1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew two tables of stone like unto the first; and I will write upon [these] tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou didst break.
1 Então disse o SENHOR a Moisés: Lavra duas tábuas de pedra, como as primeiras; e eu escreverei nas tábuas as mesmas palavras que estavam nas primeiras tábuas, que tu quebraste.
2 And be ready for tomorrow and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai and present thyself there to me in the top of the mount.
2 E prepara-te para amanhã, para que subas pela manhã ao monte Sinai, e ali põe-te diante de mim no cume do monte.
3 And no man shall come up with thee; neither let anyone be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the sheep nor the cows feed before the mount.
3 E ninguém suba contigo, e também ninguém apareça em todo o monte; nem ovelhas nem bois se apascentem defronte do monte.
4 And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first, and Moses rose up early in the morning and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone.
4 Então Moisés lavrou duas tábuas de pedra, como as primeiras; e levantando-se pela manhã de madrugada, subiu ao monte Sinai, como o Senhor lhe tinha ordenado; e levou as duas tábuas de pedra nas suas mãos.
5 And the LORD descended in [a] cloud and was with him there proclaiming the name of I AM.
5 E o Senhor desceu numa nuvem e se pôs ali junto a ele; e ele proclamou o nome do Senhor.
6 And as the LORD passed by before him, he proclaimed, I AM, I AM strong, merciful, and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in mercy and truth,
6 Passando, pois, o Senhor perante ele, clamou: O Senhor, o Senhor Deus, misericordioso e piedoso, tardio em irar-se e grande em beneficência e verdade;
7 keeping mercy for thousands, letting go of iniquity and rebellion and sin; and by no means will I absolve [the guilty], visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons and upon the son's sons, unto the third and to the fourth [generation].
7 Que guarda a beneficência em milhares; que perdoa a iniqüidade, e a transgressão e o pecado; que ao culpado não tem por inocente; que visita a iniqüidade dos pais sobre os filhos e sobre os filhos dos filhos até a terceira e quarta geração.
8 Then Moses made haste and bowed his head toward the earth and worshipped.
8 E Moisés apressou-se, e inclinou a cabeça à terra, adorou,
9 And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray thee, go among us, for this [is] a stiffnecked people, and forgive our iniquity and our sin and possess us.
9 E disse: Senhor, se agora tenho achado graça aos teus olhos, vá agora o Senhor no meio de nós; porque este é povo de dura cerviz; porém perdoa a nossa iniqüidade e o nosso pecado, e toma-nos por tua herança.
10 And he said, Behold, I make a covenant before all thy people: I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom thou [art] shall see the work of the LORD; for it [shall be] a terrible thing that I will do with thee.
10 Então disse: Eis que eu faço uma aliança; farei diante de todo o teu povo maravilhas que nunca foram feitas em toda a terra, nem em nação alguma; de maneira que todo este povo, em cujo meio tu estás, veja a obra do Senhor; porque coisa terrível é o que faço contigo.
11 Keep that which I command thee this day; behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.
11 Guarda o que eu te ordeno hoje; eis que eu lançarei fora diante de ti os amorreus, e os cananeus, e os heteus, e os perizeus, e os heveus e os jebuseus.
12 Keep thyself lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land where thou must enter lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee;
12 Guarda-te de fazeres aliança com os moradores da terra aonde hás de entrar; para que não seja por laço no meio de ti.
13 but ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves;
13 Mas os seus altares derrubareis, e as suas estátuas quebrareis, e os seus bosques cortareis.
14 for thou shalt worship no other god; for the LORD, whose name [is] Jealous, [is] a jealous God.
14 Porque não te inclinarás diante de outro deus; pois o nome do Senhor é Zeloso; é um Deus zeloso.
15 Therefore thou shalt not make a covenant with the inhabitants of that land because they shall fornicate after their gods and do sacrifice unto their gods, and they shall call thee, and thou shalt eat of their sacrifices
15 Para que não faças aliança com os moradores da terra, e quando eles se prostituírem após os seus deuses, ou sacrificarem aos seus deuses, tu, como convidado deles, comas também dos seus sacrifícios,
16 or take of their daughters unto thy sons, and [when] their daughters go fornicating after their gods [they shall] make thy sons also fornicate after their gods.
16 E tomes mulheres das suas filhas para os teus filhos, e suas filhas, prostituindo-se com os seus deuses, façam que também teus filhos se prostituam com os seus deuses.
17 Thou shalt make thee no molten gods.
17 Não te farás deuses de fundição.
18 The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month Abib; for in the month Abib thou didst come out from Egypt.
18 A festa dos pães ázimos guardarás; sete dias comerás pães ázimos, como te tenho ordenado, ao tempo apontado do mês de Abibe; porque no mês de Abibe saíste do Egito.
19 All that opens the womb [is] mine; and every firstborn among thy livestock, [whether] of cow or of sheep, that is male.
19 Tudo o que abre a madre meu é, até todo o teu gado, que seja macho, e que abre a madre de vacas e de ovelhas;
20 But the firstborn of an ass thou shalt ransom with a lamb, and if thou ransom [him] not, then shalt thou cut off his head. All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt ransom, and none shall appear before me empty.
20 O burro, porém, que abrir a madre, resgatarás com um cordeiro; mas, se o não resgatares, cortar-lhe-ás a cabeça; todo o primogênito de teus filhos resgatarás. E ninguém aparecerá vazio diante de mim.
21 Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt cease; in ploughing [time] and in harvest thou shalt cease.
21 Seis dias trabalharás, mas ao sétimo dia descansarás: na aradura e na sega descansarás.
22 And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of the reaping of the wheat, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end.
22 Também guardarás a festa das semanas, que é a festa das primícias da sega do trigo, e a festa da colheita no fim do ano.
23 Three times in the year shall all your males appear before the GOD [who is] Lord of all, the God of Israel.
23 Três vezes ao ano todos os homens aparecerão perante o Senhor DEUS, o Deus de Israel;
24 For I will cast the Gentiles out of thy presence and enlarge thy borders; neither shall anyone covet thy land when thou shalt go up to be seen before the LORD thy God three times a year.
24 Porque eu lançarei fora as nações de diante de ti, e alargarei o teu território; ninguém cobiçará a tua terra, quando subires para aparecer três vezes no ano diante do Senhor teu Deus.
25 Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice upon anything leavened; neither shall [any] of the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning.
25 Não sacrificarás o sangue do meu sacrifício com pão levedado, nem o sacrifício da festa da páscoa ficará da noite para a manhã.
26 The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not cook a kid in his mother's milk.
26 As primícias dos primeiros frutos da tua terra trarás à casa do Senhor teu Deus; não cozerás o cabrito no leite de sua mãe.
27 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words; for according to these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.
27 Disse mais o Senhor a Moisés: Escreve estas palavras; porque conforme ao teor destas palavras tenho feito aliança contigo e com Israel.
28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did not eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
28 E esteve ali com o Senhor quarenta dias e quarenta noites; não comeu pão, nem bebeu água, e escreveu nas tábuas as palavras da aliança, os dez mandamentos.
29 And it came to pass, as Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, while he came down from the mount, that Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone after he had talked with him.
29 E aconteceu que, descendo Moisés do monte Sinai trazia as duas tábuas do testemunho em suas mãos, sim, quando desceu do monte, Moisés não sabia que a pele do seu rosto resplandecia, depois que falara com ele.
30 And when Aaron and all the sons of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come near him.
30 Olhando, pois, Arão e todos os filhos de Israel para Moisés, eis que a pele do seu rosto resplandecia; por isso temeram chegar-se a ele.
31 And Moses called them, and Aaron and all the princes of the congregation returned unto him, and Moses talked with them.
31 Então Moisés os chamou, e Arão e todos os príncipes da congregação tornaram-se a ele; e Moisés lhes falou.
32 And afterward all the sons of Israel came near, and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him in mount Sinai.
32 Depois chegaram também todos os filhos de Israel; e ele lhes ordenou tudo o que o Senhor falara com ele no monte Sinai.
33 And when Moses had finished speaking with them, he put a veil over his face.
33 Assim que Moisés acabou de falar com eles, pôs um véu sobre o seu rosto.
34 But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he would take the veil off until he came out. And as he came out, he would speak unto the sons of Israel [that] which he was commanded.
34 Porém, entrando Moisés perante o Senhor, para falar com ele, tirava o véu até sair; e, saindo, falava com os filhos de Israel o que lhe era ordenado.
35 And the sons of Israel would see the face of Moses that the skin of Moses' face shone, and Moses would put the veil upon his face again until he would go in to speak with him.:
35 Assim, pois, viam os filhos de Israel o rosto de Moisés, e que resplandecia a pele do seu rosto; e tornava Moisés a pôr o véu sobre o seu rosto, até entrar para falar com ele.
