1 Woe unto those that devise iniquity and fabricate evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they put it into effect because they have power in their hands.
1 “Ai daqueles que, ainda no seu leito, imaginam a iniquidade e planejam o mal! Ao amanhecer, eles o praticam, porque têm poder para tanto.
2 And they coveted fields and stole them, and houses and took [them] away; so they oppressed the man and his house, even the man and his heritage.
2 Cobiçam campos e se apossam deles; cobiçam casas e as tomam; assim, fazem violência a um homem e à sua casa, a uma pessoa e à sua herança.”
3 Therefore thus hath the LORD said; Behold, I devise an evil against this family, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye walk haughtily; for the time shall be evil.
3 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor : “Eis que estou forjando uma calamidade contra esta família, da qual vocês não livrarão o seu pescoço. Vocês não andarão mais de cabeça erguida, porque será um tempo de calamidade.
4 In that time shall [one] take up a saying against you and lament with a doleful lamentation [and] say, We have been utterly destroyed; he has changed the portion of my people; how has he taken our fields! He has given and [divided our fields unto others].
4 Naquele dia, se criará um provérbio a respeito de vocês e se entoará a seguinte lamentação: ‘Estamos completamente arruinados! A porção do meu povo, Deus a trocou! Como ele tirou o que era nosso! Entregou os nossos campos aos rebeldes!’
5 Therefore thou shalt have no one to cast a cord by lot in the congregation of the LORD.
5 Portanto, na congregação do quando a terra for dividida por sorteio, vocês não receberão nem uma parte dela.”
6 Do not prophesy, [they say to] those that prophesy: Do not prophesy unto them [that] they are to understand shame.
6 “Eles dizem: ‘Não profetizem. Não profetizem tais coisas, porque a desgraça não cairá sobre nós.
7 O [thou that] calls thyself the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD shortened? [are] these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walks uprightly?
7 Tais coisas anunciadas não alcançarão a casa de Jacó. Estaria o Espírito do Será que ele agiria assim?’” “De fato, as minhas palavras fazem o bem ao que anda retamente.
8 He who yesterday [was] my people is risen up as an enemy; ye pull off the robe with the garment from those that pass by as those who return from war.
8 Mas, há pouco, o meu povo se levantou como um inimigo. Além da roupa, vocês arrancam a capa daqueles que passam seguros, sem pensar em guerra.
9 Ye have cast the women of my people out from their pleasant houses; from their children ye have taken away my continual praise.
9 Vocês expulsam do seu lar querido as mulheres de meu povo; dos filhinhos delas vocês tiram a minha glória, para sempre.
10 Arise and depart, for this [is] not [your] rest because it is polluted; it has become corrupted and with a great corruption.
10 Levantem-se e vão embora! Porque este não é o lugar de descanso. Vão embora por causa da impureza que traz destruição, sim, destruição enorme.
11 If there is one walking in the spirit of falsehood, he shall lie, [saying], I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.
11 Se alguém, seguindo o vento e a falsidade, inventar uma mentira do tipo: ‘Eu lhes profetizarei a respeito de vinho e de bebida forte’, esse tal será o profeta deste povo.”
12 I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah as [the] flock in the midst of their fold; they shall make great noise by reason of [the multitude of] men.
12 “Certamente eu ajuntarei todos vocês, casa de Jacó; certamente congregarei o remanescente de Israel. Eu os porei todos juntos, como ovelhas no aprisco, como rebanho no meio de sua pastagem; farão muito barulho, por causa da multidão de pessoas.
13 [The] breaker shall go up before them; they shall break through and pass through the gate and go out by it; and their king shall pass before them, the LORD at the head of them.:
13 Diante deles virá o que abre caminho; eles abrirão caminho, entrarão pelo portão e sairão por ele; e o seu Rei irá adiante deles; sim, o à frente deles.”
