¹ Faze-me justiça, Senhor , pois tenho andado na minha integridade e confio no

² Examine me, O LORD and prove me; melt my kidneys and my heart.

² Examina-me, Senhor , e prova-me; sonda o meu coração e os meus pensamentos.

³ For thy mercy [is] before my eyes, and I walk in thy truth.

³ Pois a tua misericórdia, tenho-a diante dos olhos e tenho andado na tua verdade.

⁴ I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with hypocrites.

⁴ Não me tenho assentado com gente falsa e com os hipócritas não me associo.

⁵ I have hated the congregation of evil doers and will not sit with the wicked.

⁵ Detesto a assembleia dos malfeitores e com os ímpios não me assento.

⁶ I will wash my hands in innocency, so I will walk near unto thine altar, O LORD:

⁶ Lavo as mãos na inocência e, assim, andarei, ao redor do teu altar,

⁷ That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving and tell of all thy wondrous works.

⁷ para entoar, com voz alta, os louvores e proclamar todas as tuas maravilhas.

⁸ LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house and the place of the tabernacle of thy glory.

⁸ Eu amo, Senhor , a habitação de tua casa e o lugar onde a tua glória reside.

⁹ Gather not my soul with the sinners, nor my life with those who have blood [on their hands]:

⁹ Não colhas a minha alma com a dos pecadores, nem a minha vida com a dos sanguinários,

¹⁰ In whose hands [are] wicked devices, and their right hand is full of bribes.

¹⁰ em cujas mãos há crimes e cuja mão direita está cheia de subornos.

¹¹ But as for me, I will walk in my integrity; ransom me and be merciful unto me.
