1 And in the first year of Cyrus the king of Persia, at the time the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah was accomplished, the Lord awakened the spirit of Cyrus the king of Persia; and he caused a proclamation to be made throughout all his kingdom, and also by means of writing, saying,
1 No primeiro ano de Ciro, rei da Pérsia (para que se cumprisse a palavra do SENHOR, pela boca de Jeremias), despertou o SENHOR o espírito de Ciro, rei da Pérsia, o qual fez passar pregão por todo o seu reino, como também por escrito, dizendo:
2 Thus hath said Cyrus the king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the Lord the God of heaven given unto me; and he hath directed me to build for him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
2 Assim diz Ciro, rei da Pérsia: O Senhor Deus dos céus me deu todos os reinos da terra, e me encarregou de lhe edificar uma casa em Jerusalém, que está em Judá.
3 Whoever among you that is of all his people, may his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the Lord the God of Israel, he is the God who is in Jerusalem.
3 Quem há entre vós, de todo o seu povo, seja seu Deus com ele, e suba a Jerusalém, que está em Judá, e edifique a casa do Senhor Deus de Israel (ele é o Deus) que está em Jerusalém.
4 And whosoever remaineth out of any place where he hath sojourned, him shall the men of his place assist with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of God which is in Jerusalem.
4 E todo aquele que ficar atrás em algum lugar em que andar peregrinando, os homens do seu lugar o ajudarão com prata, com ouro, com bens, e com gados, além das dádivas voluntárias para a casa de Deus, que está em Jerusalém.
5 Then rose up the chiefs of the divisions of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all those whose spirit God had awakened, to go up to build the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem.
5 Então se levantaram os chefes dos pais de Judá e Benjamim, e os sacerdotes e os levitas, com todos aqueles cujo espírito Deus despertou, para subirem a edificar a casa do Senhor, que está em Jerusalém.
6 And all those that were round about them supplied them with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, beside all that was willingly offered.
6 E todos os que habitavam nos arredores lhes firmaram as mãos com vasos de prata, com ouro, com bens e com gado, e com coisas preciosas; além de tudo o que voluntariamente se deu.
7 Also king Cyrus brought forth the vessels of the house of the Lord, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought away out of Jerusalem, and had placed in the house of his god:
7 Também o rei Ciro tirou os utensílios da casa do Senhor, que Nabucodonosor tinha trazido de Jerusalém, e que tinha posto na casa de seus deuses.
8 Even these did Cyrus the king of Persia bring forth through the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and counted them out unto Sheshbazzar the prince for Judah.
8 Estes tirou Ciro, rei da Pérsia, pela mão de Mitredate, o tesoureiro, que os entregou contados a Sesbazar, príncipe de Judá.
9 And this is their number: Thirty chargers of gold, a thousand chargers of silver, nine and twenty knives,
9 E este é o número deles: trinta travessas de ouro, mil travessas de prata, vinte e nove facas,
10 Thirty cups of gold, silver cups of a second degree four hundred and ten, other vessels a thousand.
10 Trinta bacias de ouro, mais outras quatrocentas e dez bacias de prata, e mil outros utensílios.
11 All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up with the exiles that were brought up from Babylon unto Jerusalem.
11 Todos os utensílios de ouro e de prata foram cinco mil e quatrocentos; todos estes levou Sesbazar, quando os do cativeiro subiram de babilônia para Jerusalém.
