1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
1 Disse mais o Senhor a Moisés:
2 Again, you shall say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that gives any of his children unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
2 Também dirás aos filhos de Israel: Qualquer dos filhos de Israel, ou dos estrangeiros que peregrinam em Israel, que der de seus filhos a Moloque será morto; o povo da terra o apedrejará.
3 And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he has given of his children unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
3 Voltar-me-ei contra esse homem, e o eliminarei do meio do seu povo, porquanto deu de seus filhos a Moloque, contaminando, assim, o meu santuário e profanando o meu santo nome.
4 And if the people of the land do in any way hide their eyes from the man, when he gives of his children unto Molech, and kill him not:
4 Se o povo da terra fechar os olhos para não ver esse homem, quando der de seus filhos a Moloque, e o não matar,
5 Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that play the harlot with him, to commit harlotryafter Molech, from among their people.
5 então, eu me voltarei contra esse homem e contra a sua família e o eliminarei do meio do seu povo, com todos os que após ele se prostituem com Moloque.
6 And the soul that turns after mediums, and after wizards, to play the harlot after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.
6 Quando alguém se virar para os necromantes e feiticeiros, para se prostituir com eles, eu me voltarei contra ele e o eliminarei do meio do seu povo.
7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be you holy: for I am the LORD your God.
7 Portanto, santificai-vos e sede santos, pois eu sou o Senhor , vosso Deus.
8 And you shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD who sanctifies you.
8 Guardai os meus estatutos e cumpri-os. Eu sou o Senhor , que vos santifico.
9 For every one that curses his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he has cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.
9 Se um homem amaldiçoar a seu pai ou a sua mãe, será morto; amaldiçoou a seu pai ou a sua mãe; o seu sangue cairá sobre ele.
10 And the man that commits adultery with another man's wife, even he that commits adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
10 Se um homem adulterar com a mulher do seu próximo, será morto o adúltero e a adúltera.
11 And the man that lies with his father's wife has uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
11 O homem que se deitar com a mulher de seu pai terá descoberto a nudez de seu pai; ambos serão mortos; o seu sangue cairá sobre eles.
12 And if a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have committed perversion; their blood shall be upon them.
12 Se um homem se deitar com a nora, ambos serão mortos; fizeram confusão; o seu sangue cairá sobre eles.
13 If a man also lies with a man, as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
13 Se também um homem se deitar com outro homem, como se fosse mulher, ambos praticaram coisa abominável; serão mortos; o seu sangue cairá sobre eles.
14 And if a man takes a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burned with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.
14 Se um homem tomar uma mulher e sua mãe, maldade é; a ele e a elas queimarão, para que não haja maldade no meio de vós.
15 And if a man lies with an animal, he shall surely be put to death: and you shall slay the animal.
15 Se também um homem se ajuntar com um animal, será morto; e matarás o animal.
16 And if a woman approaches unto any animal, and lies with it, you shall kill the woman, and the animal: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
16 Se uma mulher se achegar a algum animal e se ajuntar com ele, matarás tanto a mulher como o animal; o seu sangue cairá sobre eles.
17 And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he has uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
17 Se um homem tomar a sua irmã, filha de seu pai ou filha de sua mãe, e vir a nudez dela, e ela vir a dele, torpeza é; portanto, serão eliminados na presença dos filhos do seu povo; descobriu a nudez de sua irmã; levará sobre si a sua iniquidade.
18 And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he has made naked her fountain, and she has uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.
18 Se um homem se deitar com mulher no tempo da enfermidade dela e lhe descobrir a nudez, descobrindo a sua fonte, e ela descobrir a fonte do seu sangue, ambos serão eliminados do meio do seu povo.
19 And you shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother's sister, nor of your father's sister: for he uncovers his near kin: they shall bear theiriniquity.
19 Também a nudez da irmã de tua mãe ou da irmã de teu pai não descobrirás; porquanto descobriu a nudez da sua parenta, sobre si levarão a sua iniquidade.
20 And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he has uncovered his uncle's nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.
20 Também se um homem se deitar com a sua tia, descobriu a nudez de seu tio; seu pecado sobre si levarão; morrerão sem filhos.
21 And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is an unclean thing: he has uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.
21 Se um homem tomar a mulher de seu irmão, imundícia é; descobriu a nudez de seu irmão; ficarão sem filhos.
22 You shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, where I bring you to dwell therein, vomit you not out.
22 Guardai, pois, todos os meus estatutos e todos os meus juízos e cumpri-os, para que vos não vomite a terra para a qual vos levo para habitardes nela.
23 And you shall not walk in the customs of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.
23 Não andeis nos costumes da gente que eu lanço de diante de vós, porque fizeram todas estas coisas; por isso, me aborreci deles.
24 But I have said unto you, you shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that flows with milk and honey: I am the LORD your God, who has separated you from other people.
24 Mas a vós outros vos tenho dito: em herança possuireis a sua terra, e eu vo-la darei para a possuirdes, terra que mana leite e mel. Eu sou o Senhor , vosso Deus, que vos separei dos povos.
25 You shall therefore make a distinction between clean animals and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and you shall not make your souls abominable by animal, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creeps on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.
25 Fareis, pois, distinção entre os animais limpos e os imundos e entre as aves imundas e as limpas; não vos façais abomináveis por causa dos animais, ou das aves, ou de tudo o que se arrasta sobre a terra, as quais coisas apartei de vós, para tê-las por imundas.
26 And you shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have separated you from other people, that you should be mine.
26 Ser-me-eis santos, porque eu, o Senhor , sou santo e separei-vos dos povos, para serdes meus.
27 A man also or woman that is a medium, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.
27 O homem ou mulher que sejam necromantes ou sejam feiticeiros serão mortos; serão apedrejados; o seu sangue cairá sobre eles.
