1 To the Chief Musician. With stringed instruments. According to sheminith. A Psalm of David. O LORD, rebuke me not in your anger, neither chasten me in your hot displeasure.
1 Ó S enhor , não me repreendas em tua ira, nem me disciplines em tua fúria.
2 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are troubled.
2 Tem compaixão de mim, S enhor , pois estou fraco; cura-me, S
3 My soul is also greatly troubled: but you, O LORD, how long?
3 Meu coração está muito angustiado; S
4 Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for your mercies' sake.
4 Volta-te, S enhor , e livra-me! Salva-me por causa do teu amor.
5 For in death there is no remembrance of you: in the grave who shall give you thanks?
5 Pois os mortos não se lembram de ti; quem te louvará da sepultura?
6 I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed wet with tears; I water my couch with my tears.
6 Estou exausto de tanto gemer; à noite inundo a cama de tanto chorar, e de lágrimas a encharco.
7 My eye is consumed because of grief; it grows old because of all my enemies.
7 A tristeza me embaça a vista; meus olhos estão cansados por causa de todos os meus inimigos.
8 Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity; for the LORD has heard the voice of my weeping.
8 Afastem-se de mim, todos vocês que praticam o mal, pois o S
9 The LORD has heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.

10 Let all my enemies be ashamed and greatly troubled: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.
10 Sejam humilhados e aterrorizados todos os meus inimigos; recuem de repente, envergonhados.
