcised,slain by the sword.
21 Os heróis mais valentes e os que lutaram pelo Egito recebem os egípcios quando estes entram no mundo dos mortos. Eles gritam: “Esses que não foram circuncidados morreram na batalha, desceram até aqui e aqui estão deitados.”
22 There is Asshur and all his assemblage; round about him are his graves; all of them the slain that are fallen by the sword;
22 — A Assíria está ali, e em volta dela estão os túmulos dos seus soldados. Eles foram mortos em combate,
23 Whose graves are placed in the lowest depth of the pit, and his assemblage is round about his grave; all of them are slain, fallen by the sword, who once spread terror in the land of the living.
23 e os túmulos deles estão nas profundezas do mundo dos mortos. Todos os seus soldados caíram em combate, e os túmulos deles estão em volta do túmulo da Assíria. Mas antes eles haviam feito tremer de medo os que estão vivos.
24 There is Elam and all her multitude round about her grave, all of them the slain, that are fallen by the sword, who are gone down uncircumcised into the land of the nether world, who once spread their terror in the land of the living; and they have borne their confusion with those that go down to the pit.
24 — O país de Elão está ali, e em volta estão os túmulos dos seus soldados. Todos eles foram mortos em combate e, sem terem sido circuncidados, desceram ao mundo dos mortos. Quando estavam vivos, eles espalhavam o terror, mas agora estão mortos e cobertos de vergonha.
25 In the midst of the slain have they set a couch for her with all her multitude; all round about are her graves; all of them are uncircumcised, slain by the sword; because their terror was once spread in the land of the living; and they have borne their confusion with those that go down to the pit: in the midst of the slain was she placed.
25 Elão está deitado no meio dos que foram mortos em combate, e os túmulos dos seus soldados estão em volta dele. Nenhum deles foi circuncidado; todos eles foram mortos em combate. Quando estavam vivos, eles espalhavam o terror, mas agora estão mortos e cobertos de vergonha, fazendo companhia aos que foram mortos em combate.
26 There is Meshech, Thubal, and all her multitude; all round about her are her graves: all of them are the uncircumcised, slain by the sword; because they once spread their terror in the land of the living.
26 — Os países de Meseque e Tubal estão ali, e em volta estão os túmulos dos seus soldados. Nenhum deles foi circuncidado; todos eles foram mortos em combate. Mas antes eles haviam causado terror na terra dos que estão vivos.
27 And those who are fallen of the uncircumcised shall not lie with the mighty, who are gone down to the nether world with their weapons of war, while men laid their swords under their heads, and the instruments of their iniquities were upon their bones; for the terror of the mighty was in the land of the living.
27 Eles não foram sepultados com homenagens como os heróis dos tempos antigos, que desceram ao mundo dos mortos com as suas armas. As suas espadas foram colocadas debaixo das cabeças, e os escudos , em cima dos corpos. Esses heróis tiveram poder para causar terror na terra dos que estão vivos.
28 But thou shalt be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and shalt lie with those that are slain by the sword.
28 — Será assim que os egípcios estarão esmagados no meio dos que não foram circuncidados e que morreram em combate.
29 There are Edom, her kings, and all her princes, who are laid despite their prowess by those that are slain by the sword: they shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with those that go down to the pit.
29 — O país de Edom está ali com os seus reis e autoridades. Eles foram soldados corajosos, mas agora estão deitados no mundo dos mortos, junto com os que não foram circuncidados e que morreram em combate.
30 There are the chieftains of the north, all of them, and all the Zidonians, who are gone down with the slain: despite the terror they excited through their prowess are they made ashamed; and they lie uncircumcised with those that are slain by the sword, and bear their confusion with those that go down to the pit.
30 — Todos os príncipes do Norte e os moradores de Sidom estão no mundo dos mortos; eles morreram sem terem sido circuncidados. O seu poder espalhava o terror, mas agora eles descem sem honra junto com os que foram mortos em combate e que estão deitados ali. Eles tomam parte na desgraça daqueles que descem ao mundo dos mortos.
31 These shall Pharaoh see, and he shall be comforted over all his multitude: slain by the sword are Pharaoh and all his army, saith the Lord Eternal.
31 — O rei do Egito os verá e ficará consolado com a morte de todo o seu exército destruído em combate! — diz o Senhor Deus.
32 For I spread my terror in the land of the living; and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised with those that are slain by the sword,yea, Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord Eternal.
32 — Eu fiz com que o rei do Egito deixasse os vivos apavorados, mas ele e o seu exército serão mortos e ficarão deitados junto com todos os não circuncidados que foram mortos em combate. Eu, o Senhor Deus, falei.
