1 And the Lord said unto Moses, Yet one plague more will I bring upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; after that he will let you go hence: when he doth let you go, he shall surely thrust you out altogether from here.
1 E disse o SENHOR a Moisés: Trarei ainda mais uma praga sobre Faraó, e sobre o Egito. Depois disso, ele vos deixará ir daqui. Quando vos deixar ir, ele certamente vos expulsará daqui completamente.
2 Speak now in the ears of the people, and let them ask every man of his neighbor, and every woman of her neighbor, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold.
2 Fala agora aos ouvidos do povo, e que todo homem peça de seu vizinho, e toda mulher de sua vizinha, joias de prata e joias de ouro.
3 And the Lord gave the people favor in the eyes of the Egyptians; also the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the eyes of Pharaohs servants, and in the eyes of the people.
3 E o SENHOR deu favor ao povo à vista dos egípcios. Além disso, o homem Moisés era muito grande na terra do Egito, à vista dos servos de Faraó, e à vista do povo.
4 And Moses said, Thus hath said the Lord, About midnight will I go out in the midst of Egypt:
4 E Moisés disse: Assim diz o SENHOR: À meia-noite sairei no meio dos egípcios,
5 And there shall die every firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that is to sit upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and every firstborn of cattle.
5 e todo primogênito na terra do Egito morrerá, desde o primogênito de Faraó que está assentado sobre o seu trono, até mesmo o primogênito da serva que está atrás do moinho, e todos os primogênitos dos animais.
6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, the like of which hath never been, and the like of which will not be any more.
6 E haverá grande clamor em toda a terra do Egito, como nunca houve, nem jamais haverá.
7 But against any of the children of Israel not a dog shall move his tongue, neither against man nor beast; in order that ye may know how that the Lord doth distinguish between the Egyptians and Israel.
7 Mas contra qualquer dos filhos de Israel, nem mesmo um cão moverá sua língua, contra homem ou animal, para que saibais que o SENHOR faz diferença entre os egípcios e Israel.
8 And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow themselves down unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that followeth thee; and after that I will go out: and he went out from Pharaoh in a burning anger.
8 E todos estes teus servos descerão a mim, e se curvarão diante de mim, dizendo: Sai tu, e todo o povo que te segue. E depois disso eu sairei. E ele saiu da presença de Faraó com grande ira.
9 And the Lord said unto Moses, Pharaoh will not hearken unto you; in order that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.
9 E disse o SENHOR a Moisés: Faraó não vos ouvirá, para que as minhas maravilhas se multipliquem na terra do Egito.
10 And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh; and the Lord hardened Pharaohs heart, and he did not let the children of Israel go out of his land.
10 E Moisés e Arão fizeram todas essas maravilhas diante de Faraó; e o SENHOR endureceu o coração de Faraó, para que não deixasse os filhos de Israel sair de sua terra.
