Jeremias 24
English Jubilee 2000 Bible (JUBL2000) vs ARA
1 The LORD showed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs [were] set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah and the princes of Judah with the carpenters and smiths from Jerusalem, and had taken them to Babylon.
1 Fez-me ver o Senhor , e vi dois cestos de figos postos diante do templo do Senhor , depois que Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, levou em cativeiro a Jeconias, filho de Jeoaquim, rei de Judá, e os príncipes de Judá, e os artífices, e os ferreiros de Jerusalém e os trouxe à Babilônia.
2 One basket [had] very good figs, [even] like the figs [that are] first ripe: and the other basket [had] very evil figs, which could not be eaten, they were so evil.
2 Tinha um cesto figos muito bons, como os figos temporãos; mas o outro, ruins, que, de ruins que eram, não se podiam comer.
3 Then the LORD said unto me, What dost thou see, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, so evil that they cannot be eaten.
3 Então, me perguntou o Senhor : Que vês tu, Jeremias? Respondi: Figos; os figos muito bons e os muito ruins, que, de ruins que são, não se podem comer.
4 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
4 A mim me veio a palavra do Senhor , dizendo:
5 Thus hath the LORD God of Israel said: Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge those that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for [their] good.
5 Assim diz o Senhor , o Deus de Israel: Do modo por que vejo estes bons figos, assim favorecerei os exilados de Judá, que eu enviei deste lugar para a terra dos caldeus.
6 For I will set my eyes upon them for good, and I will return them to this land, and I will build them, and not pull [them] down; and I will plant them, and not pluck [them] up.
6 Porei sobre eles favoravelmente os olhos e os farei voltar para esta terra; edificá-los-ei e não os destruirei, plantá-los-ei e não os arrancarei.
7 And I will give them a heart that they might know me, that I [am] the LORD; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.
7 Dar-lhes-ei coração para que me conheçam que eu sou o Senhor ; eles serão o meu povo, e eu serei o seu Deus; porque se voltarão para mim de todo o seu coração.
8 And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil, surely thus saith the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah and his princes and the residue of Jerusalem that remained in this land and that dwell in the land of Egypt:
8 Como se rejeitam os figos ruins, que, de ruins que são, não se podem comer, assim tratarei a Zedequias, rei de Judá, diz o Senhor , e a seus príncipes, e ao restante de Jerusalém, tanto aos que ficaram nesta terra como aos que habitam na terra do Egito.
9 And I give them to be removed, for evil unto all the kingdoms of the earth, for infamy, and for reproach and for a proverb, and for a curse unto all the places where I shall drive them.
9 Eu os farei objeto de espanto, calamidade para todos os reinos da terra; opróbrio e provérbio, escárnio e maldição em todos os lugares para onde os arrojarei.
10 And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence upon them until they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.:
10 Enviarei contra eles a espada, a fome e a peste, até que se consumam de sobre a terra que lhes dei, a eles e a seus pais.
