Isaías 54

1 Rejoice, O barren, thou [that] didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud with joy, thou [that] didst not travail with child: for more [shall be] the sons of the desolate than the sons of the married wife, said the LORD.
1 Canta alegremente, ó estéril, que não deste à luz; rompe em cântico, e exclama com alegria, tu que não tiveste dores de parto; porque mais são os filhos da mulher solitária, do que os filhos da casada, diz o SENHOR.
2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
2 Amplia o lugar da tua tenda, e estendam-se as cortinas das tuas habitações; não o impeças; alonga as tuas cordas, e fixa bem as tuas estacas.
3 for thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left, and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
3 Porque transbordarás para a direita e para a esquerda; e a tua descendência possuirá os gentios e fará que sejam habitadas as cidades assoladas.
4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
4 Não temas, porque não serás envergonhada; e não te envergonhes, porque não serás humilhada; antes te esquecerás da vergonha da tua mocidade, e não te lembrarás mais do opróbrio da tua viuvez.
5 For thy Maker [shall be] thine husband; the LORD of the hosts [is] his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
5 Porque o teu Criador é o teu marido; o Senhor dos Exércitos é o seu nome; e o Santo de Israel é o teu Redentor; que é chamado o Deus de toda a terra.
6 For as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit has the LORD called thee, and [as] a young woman who is put away, said thy God.
6 Porque o Senhor te chamou como a mulher desamparada e triste de espírito; como a mulher da mocidade, que fora desprezada, diz o teu Deus.
7 For a small moment I have forsaken thee; but with great mercies I will gather thee.
7 Por um breve momento te deixei, mas com grandes misericórdias te recolherei;
8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with eternal mercy I will have compassion on thee, said the LORD thy Redeemer.
8 Com um pouco de ira escondi a minha face de ti por um momento; mas com benignidade eterna me compadecerei de ti, diz o Senhor, o teu Redentor.
9 For this [is as] the waters of Noah unto me: for [as] I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so I have sworn that I would not be wroth [again] with thee, nor reprehend thee.
9 Porque isto será para mim como as águas de Noé; pois jurei que as águas de Noé não passariam mais sobre a terra; assim jurei que não me irarei mais contra ti, nem te repreenderei.
10 For the mountains shall be removed, and the hills shall tremble; but my mercy shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be changed, said the LORD that has mercy on thee.
10 Porque os montes se retirarão, e os outeiros serão abalados; porém a minha benignidade não se apartará de ti, e a aliança da minha paz não mudará, diz o Senhor que se compadece de ti.
11 O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, [and] not comforted, behold, I will cement thy stones upon carbuncle and lay thy foundations upon sapphires.
11 Tu, oprimida, arrojada com a tormenta e desconsolada, eis que eu assentarei as tuas pedras com todo o ornamento, e te fundarei sobre as safiras.
12 And I will make thy windows of precious stones, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of stones of great price.
12 E farei os teus vitrais de rubis, e as tuas portas de carbúnculos, e todos os teus termos de pedras aprazíveis.
13 And all thy sons [shall be] taught of the LORD; and the peace of thy sons shall be multiplied.
13 E todos os teus filhos serão ensinados do Senhor; e a paz de teus filhos será abundante.
14 With righteousness shalt thou be adorned: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear [it]; and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
14 Com justiça serás estabelecida; estarás longe da opressão, porque já não temerás; e também do terror, porque não chegará a ti.
15 If anyone should conspire against thee, it [shall be] without me, [but] not by me: whosoever would conspire against thee shall fall before thee.
15 Eis que seguramente poderão vir a juntar-se contra ti, mas não será por mim; quem se ajuntar contra ti cairá por causa de ti.
16 Behold, I have created the smith that blows the coals in the fire, and that brings forth the instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
16 Eis que eu criei o ferreiro, que assopra as brasas no fogo, e que produz a ferramenta para a sua obra; também criei o assolador, para destruir.
17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue [that] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This [is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their justice from me, said the LORD.:
17 Toda a ferramenta preparada contra ti não prosperará, e toda a língua que se levantar contra ti em juízo tu a condenarás; esta é a herança dos servos do Senhor, e a sua justiça que de mim procede, diz o Senhor.
