1 A song of ascents. I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from which comes my help.
1 Elevo os meus olhos para os montes: de onde me virá o socorro?
2 My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
2 O meu socorro vem do Senhor , que fez o céu e a terra.
3 He will not allow your foot to be moved: he that keeps you will not slumber.
3 Ele não permitirá que os seus pés vacilem; não dormitará aquele que guarda você.
4 Behold, he that keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
4 É certo que não dormita, nem dorme o guarda de Israel.
5 The LORD is your keeper: the LORD is your shade upon your right hand.
5 O Senhor é quem guarda você; o
6 The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.
6 De dia não lhe fará mal o sol, nem de noite, a lua.
7 The LORD shall preserve you from all evil: he shall preserve your soul.
7 O Senhor guardará você de todo mal; guardará a sua alma.
8 The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.
8 O Senhor guardará a sua saída e a sua entrada, desde agora e para sempre.
