¹ Salmo de Asaf. Levanta-se Deus na assembléia divina, entre os deuses profere o seu julgamento.

² How long will ye judge unjustly and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.

² Até quando julgareis iniquamente, favorecendo a causa dos ímpios?

³ Do right concerning the poor and fatherless; do justice to the poor and destitute.

³ Defendei o oprimido e o órfão, fazei justiça ao humilde e ao pobre,

⁴ Deliver the poor and destitute; deliver [them] out of the hand of the wicked.

⁴ livrai o oprimido e o necessitado, tirai-o das garras dos ímpios.

⁵ They do not know, neither do they understand; they walk in darkness; they move all the foundations of the earth.

⁵ Eles não querem saber nem compreender, andam nas trevas, vacilam os fundamentos da terra.

⁶ I have said, Ye [are] gods; and all of you [are] sons of the most High.

⁶ Eu disse: Sois deuses, sois todos filhos do Altíssimo.

⁷ But ye shall die like men and fall like one of the tyrants.

⁷ Contudo, morrereis como simples homens e, como qualquer príncipe, caireis.

⁸ Arise, O God, judge the earth, for thou shalt inherit all the Gentiles.:

⁸ Levantai-vos, Senhor, para julgar a terra, porque são vossas todas as nações.
