2 Praise ye him, all his angels; praise ye him, all his hosts.
2 Louvem-no, todos os seus anjos! Louvem-no, todos os exércitos celestiais!
3 Praise ye him, sun and moon; praise him, all ye stars of light.
3 Louvem-no, sol e lua! Louvem-no, todas as estrelas brilhantes!
4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens and ye waters that [are] above the heavens.
4 Louvem-no, altos céus! Louvem-no, vapores acima das nuvens!
5 Let them praise the name of the LORD; for he commanded, and they were created.
5 Todas as coisas criadas louvem o nome do S enhor , pois ele ordenou, e elas vieram a existir.
6 He has established them for ever and ever: he has made a law which shall not be broken.
6 Ele as pôs em seu lugar para todo o sempre; seu decreto jamais será revogado.
7 Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons and all deeps,
7 Louvem o S enhor desde a terra, vocês criaturas das profundezas do oceano,
8 fire and hail; snow and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word,
8 fogo e granizo, neve e nuvens, ventos tempestuosos que lhe obedecem,
9 mountains and all hills; fruitful trees and all cedars,
9 montanhas e colinas, árvores frutíferas e cedros,
10 beasts and all animals; creeping things and flying fowl,
10 animais selvagens e domésticos, seres que rastejam e os que voam,
11 kings of the earth and all the peoples, princes and all judges of the earth,
11 reis da terra e todos os povos, governantes e juízes da terra,
12 both young men and maidens, the old with the children,
12 rapazes e moças, idosos e crianças.
13 Let them praise the name of the LORD; for his name alone is excellent; his glory [is] above earth and heavens.
13 Louvem todos o nome do S enhor , pois exaltado é seu nome; sua glória está acima da terra e dos céus!
14 [He] has exalted the horn of his people; let all his merciful ones praise him; [even] of the sons of Israel, the people near unto him. Halelu-JAH.:
