1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
1 Disse o Senhor a Moisés:
2 Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them; This is the thing which the LORD has commanded, saying,
2 Fala a Arão, e a seus filhos, e a todos os filhos de Israel e dize-lhes: Isto é o que o Senhor ordenou, dizendo:
3 Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, that kills an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that kills it out of the camp,
3 Qualquer homem da casa de Israel que imolar boi, ou cordeiro, ou cabra, no arraial ou fora dele,
4 And brings it not unto the door of the tabernacle of meeting, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he has shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:
4 e os não trouxer à porta da tenda da congregação, como oferta ao Senhor diante do seu tabernáculo, a tal homem será imputada a culpa do sangue; derramou sangue, pelo que esse homem será eliminado do seu povo;
5 To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of meeting, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD.
5 para que os filhos de Israel, trazendo os seus sacrifícios, que imolam em campo aberto, os apresentem ao Senhor , à porta da tenda da congregação, ao sacerdote, e os ofereçam por sacrifícios pacíficos ao Senhor .
6 And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and burn the fat for a sweet aromaunto the LORD.
6 O sacerdote aspergirá o sangue sobre o altar do Senhor , à porta da tenda da congregação, e queimará a gordura de aroma agradável ao Senhor .
7 And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto demons, after whom they have played the harlot. This shall be a statute forever unto them throughout their generations.
7 Nunca mais oferecerão os seus sacrifícios aos demônios, com os quais eles se prostituem; isso lhes será por estatuto perpétuo nas suas gerações.
8 And you shall say unto them, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn among you, that offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,
8 Dize-lhes, pois: Qualquer homem da casa de Israel ou dos estrangeiros que peregrinam entre vós que oferecer holocausto ou sacrifício
9 And brings it not unto the door of the tabernacle of meeting, to offer it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.
9 e não o trouxer à porta da tenda da congregação, para oferecê-lo ao Senhor , esse homem será eliminado do seu povo.
10 And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eats any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
10 Qualquer homem da casa de Israel ou dos estrangeiros que peregrinam entre vós que comer algum sangue, contra ele me voltarei e o eliminarei do seu povo.
11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes an atonement for the soul.
11 Porque a vida da carne está no sangue. Eu vo-lo tenho dado sobre o altar, para fazer expiação pela vossa alma, porquanto é o sangue que fará expiação em virtude da vida.
12 Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourns among you eat blood.
12 Portanto, tenho dito aos filhos de Israel: nenhuma alma de entre vós comerá sangue, nem o estrangeiro que peregrina entre vós o comerá.
13 And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, who hunts and catches any animal or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.
13 Qualquer homem dos filhos de Israel ou dos estrangeiros que peregrinam entre vós que caçar animal ou ave que se come derramará o seu sangue e o cobrirá com pó.
14 For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, You shall eat the blood of no kind of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eats it shall be cut off.
14 Portanto, a vida de toda carne é o seu sangue; por isso, tenho dito aos filhos de Israel: não comereis o sangue de nenhuma carne, porque a vida de toda carne é o seu sangue; qualquer que o comer será eliminado.
15 And every soul that eats that which died of itself, or that which was torn by animals, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening: then shall he be clean.
15 Todo homem, quer natural, quer estrangeiro, que comer o que morre por si ou dilacerado lavará as suas vestes, banhar-se-á em água e será imundo até à tarde; depois, será limpo.
16 But if he washes them not, nor bathes his flesh; then he shall bear his iniquity.
16 Mas, se não as lavar, nem banhar o corpo, levará sobre si a sua iniquidade.
