Leeser Old Testament (LEESER) vs ARA
1 Then gave king Darius an order, that they should make search in the house of the books, where the treasures were laid up there in Babylon.
1 Então, o rei Dario deu ordem, e uma busca se fez nos arquivos reais da Babilônia, onde se guardavam os documentos.
2 And there was found at Achmetha, in the castle that is in the province of Media, a roll, and therein was thus written: A record.
2 Em Acmetá, na fortaleza que está na província da Média, se achou um rolo, e nele estava escrito um memorial que dizia assim:
3 In the first year of king Cyrus, king Cyrus gave an order concerning the house of God at Jerusalem, Let the house be built, the place where they used to offer sacrifices, and let its foundations be strongly laid: its height shall be sixty cubits, its breadth sixty cubits,
3 O rei Ciro, no seu primeiro ano, baixou o seguinte decreto: Com respeito à Casa de Deus, em Jerusalém, deve ela edificar-se para ser um lugar em que se ofereçam sacrifícios; seus fundamentos serão firmes, a sua altura, de sessenta côvados, e a sua largura, de sessenta côvados, com três carreiras de grandes pedras e uma de madeira nova.
4 With three rows of heavy stones, and a row of new timber; and let the expenses be given out of the kings house.
4 A despesa se fará da casa do rei.
5 And also let the golden and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took away out of the temple which is in Jerusalem, and brought unto Babylon, be restored, and brought back unto the temple which is in Jerusalem, every one to its place, and let them be put in the house of God.
5 Demais disto, os utensílios de ouro e de prata, da Casa de Deus, que Nabucodonosor tirara do templo que estava em Jerusalém, levando-os para a Babilônia, serão devolvidos para o templo que está em Jerusalém, cada utensílio para o seu lugar; serão recolocados na Casa de Deus.
6 Now Thathnai, governor beyond the river, Shetharbozenai, and your companions the Apharsachites, who are beyond the river, be ye far from there:
6 Agora, pois, Tatenai, governador dalém do Eufrates, Setar-Bozenai e seus companheiros, os afarsaquitas, que estais para além do rio, retirai-vos para longe dali.
7 Let the work of this house of God alone; let the governor of the Jews and the elders of the Jews build this house of God on its site.
7 Não interrompais a obra desta Casa de Deus, para que o governador dos judeus e os seus anciãos reedifiquem a Casa de Deus no seu lugar.
8 And by me is the order given what ye shall do to the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God, that out of the kings property, arising out of the tax beyond the river, the expenses shall forthwith be given unto these men, that they be not hindered.
8 Também por mim se decreta o que haveis de fazer a estes anciãos dos judeus, para que reedifiquem esta Casa de Deus, a saber, que da tesouraria real, isto é, dos tributos dalém do rio, se pague, pontualmente, a despesa a estes homens, para que não se interrompa a obra.
9 And what they have need of, both young bullocks, and rams, and lambs, for the burntofferings unto the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the requirement of the priests who are a Jerusalem, shall be given unto them day by day, without fail.
9 Também se lhes dê, dia após dia, sem falta, aquilo de que houverem mister: novilhos, carneiros e cordeiros, para holocausto ao Deus dos céus; trigo, sal, vinho e azeite, segundo a determinação dos sacerdotes que estão em Jerusalém;
10 That they may offer sacrifices of sweet savors unto the God of heaven, and pray for the life of the king and of his sons.
10 para que ofereçam sacrifícios de aroma agradável ao Deus dos céus e orem pela vida do rei e de seus filhos.
11 Also is by me the order given, that if any man should alter this command, timber shall be pulled down from his house, and being set up, he shall be hanged thereon; and his house shall be made a dunghill for this.
11 Também por mim se decreta que todo homem que alterar este decreto, uma viga se arrancará da sua casa, e que seja ele levantado e pendurado nela; e que da sua casa se faça um monturo.
12 And may the God that causeth his name to dwell there cast down every king and people that will stretch forth their hand to alter, to destroy this house of God which is in Jerusalem. I Darius have given the order: let it be done speedily.
12 O Deus, pois, que fez habitar ali o seu nome derribe a todos os reis e povos que estenderem a mão para alterar o decreto e para destruir esta Casa de Deus, a qual está em Jerusalém. Eu, Dario, baixei o decreto; que se execute com toda a pontualidade.
13 Then did Thathnai the, governor on this aide of the river, Shetharbozenai, and their companions, in accordance with what king Darius had sent, act in this manner speedily.
13 Então, Tatenai, o governador daquém do Eufrates, Setar-Bozenai e os seus companheiros assim o fizeram pontualmente, segundo decretara o rei Dario.
14 And the elders of the Jews built, and they prospered, through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet, and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they built, and completed it, according to the order of the God of Israel, and according to the order of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes the king of Persia.
14 Os anciãos dos judeus iam edificando e prosperando em virtude do que profetizaram os profetas Ageu e Zacarias, filho de Ido. Edificaram a casa e a terminaram segundo o mandado do Deus de Israel e segundo o decreto de Ciro, de Dario e de Artaxerxes, rei da Pérsia.
15 And this house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of king Darius.
15 Acabou-se esta casa no dia terceiro do mês de adar, no sexto ano do reinado do rei Dario.
16 Then celebrated the children of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the exile, the dedication of this house of God with joy;
16 Os filhos de Israel, os sacerdotes, os levitas e o restante dos exilados celebraram com regozijo a dedicação desta Casa de Deus.
17 And they offered for the dedication of this house of God one hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs; and for a sinoffering for all Israel, twelve hegoats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.
17 Para a dedicação desta Casa de Deus ofereceram cem novilhos, duzentos carneiros, quatrocentos cordeiros e doze cabritos, para oferta pelo pecado de todo o Israel, segundo o número das tribos de Israel.
18 And they stationed the priests in their orders, and the Levites in their divisions, for the service of God, which is in Jerusalem, as it is written in the book of Moses.
18 Estabeleceram os sacerdotes nos seus turnos e os levitas nas suas divisões, para o serviço de Deus em Jerusalém, segundo está escrito no Livro de Moisés.
19 And the children of the exile prepared the passoversacrifice on the fourteenth day of the first month.
19 Os que vieram do cativeiro celebraram a Páscoa no dia catorze do primeiro mês;
20 For the priests and the Levites had purified themselves, as one man were all of them clean; and they slaughtered the passoversacrifice for all the children of the exile, and for their brethren the priests, and for themselves.
20 porque os sacerdotes e os levitas se tinham purificado como se fossem um só homem, e todos estavam limpos; mataram o cordeiro da Páscoa para todos os que vieram do cativeiro, para os sacerdotes, seus irmãos, e para si mesmos.
21 And then did the children of Israel, who were returned out of the exile, and all such as had separated themselves unto them from the uncleanness of the nations of the earth, to seek the Lord the God of Israel, eat thereof.
21 Assim, comeram a Páscoa os filhos de Israel que tinham voltado do exílio e todos os que, unindo-se a eles, se haviam separado da imundícia dos gentios da terra, para buscarem o Senhor , Deus de Israel.
22 And they celebrated the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy; for the Lord had made them joyful, and had turned the heart of the king of Asshur toward them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.
22 Celebraram a Festa dos Pães Asmos por sete dias, com regozijo, porque o Senhor os tinha alegrado, mudando o coração do rei da Assíria a favor deles, para lhes fortalecer as mãos na obra da Casa de Deus, o Deus de Israel.
