¹ Favoreceste a tua terra, Senhor ; restauraste a prosperidade de Jacó.

² Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people; thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

² Perdoaste a iniquidade de teu povo, encobriste todos os seus pecados.

³ Thou hast taken away all thy wrath; thou hast turned [thyself] from the fierceness of thine anger.

³ A tua indignação, reprimiste-a toda; do furor da tua ira te desviaste.

⁴ Turn us, O God our saving health and cause thine anger toward us to cease.

⁴ Restabelece-nos, ó Deus da nossa salvação, e retira de sobre nós a tua ira.

⁵ Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou extend thine anger from generation to generation?

⁵ Estarás para sempre irado contra nós? Prolongarás a tua ira por todas as gerações?

⁶ Wilt thou not give us life again that thy people may rejoice in thee?

⁶ Será que não tornarás a vivificar-nos, para que em ti se alegre o teu povo?

⁷ Show us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy saving health.

⁷ Mostra-nos, Senhor , a tua misericórdia e concede-nos a tua salvação.

⁸ I will hear what God the LORD will speak, for he will speak peace unto his people and to his saints, that they not turn again to folly.

⁸ Escutarei o que Deus, o pois falará de paz ao seu povo e aos seus santos; e que jamais caiam em insensatez.

⁹ Surely his saving health [is] near those that fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.

⁹ Próxima está a salvação dos que o temem, para que a glória habite em nossa terra.

¹⁰ Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed [each other].

¹⁰ A graça e a verdade se encontraram, a justiça e a paz se beijaram.

¹¹ Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from the heavens.

¹¹ Da terra brota a verdade, dos céus a justiça baixa o seu olhar.

¹² The LORD shall give [that which is] good, and our land shall bring forth her fruit.

¹² Também o Senhor dará o que é bom, e a nossa terra produzirá o seu fruto.

¹³ Righteousness shall go before him and shall set his steps in the way.:

¹³ A justiça irá adiante do Senhor , cujas pegadas ela transforma em caminhos.
