¹ LORD, Thou hast been favourable unto Thy land, Thou hast turned the captivity of Jacob.

¹ Abençoaste, SENHOR, a tua terra; fizeste voltar o cativeiro de Jacó.

² Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of Thy people, Thou hast pardoned all their sin. Selah

² Perdoaste a iniqüidade do teu povo; cobriste todos os seus pecados. (Selá.)

³ Thou hast withdrawn all Thy wrath; Thou hast turned from the fierceness of Thine anger.

³ Fizeste cessar toda a tua indignação; desviaste-te do ardor da tua ira.

⁴ Restore us, O God of our salvation, and cause Thine indignation toward us to cease.

⁴ Torna-nos a trazer, ó Deus da nossa salvação, e faze cessar a tua ira de sobre nós.

⁵ Wilt Thou be angry with us for ever? Wilt Thou draw out Thine anger to all generations?

⁵ Acaso estarás sempre irado contra nós? Estenderás a tua ira a todas as gerações?

⁶ Wilt Thou not quicken us again, that Thy people may rejoice in Thee?

⁶ Não tornarás a vivificar-nos, para que o teu povo se alegre em ti?

⁷ Show us Thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us Thy salvation.

⁷ Mostra-nos, Senhor, a tua misericórdia, e concede-nos a tua salvação.

⁸ I will hear what God the LORD will speak; for He will speak peace unto His people, and to His saints; but let them not turn back to folly.

⁸ Escutarei o que Deus, o Senhor, falar; porque falará de paz ao seu povo, e aos santos, para que não voltem à loucura.

⁹ Surely His salvation is nigh them that fear Him; that glory may dwell in our land.

¹⁰ Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

¹¹ Truth springeth out of the earth; and righteousness hath looked down from heaven.

¹² Yea, the LORD will give that which is good; and our land shall yield her produce.

¹³ Righteousness shall go before Him, and shall make His footsteps a way.
