1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.

2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,

5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 mindáyavena naaóvá'á Áánútun-aai aúváívimba agaimaréna sénamináímbá Ísu Káráísitintavena simái agaimakáiye.
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Áánútun-aaiyave'a áraire sé'a kwenká'á agevamái máyáawai minóntánkó anómban-iye kwésevo Áánútun-aaiyavesa íma áraire kwésewai minóntánkóntávésa íma mirán-áímbá kwésewe. mindáyavena Áánútun-aai aúváívimba agaimaréna sénaagaimaréna siráiye.
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 moóráva'a agaimaréna sénaagaimaréna siráiye. tanaambó vaantembá Áánútun-aai araaisésa miráumai tanaambá kwévaawe. ááéma íma mirá uráanka'a Áánútu séna mirá ónááowe siráinka'a pósa miráumai tanaambá kwévaawe.
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 miwí Áánútun-aai arááíráavo íma mirá é'a mimbórá-ándá-kwáásíráámbá é'a Áánútu ítámakain-kwaasi é'a anóndakona mono'-máyáí-kwáásí é'a Áánútundei-i'a umátínkarain-kwaasi owaná Áánútu túnkwiyan-ayampakemba kwená ságayan-ayampa'a mégwétinkaisa'a ó'oran-kawe'-mayai máyáin-aimba kosimátíma'mae naaónááontavena ítámakaiye.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 ááéma íma Áánútuna kwaási-i'a uré'a ívé'a kwená kwaási-i'a owaná ááéma íma arumbá umátínkaraimba isaná ívé'a arumbá kwéumatinkaiye.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 kesí kwaásiyono. ó'om-baravaken-kwaasi pó'a marapá'á kwááyu mé'a mindáyave'a marapá-tántáátávésa tirááíyavesamo kwéomba tínaaemba umátime'a ímo tínaaembo umátimiyanamo éna mintántáákó tavisimái kentí imáyáa sáwí'a umátinkaniye.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Áánútunopa'o ímo tiráán-kwaasivimba mé'a kaweré su'mai úmae iyíyasa sáwí'a kwéowe suwááesa kentí kawe'-máyáí tuwánésa pósa Áánútuma marapá-kwáásíyávéna imáyáa índa-kanaavimba kogwantésa kwenáwí'a mósá maránááowe.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Ísóigonatave'a imáyáa é'a marapá'ó kárákwiraan-anon-kwaasi tísamaivimba áíkwiye'a aiva'ó kárákwiraiwai aísamaivimba áíkwiye'a

14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Áánútu maarámó ónááontavena arááíma kwétaiye. kawe'ó íyasamo ésa sáwí-imayaavinkembo úwoi-aimbo kwésewai táái kentí kawe'-máyáígó itáníye.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Áánútu kentí sáwí-imayaago tátokaimpinkemba iyátínkaraisana póna íma tátokaisa'a mé'a miráumaimo máyáamba íma aúpá'á sáwí'a kwée'a Áánútuna mayáí-kwáásí pó'a kwemó sintení'a kwée'a
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 amáparawaiyave'a imáyáa é'a Áánútuna kwaási kentí kwaásivimba kentirumbá kwétime'a Áánútu áároi kwéinkaise'a mé'a marapá'ó kárakwiraiwai áái mósá máráaro.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 mayáí-kwáásíyóno. kentí anón-kwaasi táái isé'a síyanteni'a mirán-oro. íma kawer-ánón-kwáásí tááiye su'mai isé'a túwáávitemo íyan-anon-kwaasi tááigwara'a ísáaro.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 keinárawa'o ímo sáwí'o íyasamo umbai-yántáá'ó úwoimo timíya'o Áánútuntave'a imáyáa é'a asiramáímo méwanamo éna Áánútu kawe'á umátinkaniye.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 ánivo sáwí'o íyasamo tínkamiyambo aánoumaimo méwanamo éna Áánútu kentúwí'a íma mósá maráníye. ánivo kawe'ó íyasamo tínkamiya'o asiramáímo méwanamo éna Áánútu kawe'á umátinkaniye.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Ísu Káráísitimba áí'a úni'a umánkaraamba keinárawatavena imáyáa éna asiramái ména mirán-ámbá agaráátínkaraimba pó'a mirán-oro. mirá ónááontavena Áánútu tááyaraiye.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Áánútun-aai aúváívimba agaimaréna sénaÍsuntavena mináímbá agaimaréna siráiye.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 simái sáwí'a umánkowana anondá íma sáwí'a umátinkowasa áí'a úni'a umánkowana anondá sáwí-meyamba mayánááowe íma simátimena arupí umai-meyambo timíníwaina imáyáa asiramái uráiye.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Ísu Káráísiti sáwítaamo uráunda-meyamba maimaéna taaira'á pukáiye. sáwí'o kwéundaya sínaaemba umámeta arupí umáíya ménaundayavenaya pukáiye. kwenáúmo sáwí'o umánkaraantavena póna kentáá kawe'á umásínkaraiye.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 keinárawa'a uwóváguraawana tí'maena tisa'á keinárawaka'a kárákwiraiwaina aampa'á kwégwaraawe.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
