1 ಯೇಸು ಬೇರೆ ಕೆಲವು ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಮ್ಯಗಳ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು:
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 “ಪರಲೋಕರಾಜ್ಯವು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನ ಮದುವೆಯನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿದ ಒಬ್ಬ ರಾಜನಿಗೆ ಹೋಲಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 ಆ ರಾಜನು ಕೆಲವು ಜನರನ್ನು ಔತಣಕ್ಕೆ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿದನು. ಅಡಿಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾದ ಬಳಿಕ ರಾಜನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರ ಮೂಲಕ ಆ ಜನರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಔತಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 “ಆಮೇಲೆ ರಾಜನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೆಲವು ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಕರೆದು, ‘ಈ ಜನರನ್ನು ನಾನು ಆಗಲೇ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ಔತಣವು ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಡಿಗೆಗಾಗಿ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದ ಎತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಕರುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ. ಮದುವೆ ಔತಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬನ್ನಿ ಎಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 “ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಸೇವಕರು ಹೋಗಿ ಆ ಜನರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಸೇವಕರ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಒಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲು ಹೊರಟುಹೋದನು. ಬೇರೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದನು.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 ಇನ್ನು ಕೆಲವರು ಆ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು, ಹೊಡೆದು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 ಆಗ ರಾಜನು ಬಹು ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಆ ಕೊಲೆಗಾರರನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಿಸಿದನು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟುಹಾಕಿಸಿದನು.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 “ಬಳಿಕ ರಾಜನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ, ‘ಮದುವೆ ಊಟ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ. ನಾನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿದ್ದ ಜನರು ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವಷ್ಟು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಬೀದಿಯ ಮೂಲೆಮೂಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ನೀವು ಕಂಡ ಜನರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಔತಣಕ್ಕೆ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿರಿ’ ಎಂದನು.
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಸೇವಕರು ಬೀದಿಬೀದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ತಾವು ಕಂಡ ಜನರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರು, ಕೆಟ್ಟವರು ಎನ್ನದೆ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸಿ ಊಟ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದರು. ಆ ಸ್ಥಳವು ಜನರಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಹೋಯಿತು.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “ಆಗ ರಾಜನು ಜನರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ನೋಡಲು ಒಳಗೆ ಬಂದನು. ಮದುವೆಗೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾದ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿಲ್ಲದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ರಾಜನು ಕಂಡು,
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 ‘ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನೇ, ನೀನು ಒಳಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಬಂದೆ? ನೀನು ಮದುವೆಗೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾದ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿಲ್ಲವಲ್ಲಾ’ ಅಂದನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಉತ್ತರ ನೀಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 ಆಗ ರಾಜನು ಕೆಲವು ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ, ‘ಇವನ ಕೈಕಾಲು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಹೊರಗೆ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಎಸೆಯಿರಿ’ ಅಂದನು. ಆ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ಗೋಳಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಬಾಧೆಯಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವರು.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 “ಹೌದು, ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು ಅನೇಕರಾದರೂ ಆರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು ಕೆಲವರು ಮಾತ್ರ.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 ಆಗ ಫರಿಸಾಯರು, ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಮಾತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿಯಲು ಉಪಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.

16 ಫರಿಸಾಯರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ವಂಚಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಫರಿಸಾಯರ ಹಿಂಬಾಲಕರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಇನ್ನು ಕೆಲವರು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಂಗಡಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಜನರು, “ಬೋಧಕನೇ, ನೀನು ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಂತನೆಂದು ನಾವು ಬಲ್ಲೆವು. ನೀನು ದೇವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಕುರಿತು ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನೇ ಬೋಧಿಸುವೆ ಎಂಬುದು ನಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆ. ಬೇರೆಯವರು ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಏನೇ ಯೋಚಿಸಿದರೂ ನೀನು ಹೆದರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನೀನು ಮುಖದಾಕ್ಷಿಣ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸು. ಸೀಸರನಿಗೆ ತೆರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವುದು ಸರಿಯೋ ಅಥವಾ ತಪ್ಪೋ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 ಈ ಜನರ ಕುತಂತ್ರವು ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿತ್ತು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆತನು, “ನೀವು ಕಪಟಿಗಳು! ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಸಲು ಏಕೆ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 ತೆರಿಗೆಗಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವ ಒಂದು ನಾಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿರಿ” ಎಂದನು. ಜನರು ಒಂದು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ನಾಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ಆತನಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 ಆಗ ಆತನು, “ನಾಣ್ಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾರ ಮುಖಚಿತ್ರವಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಯಾರ ಹೆಸರಿದೆ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 ಜನರು, “ಅದು ಸೀಸರನ ಮುಖಚಿತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಸರು” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 ಯೇಸು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ ಆ ಜನರು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಚಕಿತರಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದರು.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ಸದ್ದುಕಾಯರು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, (ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬುದು ಸದ್ದುಕಾಯರ ನಂಬಿಕೆ.)

24 “ಬೋಧಕನೇ, ವಿವಾಹಿತನೊಬ್ಬನು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯದೆ ಸತ್ತರೆ, ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ಅವನ ತಮ್ಮನು ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅಣ್ಣನಿಗಾಗಿ ಸಂತಾನ ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮೋಶೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಏಳು ಮಂದಿ ಸಹೋದರರಿದ್ದರು. ಮೊದಲನೆಯವನು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿ ಸತ್ತನು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರನು ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾದನು.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 ಬಳಿಕ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಸಹೋದರನೂ ಸತ್ತನು. ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಮೂರನೆಯ ಸಹೋದರನಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಉಳಿದೆಲ್ಲ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೂ ಆಯಿತು.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಹೆಂಗಸೂ ಸತ್ತಳು.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 ಆದರೆ ಏಳು ಮಂದಿಯೂ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಮದುವೆ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು. ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಮರಣದಿಂದ ಮೇಲೇಳುವಾಗ ಅವಳು ಯಾರ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗಿರುವಳು?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 ಯೇಸು, “ನೀವು ತಪ್ಪಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರಲು ಕಾರಣವೇನೆಂದರೆ, ಪವಿತ್ರ ಗ್ರಂಥವು ಏನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ದೇವರ ಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಪುರುಷರು ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನ ಹೊಂದಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಪರಲೋಕದ ದೇವದೂತರಂತೆ ಇರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 ಸತ್ತವರ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನದ ಕುರಿತು ದೇವರು,
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 ‘ನಾನು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ದೇವರು, ಇಸಾಕನ ದೇವರು ಮತ್ತು ಯಾಕೋಬನ ದೇವರು’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಓದಿಲ್ಲವೇ? ಹೀಗಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ, ದೇವರು ಜೀವಿತರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ದೇವರೇ ಹೊರತು ಸತ್ತವರಿಗಲ್ಲಾ” ಅಂದನು.
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಆತನ ಬೋಧನೆಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಾಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟರು.
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 ಸದ್ದುಕಾಯರು ಪ್ರತಿವಾದ ಮಾಡಲಾಗದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೇಸು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನೆಂಬುದು ಫರಿಸಾಯರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದು ಅವರು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು.
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 ಮೋಶೆಯ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೀಣನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಫರಿಸಾಯನೊಬ್ಬನು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲು,
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 “ಬೋಧಕನೇ, ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ಯಾವುದು?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 ಯೇಸು, “‘ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರಭುವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಬೇಕು. ನೀನು ಆತನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣಹೃದಯದಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣಪ್ರಾಣದಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಬೇಕು.’
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 ಇದೇ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಮುಖವಾದ ಆಜ್ಞೆ.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 ಎರಡನೆಯ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯು ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯಷ್ಟೇ ಪ್ರಮುಖವಾಗಿದೆ. ‘ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವಂತೆಯೇ ನೆರೆಯವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಬೇಕು’ ಎಂಬುದೇ ಆ ಆಜ್ಞೆ.
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 ಇಡೀ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗ್ರಂಥಗಳು ಈ ಎರಡು ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನೇ ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿವೆ” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 ಫರಿಸಾಯರು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ,
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 “ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯೇನು? ಆತನು ಯಾರ ಮಗನು?” ಎಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 ಆಗ ಯೇಸುವು ಫರಿಸಾಯರಿಗೆ, “ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಆತನನ್ನು ‘ಪ್ರಭು’ ಎಂದು ಏಕೆ ಕರೆದನು? ದಾವೀದನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಾತ್ಮನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದನು. ದಾವೀದನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ:
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 ‘ಪ್ರಭು (ದೇವರು) ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಭುವಿಗೆ (ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಿಗೆ),
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 ದಾವೀದನು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನನ್ನು ‘ಪ್ರಭು’ ಎಂದು ಕರೆದಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಆತನು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಮಗನಾಗಲು ಹೇಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯ?” ಅಂದನು.
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡಲು ಫರಿಸಾಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ವಂಚಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಕೇಳಲು ಯಾರೂ ಧೈರ್ಯಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
