¹ O come, let us bring joy unto the LORD; let us sing with joy unto the rock of our saving health.

¹ Vinde, manifestemos nossa alegria ao Senhor, aclamemos o Rochedo de nossa salvação;

² Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving and sing unto him with joy.

² apresentemo-nos diante dele com louvores, e cantemos-lhe alegres cânticos,

³ For the LORD [is] a great God and a great King above all gods.

³ porque o Senhor é um Deus imenso, um rei que ultrapassa todos os deuses;

⁴ In his hand [are] the deep places of the earth; the heights of the mountains [are] his also.

⁴ nas suas mãos estão as profundezas da terra, e os cumes das montanhas lhe pertencem.

⁵ The sea [is] his, and he made it; and his hands formed the dry [land].

⁵ Dele é o mar, ele o criou; assim como a terra firme, obra de suas mãos.

⁶ O come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

⁶ Vinde, inclinemo-nos em adoração, de joelhos diante do Senhor que nos criou.

⁷ For he [is] our God, and we [are] the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand. Today if ye will hear his voice,

⁷ Ele é nosso Deus; nós somos o povo de que ele é o pastor, as ovelhas que as suas mãos conduzem. Oxalá ouvísseis hoje a sua voz:

⁸ harden not your heart, as in the provocation [and] as [in] the day of trials in the wilderness

⁸ Não vos torneis endurecidos como em Meribá, como no dia de Massá no deserto,

⁹ When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

⁹ onde vossos pais me provocaram e me tentaram, apesar de terem visto as minhas obras.

¹⁰ Forty years long I was grieved with [this] generation and said, It [is] a people that err from the heart, who have not known my ways;

¹⁰ Durante quarenta anos desgostou-me aquela geração, e eu disse: É um povo de coração desviado, que não conhece os meus desígnios.

¹¹ unto whom I swore in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.:

¹¹ Por isso, jurei na minha cólera: Não hão de entrar no lugar do meu repouso.
