Leeser Old Testament (LEESER) vs BKJ
1 And at that time will Michael, the great prince who standeth for the children of thy people, stand forth; and there will be a time of distress, such as hath never been since the existence of any nation, until that same time; and at that time shall thy people be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
1 E naquele tempo Miguel levantar-se-á, o grande príncipe que representa os filhos do teu povo; e haverá um tempo de tribulação, tal qual nunca houve desde que existiu nação até aquele tempo; e naquele tempo o teu povo será libertado, todos os que forem encontrados escritos no livro.
2 And many of those that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to disgrace and everlasting abhorrence.
2 E muitos daqueles que dormem no pó da terra despertarão, alguns para a vida eterna, e alguns para vergonha e desprezo eterno.
3 And the intelligent shall shine brilliantly like the brilliance of the expanse of the sky; and they that bring many to righteousness shall be like the stars, for ever and ever.
3 E aqueles que forem sábios brilharão como o esplendor do firmamento; e aqueles que converterem muitos para a justiça, como as estrelas para sempre e sempre.
4 But thou, O Daniel, close up the words, and seal the book, until the time of the end: many will roam about, yet shall knowledge be increased.
4 Porém tu, ó Daniel, fecha as palavras e sela o livro, até o tempo do fim; muitos correrão para frente e para trás, e o conhecimento será aumentado.
5 Then I Daniel looked, and behold, there were two others standing, the one on this side of the bank of the stream, and the other on that side of the bank of the stream.
5 Então eu, Daniel, olhei; e eis que lá estavam outros dois, um neste lado da margem do rio e o outro naquele lado da margem do rio.
6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
6 E um disse para o homem vestido em linho, que estava sobre as águas do rio: Quanto tempo será até o fim destas maravilhas?
7 Then heard I the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream; and he lifted up his right hand and his left hand unto the heavens, and swore by the Everliving One that after a time, times, and a half, and when there shall be an end to the crushing of the power of the holy people, all these things shall be ended.
7 E eu ouvi o homem vestido em linho, que estava sobre as águas do rio, quando ele levantou a sua mão direita e sua mão esquerda ao céu, e jurou por aquele que vive para sempre, que isto será por um tempo, tempos e uma metade; e quando ele tiver cumprido a dispersão do poder do povo santo, todas estas coisas estarão terminadas.
8 And I heard indeed, but I understood it not: then said I, O my lord, what shall be the end of these things?
8 E eu ouvi, porém não entendi; então eu disse: Ó meu Senhor, qual será o fim destas coisas?
9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel; for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
9 E ele disse: Segue teu caminho Daniel, pois as palavras estão fechadas e seladas até o tempo do fim.
10 Many shall be selected and cleansed, and purified; but the wicked will deal wickedly, and none of the wicked will understand: but the intelligent will understand.
10 Muitos serão purificados, e embranquecidos, e provados; mas o perverso fará perversidades, e nenhum dos perversos entenderá, porém os sábios entenderão.
11 And from the time that the continual sacrifice will be removed, even to set up the desolating abomination, there will be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
11 E do tempo em que o sacrifício diário for retirado e a abominação da desolação estabelecida, haverá mil duzentos e noventa dias.
12 Happy is he that waiteth, and attaineth to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
12 Bendito é aquele que espera e chega aos mil trezentos e cinco, e trinta dias.
13 But thou, go thy way toward the end; and thou shalt rest, and arise again for thy lot at the end of the days.
13 Porém segue tu o teu caminho até o final; pois tu descansarás e estarás na tua porção ao final dos dias.
