1 And the angel that spoke with me returned, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep.
1 E o anjo que falava comigo voltou, e despertou-me, como a um homem que é despertado do seu sono,
2 And he said unto me: 'What seest thou?' And I said: 'I have seen, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and its seven lamps thereon; there are seven pipes, yea, seven, to the lamps, which are upon the top thereof;
2 E disse-me: Que vês? E eu disse: Olho, e eis que vejo um castiçal todo de ouro, e um vaso de azeite no seu topo, com as suas sete lâmpadas; e sete canudos, um para cada uma das lâmpadas que estão no seu topo.
3 and two olive-trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.'
3 E, por cima dele, duas oliveiras, uma à direita do vaso de azeite, e outra à sua esquerda.
4 And I answered and spoke to the angel that spoke with me, saying: 'What are these, my lord?'
4 E respondi, dizendo ao anjo que falava comigo: Senhor meu, que é isto?
5 Then the angel that spoke with me answered and said unto me: 'Knowest thou not what these are?' And I said: 'No, my lord.'
5 Então respondeu o anjo que falava comigo, dizendo-me: Não sabes tu o que é isto? E eu disse: Não, senhor meu.
6 Then he answered and spoke unto me, saying: 'This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying: Not by might, nor by power, but by My spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
6 E respondeu-me, dizendo: Esta é a palavra do Senhor a Zorobabel, dizendo: Não por força nem por violência, mas sim pelo meu Espírito, diz o Senhor dos Exércitos.
7 Who art thou, O great mountain before Zerubbabel? thou shalt become a plain; and he shall bring forth the top stone with shoutings of Grace, grace, unto it.'
7 Quem és tu, ó grande monte? Diante de Zorobabel tornar-te-ás uma campina; porque ele trará a pedra angular com aclamações: Graça, graça a ela.
8 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
8 E a palavra do Senhor veio novamente a mim, dizendo:
9 'The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.
9 As mãos de Zorobabel têm lançado os alicerces desta casa; também as suas mãos a acabarão, para que saibais que o Senhor dos Exércitos me enviou a vós.
10 For who hath despised the day of small things? even they shall see with joy the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel, even these seven, which are the eyes of the LORD, that run to and fro through the whole earth.'
10 Porque, quem despreza o dia das coisas pequenas? Pois esses se alegrarão, vendo o prumo na mão de Zorobabel; esses são os sete olhos do Senhor, que percorrem por toda a terra.
11 Then answered I, and said unto him: 'What are these two olive-trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?'
11 Respondi mais, dizendo-lhe: Que são as duas oliveiras à direita e à esquerda do castiçal?
12 And I answered the second time, and said unto him: 'What are these two olive branches, which are beside the two golden spouts, that empty the golden oil out of themselves?'
12 E, respondendo-lhe outra vez, disse: Que são aqueles dois ramos de oliveira, que estão junto aos dois tubos de ouro, e que vertem de si azeite dourado?
13 And he answered me and said: 'Knowest thou not what these are?' And I said: 'No, my lord.'
13 E ele me falou, dizendo: Não sabes tu o que é isto? E eu disse: Não, senhor meu.
14 Then said he: 'These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.'
14 Então ele disse: Estes são os dois ungidos, que estão diante do Senhor de toda a terra.
