1 And David assembled all the princes of Israel, the princes of the tribes, and the captains of the divisions that ministered to the king, and the captains of the thousands, and the captains of the hundreds, and the rulers of all the property and the cattle of the king and of his sons, with the courtservants, and the mighty men, and with all the valiant men of the army, unto Jerusalem.
1 Então, Davi convocou para Jerusalém todos os príncipes de Israel, os príncipes das tribos, os capitães dos turnos que serviam o rei, os capitães de mil e os de cem, os administradores de toda a fazenda e possessões do rei e de seus filhos, como também os oficiais, os poderosos e todo homem valente.
2 Then arose king David upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people! I had in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and for the footstool of our God, and I had made preparations to build;
2 Pôs-se o rei Davi em pé e disse: Ouvi-me, irmãos meus e povo meu: Era meu propósito de coração edificar uma casa de repouso para a arca da Aliança do Senhor e para o estrado dos pés do nosso Deus, e eu tinha feito o preparo para a edificar.
3 But God said unto me, Thou shalt not build a house unto my name; because thou art a man of war, and blood hast thou shed.
3 Porém Deus me disse: Não edificarás casa ao meu nome, porque és homem de guerra e derramaste muito sangue.
4 Yet the Lord the God of Israel made choice of me out of all the house of my father to be king over Israel for ever; for of Judah had he made choice as ruler, and among the house of Judah, of the house of my father; and among the sons of my father had he pleasure in me to make me king over all Israel:
4 O Senhor , Deus de Israel, me escolheu de toda a casa de meu pai, para que eternamente fosse eu rei sobre Israel; porque a Judá escolheu por príncipe e a casa de meu pai, na casa de Judá; e entre os filhos de meu pai se agradou de mim, para me fazer rei sobre todo o Israel.
5 And of all my sons,for the Lord hath given me many sons, hath he made choice of Solomon my son, to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel.
5 E, de todos os meus filhos, porque muitos filhos me deu o Senhor , escolheu ele a Salomão para se assentar no trono do reino do Senhor , sobre Israel.
6 And he hath said unto me, Solomon thy son it is that shall build my house and my courts; for I have made choice of him to be as a son unto me, and I will be indeed to him as a father.
6 E me disse: Teu filho Salomão é quem edificará a minha casa e os meus átrios, porque o escolhi para filho e eu lhe serei por pai.
7 Moreover, I will firmly establish his kingdom for everlasting, if he be strong to execute my commandments and my ordinances as it is this day.
7 Estabelecerei o seu reino para sempre, se perseverar ele em cumprir os meus mandamentos e os meus juízos, como até ao dia de hoje.
8 And now before the eyes of all Israel, the congregation of the Lord, and in the hearing of our God, I admonish you observe and seek for all the commandments of the Lord your God: in order that ye may keep possession of this good land, and leave it for an inheritance unto your children after you forever.
8 Agora, pois, perante todo o Israel, a congregação do Senhor , e perante o nosso Deus, que me ouve, eu vos digo: guardai todos os mandamentos do Senhor , vosso Deus, e empenhai-vos por eles, para que possuais esta boa terra e a deixeis como herança a vossos filhos, para sempre.
9 And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with an entire heart and with a willing soul; for all hearts doth the Lord search, and every imagination of the thoughts doth he understand; if thou seek him, he will let himself be found by thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.
9 Tu, meu filho Salomão, conhece o Deus de teu pai e serve-o de coração íntegro e alma voluntária; porque o Senhor esquadrinha todos os corações e penetra todos os desígnios do pensamento. Se o buscares, ele deixará achar-se por ti; se o deixares, ele te rejeitará para sempre.
10 See now that the Lord hath made choice of thee to build a house for the sanctuary: be strong and do it.
10 Agora, pois, atende a tudo, porque o Senhor te escolheu para edificares casa para o santuário; sê forte e faze a obra.
11 Then gave David to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of its apartments, and of its treasuries, and of upper chambers, and of its inner chambers, and of the place of the cover of the ark.
11 Deu Davi a Salomão, seu filho, a planta do pórtico com as suas casas, as suas tesourarias, os seus cenáculos e as suas câmaras interiores, como também da casa do propiciatório.
12 And the pattern of all that he had in his spirit, concerning the courts of the house of the Lord, and concerning all the chambers round about, concerning the treasuries of the house of God, and concerning the treasuries of the holy things:
12 Também a planta de tudo quanto tinha em mente, com referência aos átrios da Casa do Senhor , e a todas as câmaras em redor, para os tesouros da Casa de Deus e para os tesouros das coisas consagradas;
13 Also concerning the divisions of the priests and the Levites, and concerning all the work of the service of the house of the Lord, and concerning all the vessels of service of the house of the Lord;
13 e para os turnos dos sacerdotes e dos levitas, e para toda obra do ministério da Casa do Senhor , e para todos os utensílios para o serviço da Casa do Senhor ,
14 Concerning the golden vessels, after the weight of the gold, for all the vessels of all manner of service; concerning all the vessels of silver after the weight, for all the vessels of every kind of service;
14 especificando o peso do ouro para todos os utensílios de ouro de cada serviço; também o peso da prata para todos os utensílios de prata de cada serviço;
15 Also the weight for the candlesticks of gold, and for their lamps of gold, after the weight for every candlestick, and for its lamps; and concerning the candlesticks of silver after the weight, for the candlestick, and for its lamps, according to the use of every candlestick;
15 o peso para os candeeiros de ouro e suas lâmpadas de ouro, para cada candeeiro e suas lâmpadas, segundo o uso de cada um;
16 And the gold after the weight for the tables of the rows of shewbread, for every table; and the silver for the tables of silver;
16 também o peso do ouro para as mesas da proposição, para cada uma de per si; como também a prata para as mesas de prata;
17 Also concerning the forks, and the bowls, and the supporters of pure gold; and concerning the golden cups after the weight for every cup; and concerning the silver cups after the weight for every cup;
17 ouro puro para os garfos, para as bacias e para os copos; para as taças de ouro o devido peso a cada uma, como também para as taças de prata, a cada uma o seu peso;
18 And concerning the altar of incense the refined gold after the weight; and concerning the pattern of the chariot of the golden cherubim, which spread out their wings, and over the ark of the covenant of the Lord.
18 o peso do ouro refinado para o altar do incenso, como também, segundo a planta, o ouro para o carro dos querubins, que haviam de estender as asas e cobrir a arca da Aliança do Senhor .
19 All this, said David, was put in writing from the hand of the Lord, who gave me instruction respecting all the works of the pattern.
19 Tudo isto, disse Davi, me foi dado por escrito por mandado do Senhor , a saber, todas as obras desta planta.
20 And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong, and of good courage, and do the work; fear not, and be not dismayed; for the Lord God, yea, my God is with thee: he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.
20 Disse Davi a Salomão, seu filho: Sê forte e corajoso e faze a obra; não temas, nem te desanimes, porque o Senhor Deus, meu Deus, há de ser contigo; não te deixará, nem te desamparará, até que acabes todas as obras para o serviço da Casa do Senhor .
21 And, behold, the divisions of the priests and the Levites are there for all the service of the house of God; and with thee are in all manner of workmanship all kinds of men distinguished in wisdom, for every manner of service; and the princes and all the people are ready to obey all thy words.
21 Eis aí os turnos dos sacerdotes e dos levitas para todo serviço da Casa de Deus; também se acham contigo, para toda obra, voluntários com sabedoria de toda espécie para cada serviço; como também os príncipes e todo o povo estarão inteiramente às tuas ordens.
