1 The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad.
1 O SENHOR reina; regozije-se a terra; fique feliz a multidão das ilhas com isso.
2 Clouds and darkness are round about Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.
2 Nuvens e trevas estão ao redor dele; justiça e juízo são a habitação do seu trono.
3 A fire goeth before Him, and burneth up His adversaries round about.
3 Um fogo vai diante dele, e queima os seus inimigos ao redor.
4 His lightnings lighted up the world; the earth saw, and trembled.
4 Seus relâmpagos iluminaram o mundo; a terra viu e tremeu.
5 The mountains melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
5 Os montes derreteram como cera na presença do SENHOR, na presença do Senhor de toda a terra.
6 The heavens declared His righteousness, and all the peoples saw His glory.
6 Os céus declaram a sua justiça, e todos os povos veem a sua glória.
7 Ashamed be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of things of nought; bow down to Him, all ye gods.
7 Confundidos estão todos aqueles que servem a imagens esculpidas, que se gabam de ídolos; adorai-o, todos vós deuses.
8 Zion heard and was glad, and the daughters of Judah rejoiced; because of Thy judgments, O LORD.
8 Sião ouviu, e se alegrou; e as filhas de Judá se regozijaram por causa dos teus julgamentos, ó SENHOR.
9 For Thou, LORD, art most high above all the earth; Thou art exalted far above all gods.
9 Pois tu, SENHOR, estás muito acima de toda a terra; tu és exaltado muito acima de todos os deuses.
10 O ye that love the LORD, hate evil; He preserveth the souls of His saints; He delivered them out of the hand of the wicked.
10 Vós que amais o SENHOR, odiai o mal; ele preserva as almas dos seus santos; ele os livra da mão dos perversos.
11 Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.
11 A luz é semeada para o justo, e a alegria para os retos de coração.
12 Be glad in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks to His holy name.
12 Regozijai-vos no SENHOR, vós justos; e dai graças à lembrança da sua santidade.
